  1. Great signing for Berwick. Absolute madness from Edinburgh not to bring him back after investing in him last season.
  2. Lasse’s form after injury was extremely worrying, wouldn’t surprise me to see his average to drop to 4.00 again. Bastian has a lot more potential imo
  3. Correct, 2.5% discount is 0.075 which means his average should be 2.93 when rounded. An average of 2.92 would mean a 2.66% discount Manipulated to suit.
  4. Made that point yesterday, can’t believe that there hasn’t been more said on it. They’re over the limit as far as I’m concerned.
  5. Personally, I disagree and think that’s it’s just been manipulated to suit. The final issue of averages shows 3.00 regardless if that is 2.995 or 3.004 before it’s rounded. The GB reduction is applied for team building purposes at the start of a new season, therefore the final issued average is what should be used before reduction. Edit: in addition, Ablitts average is exactly 3.00 when calculated so should never be rounded to 2.92
  6. Would be happy with Riss but don’t think he will be in UK next season. Would rather we went with Bastian and a new 5.00 than Lasse and Thomas. Makes no sense to bring Bastian over this season then not use him next season.
  7. Needs to seriously sort out his away form, was unacceptable last season. Should be fine as a number 3 in a weaker league
  8. Great signing. Very impressed with Scott’s words, you can tell he’s highly motivated and the riders will enjoy working with him.
  9. Good signing, especially on his average.
  10. It only worked when they were able to sign another heat leader in place of a second string, wouldn’t have won the league with Nowak
  11. Clegg struggled at number 7 last season but would probably average around 4 in a weaker league. If we sign him then we need to optimise the opportunity of having an extra couple of points to use, we could give Mickie a couple of meetings then bring Bastian / Jacob in when Cleggs average drops
  12. It also shows that his rolling average is 2.32 as 2021 meetings should no longer contribute to it. I’m sure the BSPA won’t allow nearly 2 points to be shaved off his average for team building purposes though.
  13. Wouldn’t even swap Dayle for Etheridge
  14. Wouldn’t say Josh’s average is much more attractive, it’s only 0.29 less than he started the season on. Riss is 7.35 so not quite the sub 7 you stated but I would definitely have him back on that average. I agree that Kye would make a good number 4 but there’s no way the averages will allow 3 heat leaders above him, think it’s best for him to move away for a season or two. We’ve been too loyal to the same riders over the last couple of years, it’s time for an overhaul.
  15. Sounds like a great idea, let’s publicly out any rider that refuses to sign for us. I’m sure the rider we end up with will feel brilliant knowing he was 3rd/4th choice. Muppet Dayle isn’t the issue… yes he’s not CL level but the way the team was built at the start of the season is the issue. We were loyal to riders that showed signs of improving but have let us down. We have had a horrific season with injuries and Cook’s has had his personal issues but it’s still no excuse for how poor we’ve been at home. Big changes needed for next season, possibly only Lasse / Paco back.
  16. Not surprising, only time he gets by someone is when he rides through them.
  17. Fair enough… Edinburgh getting beat is about the only thing your lot have ever had to celebrate.
  18. Surprised you haven’t been head hunted for a team managers job yet.
  19. Did putting Jacob in heat 14 have a bearing on the teams performance? Maybe Adam prefers riding at 3 or 4? It’s a bit unfair to insinuate that Scott didn’t pay attention, I’m sure a lot more thought goes into it than you think.
  20. Think you’re being over critical, Hook won his R/R heat and was never guaranteed to be in 15.
