  1. How much action do you think you get in The Hundred? If each ball lasts for say 5 seconds, that works out at well….just over 15 minutes. It’s what they do between balls that stands it apart and what speedway can learn a lot from.
  2. They are still English, though. No amount of trying to be right can take that away from them.
  3. I love the people on here saying they are glad they didn’t go. Yet all the people who did go seemed to enjoy themselves. Perhaps it’s just not quite the same on TV huh?
  4. Bigger club and a better race track.
  5. Last year Poole lost 52-38 at Oxford and I watched some of their fans leave after the 5-1 in heat 12. Last year Plymouth lost 59-31 at Oxford and I watched their fans singing and chanting until the end. No comparison.
  6. A quick question.... Adam Roynon was signed on a 28-day injury replacement for Henry Atkins, which expired on 19 July. Would Oxford have had to sign him permanently before they'd completed 75% of their fixtures for him to now race for the Cheetahs?
  7. They’ve got to make the change by Wednesday, no? That’s when they will have completed 75% of their fixtures I think (15 of 20 league and BSN). Can’t see anything happening that quickly, so will likely to just be Jody Scott guesting most of them.
  8. I meant purely from a performance perspective. He's scored maximums at Oxford, but hasn't impressed in his most reason visits. He was pretty poor when Workington visited this season. Oh, and I had forgotten all about his antics at the Pairs last year. He'll definitely need to be better than that!
  9. Too late now unfortunately. Which is probably a good thing - stops Jody Scott coming in to replace Rohan Tungate.
  10. Will Worrall not be back? Thought he was scheduled for return around August 10th? If he's not fit, Glasgow won't be taking third.
  11. Heard a rumour at Oxford last night that Tom Brennan might be Premiership only next season.
  12. 1st: Oxford 2nd: Redcar 3rd: Glasgow Oxford's to lose. Nicholls and Masters are near unbeatable at home. Redcar and Glasgow to fill the podium. Workington in with an outside shout as they both have plenty of track experience - obviously depending if Batchelor turns up. Poole would surely be stronger with Tom Brennan, especially with how he rode last night.
  13. Be interesting to see how Etherington does. Is this his first meeting in the NDL?
  14. They've got Monkey World as well. That probably offers a similar level of entertainment for most Poole fans.
  15. Yes, nice blue sky. Let see if it works... @Toady?
  16. Exactly. A sensible take on the situation.
  17. Only you could agree with the Poole fans and think the Championship is better than the Premiership. I live inside your head so much that you'd argue the sky was green if I said it was blue.
  18. My point is that the quality is significantly better. No amount of you claiming it's not is going to change that fact. End.
  19. What's it like watching a GP rider race at Poole? Oh wait.... haha
  20. Shovlar wants us to think he's been on a tour of Poole this morning, even checking out the stock status' at the cafes. What a plank!
  21. Yep, it's just a shame you're missing out on the best action in the UK because Poole can't afford it.
  22. Yeah, I'd love to know how it was dusty if the Sahara looked like the M1?
  23. Said the person who has to deal with inferior quality racing week-on-week. Nice try, though. It's the second tier for a reason.
