  1. It's an awful side Sid, bottom of the table written all over it. Absolute shambles. The new promotion have shown they have no idea what their doing at the moment with the winter team building. Rye were going down the drain under Silver, but this promotion will be going the same way unless they learn quickly. What wally is actually making the decisions at Rye? The communication from them has been worse than under Silver ffs
  2. Plan for the future? We've had f all to shout about for six years as terrible sides have been built & this one will be no better. Sod planning for the future, build a f'ing decent side. Where's the planning for the future in employing Robbo & a going through the motions Lanham? The team building has been an absolute shambles. The new promotion have shown their naivety and got it all wrong. What wally is making these decisions? First NBJ & then Klindt buggers off without a word said. Another year of nothing & hovering around the bottom. The new promotion haven't done a lot to improve the club. The only good thing they have done is got rid of Silver. I can't see what else they have done. They'll just lose money and crowds if they continue making wallyish decisions like they have this winter. Where are the promised stadium improvements? Can only hope this is early teething problems as doesn't bode well for the future if it carries on.
  3. Can't see any benefit of Leigh Lanham being signed so a double change if for the better would improve the side. Not sure there's many heatleaders out there though.
  4. A rag bag of a side which has been put together without any real plan. A massive cock up with team building due to Lambert which has to be put down to naivety. The releasing of NBJ looks even more stupid now. Robbo has suffered too many injuries to be the rider we saw 10 years ago & Heeps hasn't developed as many thought he would. No back up for Kennett on the road at all. Afraid again it's a bottom of the table side that has been built at Rye for about the sixth year in a row now.
  5. Wow! Can it get any worse? We've been fed rubbish by silver for the last few years and now we get this from the new promotion. From what they have done so far it is showing that they don't know what their doing. What an absolute shambles. They let an exciting young rider like NBJ go and sign turd like Klindt and Lanham. Lanham bored me to tears 10 years ago when he was a half decent rider. A complete gating tart and over the hill. He's a veteran rider now going through the motions. Klindt? Another gating tart and his average keeps on tumbling every year. What an exciting side to watch this will be. Not. Lambert? Comical. You would have thought they would have got him signed sealed and delivered after going to so much hassle to get him in for two meetings last year, but no. Unless Nick Morris/Ellis are signed its bottom of the table stuff. I feel sorry for Edward who will again have to carry a crap side. A more boring, turgid & uninspiring side would be very hard to find. Ahh how nice, just read the press release. So they want the team to be full of great guys who all get on. Sod that the team will be crap and full of boring riders. Personally as a fan I don't give a sh't if the riders get on or not. Seems like we have a promotion who had as much ambition to win things as Len did the last five years.
  6. Plus he's a racer who is good to watch, so another reason why it's a strange decision.
  7. Hmmm. The new promotion better come up with some very good reasons why they don't want to use NBJ. Some communication on the reasons why should be forthcoming asap as its a strange decision. Why go through the process of giving him a year to bed in and then let Peterborough have his average increase? They need to start announcing signings as this decision has pissed a lot of fans off.
  8. Wouldn't want Barker, he's a nob. Don't think him and Kennett see eye to eye either. Kennett, NBJ and Lykke if he can be fitted would be the only ones I'd want to see return.
  9. Looks very narrow. Hope it's the angle of the photograph. Hope it's not another Tampere. As soon as someone first put a picture up of that up it was clear it was way too narrow. This looks similar.
  10. Pretty obvious this would be the outcome after another awful season. I certainly won't be shedding a tear for silvers departure but he deserves thanks for his efforts up to 2010 for the club. He tidied up the stadium and signed some real quality young talent that were a joy to watch. The last five years have been abysmal & embarrassing. Rye should have been dominating the PL along with Edinburgh the last ten years but Silver became to arrogant & stuck in his ways. The last straw for me was when he basically told the fans to F off over the Jason Doyle episode. That showed Silver had become too arrogant and had lost touch. The lack of ambition that move showed was terrible. A lot of fans lost respect for him that day. It truly can't be any worse than the last five years so we need to see what Scott can do. He's had a season of seeing how not to do things so hopefully he can put right lens wrongs and get the club to where it should be. There's no reason if the stadium improvements are carried out and a good side is put together that the crowds won't return. Rye must have been averaging around the 1500 mark in the mid to late 2000's when Silver built good, exciting sides. The ingredients are there for the club to be one of the best in the PL and eventually EL if Scott makes the right decisions.
  11. Can it be any worse than the last five years under Silver/Sampford? The club has been a f'ing embarrassment with diabolical performances and pathetic league positions.
  12. Surely Rye will be fined for an under strength side? Disgrace, but expected from Silver. What a joke the club is.
  13. Hemsley has proved he has no idea by designing and then not changing that track. It is awful and any old fool can see it but not Hemsley. You provide that track and crap sides then fans will disappear. His stubbornness towards track changes will cost him in the long run.
  14. Excellent GP. Awful move from Doyle who is over riding to try and stay with the pack.
  15. Isn't it Len who can't work with his son? I seem to remember Andrew having a massive pop at Len after he cocked up the track for Peterborough meeting which resulted in a dust off for the NL meeting? Len has also admitted it was him who emailed Mellgren as well. Len seems to still be running everything & making all of the decisions. The quicker Scott can get rid of Silver & Sampford the better. Both have long outstayed their welcome. They should both be embarrassed by Ryes performances & league positions for the last few years.
  16. Would be beyond stupid to not use NBJ next year after a year of learning the tracks in England.
  17. Haven't got a problem with the two swedes going, but not a good way to do it, Robin has been poor and Anders just isn't the same rider since his back injury. He has lost all his confidence which is a shame as it looked as though he could turn into a very good rider when he first joined the club.
  18. Anders Mellgren dropped in an email according to his Twitter. Classy way too do things eh?
  19. The clubs a mess & has been for years now. All down to Silver. My respect for that old fool went years ago. If he isn't gone before next season then it's clear Scott doesn't give a rubbish about the club. It's bizarre a guy who must have put in a decent amount of money in to buy a share is so disinterested. Not a peep out of him all season & does he even turn up occasionally? You would have thought that anyone with their finger on the pulse would have pulled silver up over many, many issues this season. Worrying really.
  20. Should be comfortable for Ipswich. Rye shouldn't be able to cope with R/R against any half decent side.
  21. Those quotes show why Rye have done sod all for years, one rider gets half the points and its slaps on the back and well done all round, Pathetic.
  22. Rye are a poor side. If your getting wet over beating riders like Massen and Bowen then you should calm down. Bates or Garrity don't have the intelligence to go on and be top riders in the sport. Bates has even less ability than Garrity.
  23. Garrity showing himself for the prat he is. Him and Bates don't have the iq of a Knat between them. Two thicker young men your unlikely to see. A shame they picked on a mild mannered man and not someone who will give them the good seeing to they both need. Perhaps Bates can fight a wall again? Comedy from the Sheffield fans laughing about have Garrity over Jackobsen. I know which one will go a lot further in their careers. The one who just finished second in a world under 21 final or a thicko who will hurt himself very seriously before long. Jackobsen has more ability in his little finger than Garrity has. The guy is a menace on a bike, His upbringing wasn't good and that shows clearly. Thought he was a prat when he rode for Rye and wasn't unhappy to see him leave. He'll get his comeuppance soon and there won't be a lot of tears shed anywhere.
