^This wally trying to patronise, but just making itself look silly. Bless. So what the same guy does the track. Completely irrelevant. One is billiard table smooth, the other a motocross track. For a so called glamour club, the track at Poole is an absolute embarrassment. It's like Man City having to play on a Hackney Marshes pitch at the Etihad. Ford can't be bothered to invest in it. Clear to see. Must be a massive reason that crowds have dropped alarmingly over the years at Poole.

Holders a t0sser, wouldn't want him. KK enjoyed riding a properly prepared track, riding with good blokes & under a management that like to build a good spirit. Couldn't fault his attitude at all at the end of last season & should be a no brainer to claim the last spot on his average.
-
Very uninspiring. Not sure why Jenson hasn't learnt the lessons from last season. The side with a fading Harris at number one will never ever win enough heats away from home to be competitive. KK will have to return to former glories if this side is to do anything. Its a 5th/6th place side again. Very strong at home but crap away. It only takes a couple of lacklustre home performances or a wet track & the season is done. Reminds me of the Lakeside EL sides who were strong at home but dire away & done nothing once the play offs came around. Jenson constantly speaks of attracting and using GP riders, so why has he not tried to get Doyle, Lindgren or Iversen in? Would've thought Rye pay better than Somerset & have much bigger crowds. Where's the ambition? Use Barker or Robsons points on a genuine number one. Whats happening with the stadium improvements as well? Gone very quiet.

Would never want Twatchelor in a side I followed. Heart the size of a pea.

Harris & KK no brainers. Edward on a 6.5 average & as an asset should also be a no brainer. Wouldn't be averse to Nicholls but only if his average fits. He's very poor these days on the bigger circuits. Always liked Thomas Jorgensen around Rye. Linus Sundstrom would be welcomed back with open arms. Wouldn't use Robbo, Barker or Wells as can't see any average improvement.

Calm down Sidney, you'll cause yourself a mischief at your age. Your retired & live in a camper van. I'm not retired or live in a camper van so can't travel round the country when I want. The fact is the objective of the season has not been met. Many on here had Rye down as one of the favourites pre season & we were nowhere near the top. I'm not going to start lavishing praise after a 5th place finish & out of the KO cup in round one. I'm incredulous to see that many want the same team back next year. Absurd. They weren't good enough this year & with the veterans in the side a year older then where's the improvement? Would only have Harris & KK back next year.

Rye House V Swindon 1st September
Chris replied to crazysue's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Said in the programme tonight that the promoters want to put on one more meeting to finish the season after the Leicester match. -
Only have ourselves to blame. Not winning at a depleted Leicester on 12th August was the difference in the end. Should have been a 4 pointer with KK at reserve, but crap choice of guest didn't help. Poole winning at Somerset a week later shows how poor Ryes performance was there. Rye simply haven't been good enough away from home all season with a lack of heat wins the real problem. Harris and Nicholls have to carry the burden for that, Lahti dropped to reserve at just the right time for Poole. A shame as the current home form meant we would have given any of the top 3 a problem over two legs.

Somerset Rebels Vs Poole Pirates 01//09/17

Comfortable Poole win. -
You're a bit simple aren't you?

He scored nought from 4 at home the other week. Is he doing any better than is expected? Still a nob in all honesty. Yes they are now Kasprzak was signed. This was a comment on Barker/Segman you wally.

Belle Vue V Rye House 30 Aug 2017

Still don't fancy an away win as Rye are poor travellers. Can't see enough heat winners as Nicholls has never been quick enough at the NSS. Hopefully wrong with this prediction. -
Somerset V Rye House Friday 25th August
Chris replied to racers and royals's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Poor away again. Way too much inconsistency in the side with Nicholls and Harris not winning enough heats away from home all season. Should have had top four wrapped up already as should have stuffed Leicester & if your a decent side, then you beat a weakened & short of confidence Somerset side tonight. -
An appeal? He couldn't even be bothered to turn up for the first hearing & put his case across. Shows you the contempt he has for the sport in this country and people like you and silly Steve0. Put your dummy back in & hope that they have both learned a lesson that they can't go on behaving like they are above the sport in this country. Your logic above has showed your idiocy by crying for Holder & then wanting someone who's probably shown a lot more commitment to to the sport in this country to be sacked at the last minute.

