Steve Jenson needs to put in a complaint and ask for this to be investigated. After the wind off & this, it can't be defended. What a disgrace to the sport. -

So we've had a "wind off" & now a b0llocks rain off. Joke of a club. No wonder the fans are up in arms. What a fine example the chairman is setting. -
Good to see Holder punished. Shame that weasel Batchelor has got away with it due to faking an injury.
-
Gone off Woffinden over the last few years as has acted a nob at times, but as I said in the SWC thread, if it's a choice of him or Rossiter it's not worth debating. Rosco should do the right thing and resign. Give Woffinden the responsibility on the provision he rides in British Semi/Final and any other events he's required for. No more crap about not having engines or a base over here so can't be bothered. The SWC final was embarrassing, we are 6/7th in the world realistically & it can't get much lower. The BSPA and Rosco aren't going to improve the fortunes running it. Some fitness bloke from the local gym that Rosco knows popping up in the pictures and running around with the side won't make any difference. Woffinden will have the money & backing to make a difference. Give him a go.

Now Branford is out for the season I'd use his spare points and redeclare the team with Wells making way. Two pointer in for Branford & use the spare points on top of Wells average. Should give well over 7.50 to play with.
-
Don't see why Sundstrom wouldn't want extra rides as Gorzow aren't using him at the moment. Wells has been poor & lucky to keep his place when changes were made.
-
Why is anyone surprised by Twatchelor or Holders actions? Twatchelor has been a whiny, moaning brat ever since he started riding in this country. Wouldn't give the guy the steam off my piss if he was cold. He's a tart & faking injury is no surprise from him. His performance tonight at BV shows his contempt for Kings Lynn & British speedway. Holder has lost his bottle since his crash in 2012 & knows he'll never be the same rider so is just trying to earn a living now by staying out of harms way. He won't put his body on the line anymore hence refusing to ride. Both should be banned until the end of the season for bringing the sport into disrepute.

Nicholls is dreadful in the studio. Boring, dead pan & frightened to say anything controversial about any issue incase of upsetting someone. Waste of time & end up turning over in between rounds of heats when he's talking. He needs replacing asap. Quirk is ok & at least has a knowledge of the sport but is a bit too nice with Nicholls & can't get anything out of him. Tatum very good in his role & knows what he's talking about. Puts Pearson in his place as well at times. Pearson is too much of a kiss arse & is too close to the riders. He's a bit precious & obviously doesn't like any criticism of the himself, the sport or his favourite riders. Someone like a Darren Fletcher with Tatum would be ideal, although doubt he'd do it with EPL commentaries.

