  1. 12 man squad announced for some reason: Nicholls Harris Rico Kennett Woffinden Stead Howe King Bridger(If allowed abroad) Allen R/R Wright Lawson(Scotland) Why waste time naming a squad of twelve? Dear me there is some crap in that squad. Does Lynch really need to think long and hard about the team? Even a plonker like Lynch can see the five must consist of: Harris Nicholls Kennett Rico Tai
  2. Typical English/Scottish attitude. Hard luck boys. That was a rubbishe field no matter if it involved a couple of riders with track knowledge. If a rider of such limited ability as Bob Cheesecake can finish third it says it all about the performance of Barker/Tully. It still looks as though the majority of our under21 boys are like a fish out of water when leaving these shores.
  3. Terrible display from Barker and Tully in that standard of field. Tully can be excused as he shouldn't have been there anyway, but dire from Barker against that opposition.
  4. Any pics of the Abensberg qualifier anywhere?
  5. Cheers. So 1 o'clock BST. Will any of the German forums be doing live updates?
  6. Silly of me. After watching the SWC last year at Leszno I thought we would be in for a treat, but forgot about the Olsen factor. Completely ruined the track as usual by putting no material down. The sooner he is gone from the race director role the better for the series and the none Danish riders. Fair play to Nicki. The dying swan act done the job.
  7. What time does the meeting in Germany start tomorrow?
  8. Probably Boxall and an other at Gustrow as Boxall will need maximum time to recover from his Shoulder operation. One seeded rider for the semi is Tai at Rye.
  9. Yep and it was probably the reason why the format was changed fairly soon after. It was laughable. Crump and Adams were riding with their left feet down for the majority of the race to keep them behind Gustaffson and Karlsson. Nothing wrong with the format now. The SWC has provided the best racing in the sport in the last few years.
  10. GB and Czech knocked out Sweden in Hungary and Poland knocked out Aus and Russia in Poland.
  11. Looks as though our captain and "no.1" let the team down in Germany. Very poor. Shame Oakes didn't tell Wright or King to feign an injury to get Tai in.
  12. Rye are riding Saturday night in the PL. Have to win by 10+ to qualify for play offs. Doubt Len would have let Steve or Tai go.
  13. Who knows. The problem is the system. We may as well use him though if he can help us to win the thing.
  14. Can't help with start time, but our line up looks like it is: E.Kennett D.King© J.Wright L.Bridger An.Other(Must be Tai surely) Poles are: K.Zabik© P.Hlib K.Buczkowski M.Szcepaniak A.Gomolski Czechs: L.Tomicek© F.Sitera M.Kus H.Stichaeur M.Vandirek Germans: T.Busch R.Speiser M.Dilger K.Wolbert© An.Other
  15. Would have been home and dry, but for Hans and AJ's coming together in Copenhagen.
  16. Don't think you can look past the Poles of Zabik and Hlib or Saifutdinov. Probably been practicing at Ostrow for weeks and have the engine set up perfectly. Holder may be able to do something, but can't see anyone else winning it. Ed K hasn't a chance in Poland. On a medium sized track like Vojens where you don't rely on top end speed he would have been right up there, but he hasn't got the motors or experience on the big Polish tracks to trouble the above mentioned riders. He'll do well to challenge for a rostrum place. Looks like the home boys have it all to lose.
  17. Cheers. Is the format top two into the final and 3-6 into a semi with first two progressing into the final or straight twenty heats?
  18. Anyone got the draw for the final on Sunday?
