He refused the last two meetings - Berwick home and away. Someone correct me if ive picked it up wrong but it was because of the blue riband meeting that Bowes was supposed to attend. He, even though its responsibility, wanted his equipment transported down for the meeting. Mr.Baines organised transport, which unfortunately fell through. He then sorted secondary transport out but Bowes must have spat his dummy at that point, telling the promotion that he wouldn't be attending the last meetings in a not so nice fashion.

I disagree with a few points here. First is around etheridge. Yes he done very good around northside but he wasn't that great away from home. Hes been around long enough that he should know how to get around most tracks. I wouldn't bring him back. Batch scored the most away points for us this season at no.1. I would take him back at no.5 this season because I feel like he'll be even better at 5 and won't have the pressure of being the number 1. DT is a strange one. He obviously scored fantastically well to get that average but he also got that average when not riding at no.1 or 5. To me, its a big risk to bring him in as no.1 this season, but someone has to take that gamble.

Pedersen and DT?

Agree here. Batch with a better no.1 would be my preference. I think there's better options out there than DT. I also wouldn't take Etheridge back. He was very good at northside but I dont feel like he was solid overall. My choice would be Kildemand Zischke Hook Pedersen Batch Foord Reserve rider. Not sure what that leaves us. If it leaves us a generous amount then I'd swap hook to reserve

For me, especially with our track, if prefer to have Kildemand over Thompson. Such an entertaining rider when hes on it

He won't be returning to anyone anytime soon, especially if the rumours of only one over 8 average rider per team. Who will pick him over the other available number 1s?

Im only Joking ladies and gents. Well, partially. Can't stand Plymouth as a track but I respect them for trying to change it. We even seen some passing on the track last season for once. I also feel the way Plymouth are being managed is the right way and will help the sport, and their club in the long run.

Well thats the Danny King rumour put to bed. Back to Klindt as no.1? Im struggling for ideas who it could be. Available number 1s: - Klindt - Harris - Wright - lawson - masters - Thompson - Kildemand - Jeppesen Don't think I've missed anyone. Obviously expected Lawson, Masters, Harris, and wright to be taken by their current clubs. One of Jeppesen or Kildemand will remain at Berwick. That would leave Klindt, Kildemand or Jeppesen, and Thompson. If the rumours are true about Klindt not riding in championship, then I have a feeling we may see a Kildemand return.

Can't believe a good rider and racer in Danny King wants to ride such a god awful track.

I suspect he'll be one of the weaker reserves in the league next season. Good young rider but feel this is a jump too early at the moment

If you asked the Workington lot, they'd give you a different response. Very likeable person, sometimes moody on the track but thats about it.

Any ideas when we'll hear news regarding signings? Fully expecting Tate and Hook back next season.

Have you taken into account the british rider reduction? I could be wrong, but last time I checked it was around 9 or 10 riders over 8. Still too many, but slightly better.

Not sure I'd have Etheridge or Foord back. Would like to see tate back for a third year as he's promised new equipment and also won't be riding in Poland