Speedway World Cup 2017
Chris replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Predictable. No one will touch Poland for years now. Maybe the Aussies in 3/4 years time with Kurtz, Holder & Fricke, but the conveyor belt looks frightening in Polish speedway. Everything is on a different level compared with the rest of the leagues. GB expected. Clueless on these sorts of proper speedway tracks. Bikes aren't fast enough, ride the wrong lines & look as though they have no idea about set ups. Cook embarrassing. Looked as if they were sh1tting themselves the first four heats with the occasion and crowd. Let's be honest, if we weren't always drawn at home against crap oppo then we're 6/7th in the world. Let's see how we do if we are at an away track next year in round one without the Aussies & the USA. Rosco has had it nice these past two years with a bye to the final & Woffinden claiming silver on his own & this year with a dire oppo in a home 1st round. If our best rider is refusing to ride because of him then it's best he steps down. -
Barker & Sedgman? Christ, wasn't really worth it. Barker a brainless nob & Sedgman a gating tart. Doesn't really do anything to improve the side. Harris & Barker being paired shows how stupid schroeck is, they both want to ride the same part of the track. Was it worth sacking a rider who has been very loyal to the club over many years(last week not acceptable) & a young rider who the club should be wanting to use for years to come? Wells, Branford & a veteran Robbo should have been the ones at the front to be released. Promotion have had a nightmare. They have tried bless them, but fkd up badly. They are too naive in the goings on in the sport.
-
Kennett & Perks gone by the looks of it. Not sure the new promotion have a massive knowledge of foreign riders, so sure it will be riders based over here. Would like to see Linus Sundstrom come in if possible. Milik is a steal on his average. If it's along the lines of Barker, Sedgman it's pointless. Must be numbers with Perks as he's been excellent.
-
Hammer1969 has put you in your place above. If he's decided to do it after he's signed a contract at Rye then it's awful by both parties. The promotion for accepting it & Ed for clearly not being bothered about riding for the club. If that's the captains attitude then no wonder the wheels are falling off. Why did the promotion not inform the fans of this cock up as well?
-
So the Rye promotion have been idiots scheduling the fixture & having no facility for a rider. Someone needs to be employed who knows what their doing at the club.
-
Why would the Rye promotion agree to this fixture if they knew of the absence? Longtrack schedule would have been available well before British speedway fixtures. Or has Kennett just cried off? Either the Rye promotion have shown their naivety again or the captain has set a very poor example?
-
As I said, the wheels will fall off now. The new promotion are too naive & don't know enough about the sport. To accept the captain not being bothered to ride at Belle Vue & having no facility says it all. Jenson & Schroeck, especially, leading the club is a disaster.
-
Wheels are coming off. No idea about averages(seems a complete bulls up), but Kennett needs to be away from the number 1 position. I said before the start of the season that if Ed was named at number 1 it would end in tears. To be fair the home form has just about held together, but it's not convincing & if no changes then Rye will drift away from the play off places for the rest of the season. The away form is poor & this side will never have enough heat winners against better sides. Would be looking at changes when the new averages are released.
-
Robbo in heat 15? Schroeck again showing he has no idea. Blokes clueless. Rye team plainly not strong enough & riders like Nicholls, Wells & Branford should be looking over their shoulders. Not doing their jobs.
-
Stupidity from the promotion arranging the fixture on a off night before a GP qualification that's been in the diary for many, many months. The sport just doesn't help itself with this sort of ineptitude. Weakened teams and missing riders just pisses fans off. Not good from the Rye promotion that they didn't book Kurtz before Belle Vue either.

Grand Prix Challenge 2017
Chris replied to STEPHEN 333's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
No he's not the obvious choice. He's had plenty of previous goes and done nothing. The lad can't ride foreign tracks, pointless sending him. Lambert has a chance in the future, he should have been used over someone who won one meeting on a rain soaked track. -
Look at the difference in attitude between Doyle & Woffiden. Woffinden says he's "happy to make semis", back out of tight first bends and perform cut backs galore as he doesn't want to get involved in the first corner. You can only do that for so long before you get found out. Woffinden out the gate last season and the start of this has been dreadful & the dopey tape touch summed him up tonight. Doyle on the other hand is willing to put his body on the line & is only bothered about winning. Doyle is the benchmark at the moment & Woffinden is nowhere near him. I personally feel the stick Woffiden has got off many British fans has had an affect on him. He's made too many bad decisions in the last two years and has come across as an arrogant cock.

Grand Prix Challenge 2017
Chris replied to STEPHEN 333's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Why was King picked to do a round? Complete waste of time and has probably had 8 goes at the qualifiers over the years and been crap every year. Knowing British speedway, it wouldn't surprise if King was picked over Lambert. -
Somerset V Rye House- Rye House V Somerset 19th/20th May
Chris replied to JamesM09's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Another awful away showing. Rye won't get a point away all season. A heatleader trio of Kennett, Harris & Nicholls will never get enough heat wins. Any chance of being competitive away & the team will have to be ripped apart & can't see that happening. Wouldn't be at all shocked if Somerset win at Rye tomorrow. -
Get rid of Schroeck. Liability.

Poole Pirates Vs Rye House Rockets 10/5/17
Chris replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Another mess by Peter Schroeck. The guy is a dreadful team manager & has no idea what he's doing. Strongest r/r rider in heat 1? Wally. Absolute mess with tacticals & more b0llocks quotes from him after the meeting. Why no number 8 named? Get rid. Will be surprised if Rye pick up a point away all season, not enough heat winners. Will have to do a Lakeside & win all home meetings for a chance of the play offs. Puts a lot of pressure on home meetings.
