Lakeside Vs Poole 1st Sept (sky Meeting)
KevtheRev replied to SCB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Richard Lawson would be top of my list too. Closely followed by Lewis Bridger. I'm also happy with Adam and Ben. Kim came in late in the day and I'd give shot from the season start given his impressive Swedish form. If Mikkel can commit ( and we haven't pi55ed him off) then he's a must. That leaves Davey - who can go back to Poole. We can then bring back AJ. -
A six month ban would be pointless. He could race next year and currently sits in the top 8 of the GP and may even get a wild card place if he misses out. Needs to be much longer to have any effect. 9 Months at least.

Poole Pirates Vs Lakeside Hammers 13/8/2014
KevtheRev replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
How do you get it full screen? I actually like the feed - no stupid biased presenters and I think the noise quality is very good, and he picture quality is good too. The location of the camera is better at some tracks - Poole is pretty poor. I usually have the Updates page up as well so I can see whose in the heats. -
Poole Pirates Vs Lakeside Hammers 13/8/2014
KevtheRev replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I can see Lakeside nicking a point tonight - or should I say being handed a point. Poole are pretty certain of second place. So they will want Lakeside in the play offs, so that Agent Watt can be activated and good ol' thrashing dished out. -
Not sure not attending a meeting will achieve much as I don't think we could reach out to enough people. I like the idea of turning your backs on riders - that would be a little difficult to cover up on TV. Alternatively how about the wearing of a Bright Coloured T-Shirt - Yellow for example with a STOP THE ROT logo ( if it could be organised get all profits going to the SRBF).

Musical Chairs At Lakeside
KevtheRev replied to E I Addio's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I see agent Watt was activated at Eastbourne - 4 rides and just 3 points, beating just 1 Eastbourne rider. -
It's Lakeside that are using 3 FTR's. Seems like every promoter let's Ford walk all over them - including Cook. I won't even mention agent Watt.
-
Ah yes, but Poole are now pretty safe for a play off place. So Agent Watt will ride well this Friday as Poole would rather take on the Hammers should they get to the play offs - where Agent Watt can be activated once again.
-
And onc again you give yourself away f***wit
-
There are a few words for you too - idiot, F*** wit for starters
-
Financial reasons - Well that might explain why he's had quite few Ht15 rides when there were other riders who clearly were riding better and should have been selected. On a very sad day for the sport with the Brummies gone, if Lakeside have been forced to make this change in order to survive, then I would say it is being run well.

The Difference In Attendances At Tracks
KevtheRev replied to mdmc82's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
As I see it, the fixture list is very disjointed. People are not turning up because it is too espensive and they don't know who is going to be representing either team. Watching the Swedish and Polish leagues on TV - they seem to have got it right. Crowds are good and teams are stronger than the UK. To start with, we have to go to one night a week. With Poland on Sunday (and sometimes Monday), Sweden on Tuesday, then the UK has to go Thursdays. Home one weekk, away the next. Cut admission to £12 or £15 including programme. Until that happens, speedway will continue to decline in the UK. -
It Is Time To Get Shot Of Mr Watt!
KevtheRev replied to Vincent Vega's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The problem with Watt is that he goes missing at crucial times far too often. The best example was at the end of last season when he went missing at crucial matches and Lakeside missed out on the play offs - to Poole. The place where he freely admits holds a special place in his heart. With a superstar in the making - Bech, on a 5 point average +2 good FTR's +Lawson riding so well + Bridger improving, Lakeside have their best opportunity to win the EL in 2014. However, Watt on the other hand has put in some disgraceful performances this year and Lakeside have already dropped key league points thanks mainly to a low scoring Watt. Last night, 4 points against a depleted BV is not good enough. Some would say he was trying hard - but was he really. He made it look like he was, but did he ever actually look like he was going to overtake anyone. -

Yes if it had been previously arranged and agreed between BOTH clubs. Let of for Middleditch for making the mistake. -
Lakeside V Poole Saturday 24th May 8pm
KevtheRev replied to racers and royals's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Think you'll find it was Poole that called it off, then wrongly claimed lakeside had agreed to it. As for tonight, if it's on, Ward will be spectacular and with Grajczonek, Janowski and Newman, it's certainly no forgone conclusion, especially if Agent Watt is activated. -

Poole V Birmingham 1st Leg Grand Final

The moment Swindon refused to let 2 wrongs make a right and throw a match the writing was on the wall. Cheats are definitely prospering and it's quite sickening -
