Thank God That's Over - Thoughts Of The 2013 Season
KevtheRev replied to uk_martin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Agree with all the above, with just a few to add: Negatives: The Ritchie Worrall saga Davey Watt - Finally admitting that his heart lies with Poole, just before Lakeside's crucial match. Lakeside's season finishing on August 23 Positives: Richard Lawson - Lakeside's rider of the year. Bridger starting to get his act together Watching the Polish & Swedish matches on the Internet (shows how bad things are in the UK) -
How is Terry Russell these days

Please Go Middlo
KevtheRev replied to skeletor's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I cannot believe it when I saw Barker sitting on his bike looking as though somebody had shot his grandmother. It was his last ride and we were mathematically still in with a shout. Where was Middlo!!! On paper Bridger and Barker are capable of beating Woodward & Doyle but it didn't happen. Middlo's no motivator and not a good team manager. The other 3 managers last night had their team pumped up and getting stuck in. We just seemed to be making up the numbers. FFS go Middlo. -

Bridger has been riding we Bridger definitely. Riding well at the moment. Then it has to be Cook or Worrall Finally, get rid of middlo and bring Rossiter in -
Think you'll find it is Carter that is the legend and Penhall was nothing by an American fly boy. At the time there was much more interest in Carter and today more people talk about Carter than Penhall. Have to agree with Dirt about the 82 final. Not sure what footage you've watched but it's very clear that Penhall took out Carter and should have gone. Certainly no room was left.

If the BSPA do nothing this winter, then it's up to us as Fans to make a point. Seriously, we need to make a point. We need to hit them where it hurts in their pockets! I would suggest a boycott of a shared event, so as to not affect one promotion. -
My thoughts as well. I remember getting the coach from Hackney to go and support Rye every Sunday. Wasn't any hatred from the Hackney side and I can't see why there would be the other way.

Spent more years at Kings Lynn. A born racer at one of the best race tracks - surely Saddlebow Road would have been best. As for his best year, I would have said 1988 with Hackney. A mere youngster, raw and spectacular. -

Gb Under 21 Qualifiers
KevtheRev replied to torpointfanatic22's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Crowd was poor, track was poor with racing almost non existent. Meeting seemed to drag on and a centre green announcer was definitely missed. The second year running it's been dire, will be skipping next year. However, Well done to Joe, great result. Thought Jerran rode well too. -

£4 is a bit steep for a programme. Rather than line the pockets of the BSPA I'd rather buy something from the trackshop or a pint from the bar. Does anybody have a spreadsheet I could use please? -
It's all about money and they will want to Cardiff to be as full as possible. Having only 1 brit in the GP legitimately would risk the crowd level being affected. Rightly or wrongly I think they will want 2 brits.

Would be a tremendous gesture, and seemingly the right thing to do!