I'd assume the stadium improvements comment is sarcasm lol -

Not sure I'd feel sorry for Harris & Barker, they were both crap. Something needs doing about the inside line as it's unusable. Ride the dirt line & it's very difficult for anyone to pass as you go backwards if you try the kerb line. The inside needs ripping up but it just looks like concrete so can't do it. Poor entertainment wise & meeting dragged with lengthy stoppages for track grading. What's the point of doing 15 laps of the track & moving what minimal dirt there is. Just pisses everyone off & loses any momentum. 2 hours & 20 minutes for a meeting is unacceptable. Again Schroeck not using Kasprzak to the full, guy should be having seven rides on the form he was in last night. -
Leicester V Rye House 12.08.17
Chris replied to Barrow Boy 2's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Terrible result/performance losing to that "Leicester" side after beating Poole by 30. Kasprzak 7 from 6 at reserve & Harris with 6 points have to take responsibility along with the choice of Jonasson. Has been crap this season in Sweden, probably never rode the Leicester track, crap scores in England since return & does he even have his own machinery over here yet? The promotion don't help themselves. Hope the lost points don't cost at the end of the season. -
His tenure has been a car crash. His comments on the BV first meeting were awful & then trying to get himself the lease/ownership on the sly was putrid. Not too mention trying to sign riders who were embargoed. The two postponements this season against Rye should have also been investigated. The "wind off" and waterlogged track were pure bullsh1t. Not to mention his role in the Cov/Pet fiasco when he took all the TV money & shat on both those clubs. He has got the Holder/Batchelor episode spot on though. He's stuck it on the whiny tossers & gave them and others like them a lesson they won't forget. He'll stand down at the end of season imo. Too much crap has happened under his stewardship.
-
Promotion need to do a Chapman "wind off" or fake rain off here. Rye will get murdered with no facility for Kasprzak. Rye can't afford any home defeats if they have any chance of the play offs, so the change would have been pointless if Swindon win. Oh well.

Rye House V Leicester 2nd August 2017
Chris replied to JamesM09's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Not sure why this wasn't called off hours ago. Forecast was for constant rain between 1pm & 3am. -
Stop being wet behind the ears. A dr is always going to sign a rider off if he complains of any sort of pain. It's not worth their bother saying "no, your lying. Get out and race". The rider then has a pile up next race & gets a life changing injury & he's in deep ... Batchelor deserves no fairness after riding less than 24 hours later. You reap what you sow.
-
Well done Chapman. Reading the sycophants on Twitter kissing the riders arses is embarrassing. Lovely to see the whining Aussies in full flow. They need knocking down a peg or two. Perfectly played by Buster, those two screwed him & now he's getting revenge. These two thought they were too good & above British speedway for some reason. They have slagged off the sport in this country, but continued to take the money. Hypocrites. Batchelor has been a whiny tosser ever since he started riding in this country. Holder thought he was above the sport over here, but now he's crap & people won't follow or listen to him anymore. Hope they lose their visas & are never seen in this country again. Also hopefully a lesson to all the other Aussie whingers to behave yourselves or the same will happen to you.

Fair play to the promotion for having a go & not just accepting the play offs are gone. With Poole & Lynn shooting themselves in the foot it's a no brainer to sign Kasprzak at reserve. Hopefully he's right in the head & feels he has a point to prove. Only a couple of years ago he was fighting for the world title.
-
Tai shouldn't be picked for the World Games if he can't be bothered to do the SWC. He's made his bed so now has to lie in it. You can't pick & choose when you want to get involved. He would have only wanted to do it as it benefits him. Home track, he has lots of Polish sponsors & would have only had to put up with Rosco for a couple of hours. May as well send Bewley & Lambert. Surely Cook will pull out to save face.

I'd hope that the new promotion realise that policy is absolute folly now they have a taste of the top league. The changes made were pointless & showed a lack of any European rider knowledge. Look at what a good signing Musielak has been for Swindon & Lahti is on a bargain average if you have followed his scores in Sweden the last couple of years. I'd suspect Jenson & Schroeck have never heard of these riders.
