  1. Teams getting sorted now and most are heading for one or two 2 pointers at reserve. Hoping now the Bears can squeeze Busch into the number six race jacket. He'll clean up. I wouldn't be disappointed if he did return, but I'd rather we go down a new fresh route.
  2. I'm guessing now, 3 from last year and 4 new riders.
  3. Thomas Jorgensen 7.45 Hugh SkidmoreS 6.84 Paul Starke 6.62 / Charles Wright 6.59 Kasper Lykke Nielsen 5.16 Jonas B Andersen 6.30 Tobias Bucsh 4.66 Lee Payne 2.68
  4. OK I wasn't sure either, just thought he was similar to Summers who also missed the visa carry-on because of some clause with parents or marrying a British girl and settling here or something.
  5. Doesn't Skidmore now hold a British passport? If not Roynon or Bradley Dean fit for Heeps.
  6. David Bellego 7.63 Cameron Heeps 5.07 Hugh SkidmoreS 6.84 Jonas B Andersen 6.30 Thomas Jorgensen 7.45 Tobias Bucsh 4.66 Reserve 2.00
  7. I use the stand every week and its in a good spot, esp watching what goes on in the pits between races. Cant understand why the brothers get so much stick. You hear stories of how they are at the track almost everyday working hard, other than that you hear nothing. Only thing that I can remember is when they had a go at some parents whos kids were throwing stones near the cars and someone been told to stop playing the drum in the stand. If this is where this "brother grimm" tag has come from then some people need to get a grip as that's pretty pathetic.
  8. Not all Redcar supporters have suffered. Table aside the racing has been top notch for a number of seasons. A solid foundation to build on, Roll on 2017
  9. That's why Redcar have the most exciting speedway week in, week out. Last heat decider's guaranteed.
  10. 7.59am post. Am I thinking you were up all night working on this...
  11. Oky doky, cheers. Shame, a very good rider. So how would he get a place back in the future?
  12. Is Gino Manzares not riding this year or just dropped?
  13. Confirmed. Lasse Bjerre 8.30 Jonas B Anderson: 5.60
  14. Also a neutral and looking forward to Thursday. Never have time to get away from the MPA, so watching a fours meeting is something I haven't seen since the Qualifiers at Cleveland Park. BRING BACK THE FOUR TEAM QUALIFIERS.... Predictions.... Edinburgh could come down to Sedgman, who though an ex-Bear hasn't rode as well as was expected on his last return visits. Ipswich, same as Edinburgh with Covatti, who needs to up his game on his latest visit Newcastle All their team have had good meetings and bad at the MPA, If they all fire, don't write them off. Somerset. Wright, is the kingpin. He (on paper) is the weakest of the team, but is pretty good around our track. He will pick up points where he's not expected to and will be the difference, so my moneys on Somerset. Its going to be close though.... Cant wait.
  15. Just reading on the updates site. Let me just say Plymouth didn't "bottle it" but contributed to a fantastic meeting. Both teams gave it their all, the racing was brilliant. The best race track in Britain
  16. The Premier pages don't need closing down, just ban all the Jocks.
  17. A week ago Redcar would have given any team a challenge, esp' when Berge was included. Not a very fair post to come up with since though.
  18. I think some posters are taking this opportunity to do no more than build up there post count, and will continue to go around in the same circles for the near future.
  19. No they haven't. If the tables were turned and Somerset were given the win, could you say Edinburgh, Peterborough, Glasgow etc would have been cheated. In the heat in question Redcar would probably have gained a 8-1 with either Kus or Robson in it. At the end of the day Redcar will finish mid to bottom of the table. where teams finish in and around them is irrelevant.
  20. Mistakes happen, but cheat is a dirty word. Redcar never at any stage arranged to manipulate the rules in their favour on purpose. Even after the crash the heat before Im pretty sure Robson would have won the heat anyway as the Rebels pair in that heat were not exactly tearing up the track all meeting. To be honest I'd have been happy with the tactical been taken away, calling the heat a 5-1 and declaring the meeting a draw. From what I've heard the only person to question whether Kus was legal pre meeting, was the Redcar manager, but both the ref and the Somerset manager agreed it should be Kus. Mistakes happen, just like Kurtz going through the tapes in heat 13. Stop using the word cheat. Nobody cheated.
  21. Thinking about this, wouldn't the Bears manager phone the ref at the start of the race to inform him Kus is r/r and will be in black and white. Its there fore, up to the ref, there and then, to check that that is legal ?
  22. Anyway whatever happens, it was a cracking meeting. Best wishes to Robson and Wright. Though they both seemed OK, they will be stiff tomorrow I bet
