  1. I think you'll find he just posted what the majority of us are thinking. Why don't you take a step back for a bit, and you might then see that you're not painting yourself in the best light? I came on here to try and find out if the cameraman is okay, and instead am met with you posting constantly, taking offence at posts when they are trying to be helpful and arguing with people. You say you came on here to try and find out some information yourself, but as you now know, there is no update yet, so why are you still spamming the thread? Is it because it has 'Poole' in the title and you think it's your birthright? Right....now let's focus on the cameraman. Hopefully he's making a recovery. If anybody has any reliable news about him it would be much appreciated, as I think we're all (even Shovlar) concerned.
  2. You'd think some weather updates on Twitter would be useful from the club. At the moment it's radio silence!
  3. Take some responsibility for your actions, and stop blaming other people.
  4. Someone needs to create a thread just so you two can argue on it, and save us all having to read it. It's relentless, and on multiple threads - both of you have to have the last word. It's like two kids (which I'm sure neither of you are, so should know better) fighting over the last sweet. GIVE IT A REST.
  5. I wasn't at the meeting, but just seen Ashton Boughen's performance. Crikey. That lad is rather good.
  6. They are secured to the fence behind them, but they'd have to be secured with something extremely strong to not move under a -1.5g crash at 25 degrees, it would simply tear the air fence at the anchor points. Securing the fence is a moot point anyway, as the fence behind the air fence was also destroyed by the force of the impact (probably not visible on BSN, but I was stood right behind the accident)....the air fence and the fence it was secured to both moved towards the scene of the accident such was the power of the crash.
  7. A lot of that will be due to the angle of Schlein's crash. I just re-watched it, and he hit the fence at an angle of about 25 degrees. Combined with the force of the accident, which must have been about -1.5g (if impact was around 30mph), the fence was always going to gravitate towards the scene of the impact. Only way around that is to have smaller air fence sections, so that they separate in smaller pieces when hit (not sure how that would impact inflation, though).
  8. That Dillon Ruml pass on Hume in heat 14 was my highlight of the year as an Oxford fan.
  9. Ouch. Please don't move anywhere near Oxford!
  10. With so many clubs having closed down over the years, I imagine there are quite a few riders like that. Simon Cross comes to mind (Oxford, Cradley, Weymouth, Middlesbrough and Coventry)
  11. How is this even a debate? If the stream doesn't work, of course you should get a refund. I know some people will take the stance that Birmingham need every penny, etc., but requesting a refund for a broken stream isn't going to keep them going! What might just keep them afloat is good customer service. They should be refunding customers (and apologising) for the issues immediately. Then they'll eventually reap the rewards of that customer coming back and buying the stream again another day, and the day after that, and the day after that. Keep customers happy, and they'll spend money again on another occasion. Upset them, and they probably won't. Simples.
  12. Exactly. Big IF that Killeen comes back, though.
  13. The team riding in heat 7 was superb, but they clearly learned from their mistakes. Nicholls and Heeps tried to do exactly the same thing to Schlein the week before in heat 11 and it went horribly wrong. Two points lost on that occasion. Fair play to them for giving it another go, though.
  14. That's exactly what I said. Belle Vue need to win their remaining away fixtures and hope BOTH Leicester and MIldenhall don't win meetings you'd expect them to win. Stranger things have always happened (look how Belle Vue themselves blew it last season), but a top-two finish is looking unlikely.
  15. To summarise. He basically said Poole fans don’t troll or gloat and to prove him wrong, and then you posted the ‘basso/brasso’ comment almost immediately afterwards. Carlsberg don’t do forum posts, but if they did…
  16. Good result for Belle Vue, but they need some away wins if they are going to make the playoffs. Got to beat Berwick and Workington, and it still might not be enough if Mildenhall and Leicester win all their home meetings, and pick up at least one away win. Oxford’s three away wins (and a winnable Kent fixture to come) already should mean they top the table. I can’t see them losing any at home.
  17. But you realise the significance of the timing of your ‘joke’ after what chris4gillian said? Or did that one fly over your head?
  18. Reading this thread is hilarious. Shovlar has completely thrown chris4gillian under the bus - although he'll probably still be in denial.
  19. That's a strange move. Why not replace Killeen with Garrad, and keep the R/R for Dugard? Makes them much stronger.
  20. Quick question, but why wouldn't the likes of Ashton Boughen race in this?
  21. That's shame. Hot favourites with Killeen in the team in my opinion.
  22. Plenty of people benefit from what people post on this forum. A lot of posters are very well informed, and a lot of people are very grateful for a lot of things said and explained. For instance, just a few posts before this one on this thread, a whole section on averages was explained etc. It's only the trolls who post on here that offer no benefits whatsoever.
