Very concerning. I fear speedway will be no more at northside soon. We should've been allowed to stay at NDL level for another season.

Really impressed with Jacob Hook yesterday. He made some great passes and produced some of the most entertaining heats of the meeting. I really hope he pushes on and has a fantastic season. Such a likeable person and he's down practicing at Northside on a regular basis. UTC!

This was proven to be very far from accurate. I think Masters and Vuolas were the reason you won it. Everyone else was rubbish

Jonatan Grahn comes in for Fraser Bowes. After seeing Grahn around northside the other week, I think that strengthens us.

I'm going to be slightly more positive with this reply. Troy after a horrendous two meetings has looked much better today. I honestly thought he was done but he's made this meeting slightly less embarrassing than it could've been. Hook has also looked decent.

Tate isn't the same rider as last year but hopefully he picks up soon. I feel sorry for Bowes because he really needed his team mates to help him out while he learns the UK tracks. I think he'll do fantastic tomorrow though (I hope). Vuolas is great but like last year he struggles at most away tracks. I think the promotion hoped that Jye would return with new equipment and become the rider of old which hasn't happened. The reserves will be decent this season. Hook has done okay today and Vinnie would prefer to hug the air fence. However, Vinnie is a fantastic rider and he'll improve.

Some big decisions to be made. This scoreline is embarrassing and there will be a drop in the numbers attending if it carries on.

Its going to be a long season unfortunately. Too much inexperience and off form riders.

A lot share that opinion. He's no where near a top rider in the NDL and he'll only score tomorrow if mechanical gremlins come along for our riders.

Mark Parker actually rode for us (comets) last season against yous after the airport mess up. He was very far off the pace.

I think we need a realist in here. I travelled to scunny to watch us get embarrassed. That shouldn't be happening. It doesn't matter how many meetings we've had under our belt. No team should get that embarrassed by scunthorpe.

Zero entertainment. Track is and always will be shocking. They've even resorted to putting cheerleading on to try to up the entertainment factor.

What an awful track. It's like most clubs mini track. Gate and go. Whoever is past the first bend wins.

Retaining batch can be the wrong decision but that doesnt mean dropping cookie was wrong also. The antics cookie pulled last season were out of order and not acceptable. Letting your team know you aren't turning up 20 minutes prior to a meeting starting isn't acceptable. Not being contactable through the whole of winter whilst you're supposed to be preparing for the new season is not acceptable. It's clear batch isn't a no.1 and his spitting the dummy attitude isn't acceptable but cookie can be just as bad. You can only go off what you know and the promotion knew that batch attended every meeting without fail.

Some harsh comments here. Yes it isn't acceptable by Batch but his bike was awful today. I agree it wasn't good enough. Why didn't he choose his second bike? However, he wasn't pulled up at the back because he was losing. His bike was just rubbish.

His argument was he wants a slick track to get some consistency for the home lads in hope that consistent good performances at home carry over to away meetings. I know naff all about track prep so god knows
