  1. Poole fan fails to realise the English Channel is just over 250 metres away from the stadium!
  2. Don’t worry, they’ve just switched on the under shale heating. 😉
  3. 1) No it wasn’t. Water was across half of the fourth bend, while the third bend was relatively clear. 2) Its no longer midday.
  4. The track is currently looking okay....considering the circumstances. Bend four still flooded, but the rest of the track is in good condition. It will be fine by tomorrow. Question remains, how much rain will arrive tomorrow though?
  5. If Holder (or Kubera) makes the top six in the SGP, who is next in line for the Challenge? Thorssell?
  6. Absolutely. Takes some guts to ride like that after suffering such horrendous injuries just a couple of years ago. Great to see such passion from him after the race as well.
  7. Every single one of Oxford's Championship team are at it.
  8. If you think William Cairns is that good, imagine how amazing Maksymilian Pawelczak is going to be!
  9. That will surely be Killeen given the rhetoric from Schroeck when Killeen replaced Kemp this season.
  10. A potential Oxford team (long shot I know). Would fit if it's 39 points. 1. Tai Woffinden 2. Charles Wright 3. Chris Harris 4. Sam Masters 5. Maciej Janowski 6. Ashton Boughen 7. Luke Killeen
  11. Correct. Boughen will literally be the first name on the Oxford team sheet.
  12. The speedway is financed by Jamie Courtney, I wasn’t aware Boothby had anything to do with the speedway. Surprised he put any money into it.
  13. Injured his wrist in the Redcar ko cup match last week. Did it when he fell off his bike after heat 10.
  14. Of course Toruń have the power to stop him.... they use a thing called złoty, and a lot of it.
  15. Ouch. The loss of Heeps and Jenkins could be massive. Definitely make Redcar favourites to progress on the back of this. Jenkins loves it there, and Heeps isn't half bad either. Much depends on Boughen, if he can score double figures that might be the difference. Going to be close either way I think.
  16. As @iainb said, I think his 100% effort in every race has been appreciated. He never once gave up in a race, always tried.
  17. Agreed. Would be welcome back I’m sure. Also a genuinely nice guy that the whole team seemed to enjoy riding with.
  18. I think it’s fair to say that some riders respond well to riding at certain tracks, and others don’t. Same goes for coaching methods and equipment. Having the means for investment is also a huge factor. There’s no magic formula, otherwise everybody would follow it.
  19. Yeah, I can appreciate that. And I’m all for giving it to them on the right occasion, but seems strange to me when one rider was SO dominant last night and was head and shoulders above everybody else.
  20. While I thought Coles was excellent, I’d love to know what more Masters could have done to get it? He was untouchable.
