Redcar V Scunthorpe Sgb Cl

Ben Barker R/R -
Nick Morris threw a punch at barker a few weeks back (Prob hurt Morris more as helmets are harder than knuckles). Never realised there was Barker/Aussie history, makes sence now, Morris has his dummy still at the MPA waiting for him.

Redcar V Workington Sgp Cl
cheekycobra replied to Norfolk Bear's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The Bears got a draw at worky a few weeks ago and that was with Perks having the flu and scoring 0. The match will hinge on Proctor and Jorgensen i'd say rather than the reserves. Going to be close. -
I'd also add that Redcar since 2006 must be one of the clubs who have dismissed the least riders overall (not counting injuries / retirements) some might say they held onto some for to long.

Cant say or some blabbermouth with post "whodunit"

Im trying to watch a box set on the tele, but theres been more twists and turns on here

Because then I'm guessing the teams averages would change and Halls average would have dropped.

News moves on while your typing.

Will it be 1 replacement or 2? I wonder if the club has had new news on how Busch is doing? Busch 4.66, Hall 3.53 and a team remainder of 0.48 makes 8.67 for two riders. Personally I'd keep Bucsh/Garcia and bring Ayres in.

Fernando Garcia / Toby Busch

Sure I read somewhere Busch is trying to get a special boot made to give his ankle more support. So could be back sooner than later if it works OK. -
Redcar V Berwick Ch 4th May

If a 2 point junior replaced Hall, would he ride at 6 (replacing Hall) or 7 (with Perks moving up to 6). If Perks moves to 6 he would have a lot harder rides and could loose a few points a meeting due to it. -

Liking the way you sneakily covered that post over with the use off the word "rider" instead of racer -
Redcar Vs Ipswich 20/04/2017
cheekycobra replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Redcar this season, to me, have a Bradford Dukes / Hull Vikings feel about us. Barker and Garrity are very Loram / Screen ish. Going to win some, going to loose some, but our opposition should know that the Bears are going to put up a battle. and entertain, whatever the result. -

I did notice Coty only had one bike with him last Thursday, so that will be the reason. If he can bag 3-4 points tonight that could make all the difference. -
Redcar V Peterborough - Koc - 13/4/17
cheekycobra replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I don't think Redcar as a club did anything more than big up the meeting to their own fans to get people through the turnstiles. That part of things went pretty well as there was a pretty good crowd in. Overall Busch and Perks would have made a difference, but only to make the overall score closer. The Bears were out of it after heat 3. Good luck to the panthers in the cup. Revenge for the Bears in the league come June -
Championship Teams Comparison Time
cheekycobra replied to balderdash&piffle's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Just an observation, but I had to giggle at Ipswich fans upset about trolling, when the Peterborough page is onto page 142 and full of Ipswich posters. -
Agree with Matty T and C Kerr been the best 2 riders around the track for excitement, but Bellego and Bjerre came very very close to them. Saying that what your saying doesn't add to your argument as you cant compare the track today with the first two seasons as these two riders will possibly never ride it again. The overall point I was saying is that you said there is only an inside line these days, but you are wrong on that point as the outside line was very much back in use last season. Bellego rode it constantly and eventually it became the fastest line which others followed. I cant really comment on turns 1 and 2 as I sit in the stand,,other than I will stick to my original comment that whenever Skidders was on gate 3 or 4 he was 9 times out of ten at the back going into turn 1 but in front out of turn 2. Anyway, if the track stays the same, its going to be fireworks next season with the team we have put together. Roll on March. UTB. Just to add, Bellego was always the one who was learning the track, passing on info to the other riders and geeing them up and played a captains roll all season, compared to Lasse who preferred to sit on his deck chair in his corner of the pits checking his phone between races instead of been the captain, until he was dropped of that position then got the hump about it.

That's only accurate up until the 2014 season. In 2015 the outside lines came back when the reported boulders/concrete or whatever it was, was removed from turn 3. In 2016 turns 1 and 2 were great out of gate 4 with the rider usually passing the other three around the boards (Skidders speciality) . Bends 3 and 4 were awesome with esp Bellego dialing in the outside line with the others following in his groove. I keep reading that the track needs working on to work with the new team (usually from those who haven't been for a few years), but the lines are already there waiting for them.....trust me...

Just to add the figures... Jason Garrity 8.55 Ben Barker 7.91 Charles Wright 6.59 Jonas B Andersen 6.30 Tobias Busch 4.66 Richard Hall 3.53 Ellis Perks 2.38 39.92

Last season the reserves were named before the top 5 was complete. It looks like this time the top 5 were put together with the reserves fitting in to what was left... the correct way to go. That's not saying the reserves are poor either., Deffo a match for whats been named so far. Very very happy with the team.
