  1. 6.26 would bring them in bob on 39 points. Its not alot & I am not sure who would be available.
  2. I was going to say the same but you beat me to it. Possibly the most underrated rider in the class at the moment. I wonder which Championship club will pick him up at the end of August?
  3. I have been told the same. I hope this is the case as it would be my closest track as its only 20 miles away, failing that its 60ish to Oxford & Iwade or 90ish to Peterborough.
  4. So a seven day ban when he is not scheduled to ride in the UK. The people I feel sorry for are the Restauranteurs of Wroclaw as I understand that he is likely to have food poisoning (or a reoccurrence of an old niggling injury) for Ipswich away and Leicester away.
  5. How about you grade riders instead. A-D A are 8.01 and above, B are 6.51-8.00 C are 4.51-6.5 and D are 4.5 and below. You then make up a team with 1A, 2B;s, 2C's and a D.
  6. I've seen Ashton a couple of times this season. He and Max Perry (I think) will be the couple of 15/16 year old riders who will get picked up once they can race in the Championship. They will be a steel on their averages.
  7. I'm looking at popping up for a couple of meetings during the summer. Does anyone fancy splitting the cost of a taxi to the track from the train station?
  8. If as posted elsewhere Artem is selective in where he riders and is likely to be injured for Leicester away and Ipswich away will this lead to British Speedway adopting a squad system in the future? Benefits are you may get more world class stars prepared to commit to a limited number of meetings, giving the public more stars to watch, downside is not the same 1-7 each week, but lets be honest you very rarely see the same 1-7 ride each week as it stands.
  9. Does the Peterborough start marshal know the rules? Home riders are getting away with blue murder. Hans Andersen no where near the tapes. Does not call them in in gate order. He is pointless at the start.
  10. I understand there could be a couple of other tracks that Laguta is unlikely to be see at.
  11. Popped up (if that is the right expression) on the 8:20 train from London for the recent Leicester meeting and although the track wasn't great due to the drought like conditions it was an enjoyable meeting. I have to say the stadium should be the blueprint for any future development, on old industrial land, simple yet functional stadium with great viewing from anywhere. I hope over time they build a ticket office, maybe a bar and better toilets but everything was more than good enough. Also special mention to the home & away fans who made an old bird from London feel very welcome.
  12. My prediction is that if Plymouth don't win they will make some team changes
  13. As someone who loves the NDL & Champ and would like nothing better than to see young British riders progress I cannot understand why the Thompson Twins never get European experience. Is it a case of their face doesn't fit or something else? It appears to have benefited other riders of a similar age.
