  1. Can Everything will be taken into consideration. Redcar CAN stage this meeting and will do a good job. Nowt to doubt. Seen Peterborough on TV, great track and seen some great racing, not all the time though. Seen some great racing at Redcar too, so have you. How do you know it wont be great at the fours. The fours is like the world cup, riders up their game, Same will happen at Redcar. 100% sure it will be a cracker.
  2. Probably last season. The Bears were in the hunt until the end when injures (having one or no Redcar riders in the line-up) took there toll. That and throwing away a couple of home meetings mid season. Having a track that most riders like and are prepared to have a go makes it harder for the home team. Some riders have tracks they hate and don't put the effort in. I think Peterborough last season was a good example. Both sides were evenly matched but all seven Panthers put the effort in and beat the Bears twice and took a draw in the cup and league one including Lunna as a guest who always does well at Redcar. Yet the Bears still finished higher in the league.
  3. Not only a neutral track, but a track that most riders love to ride. You see it week in week out. opposition riders up there game which makes Redcar have to up theirs. As an example Aussie riders and saying to Redcars new rider Jordan Stewart "you will love the track".
  4. Theres that word "us" again. I think he didn't want to ride for Havvy. As you were a Havvy basher at the time I don't understand how you are swapping things around to try and make your opinion correct and blaming the rider for doing the same thing you were doing.
  5. Do you mean "us" as in the fans, That's not true. I think he fell out with our promotion at the time.
  6. Another English teacher making the rounds. I though Tsunami was bad enough With the crowds expected We might have to use Redcar like the good old days for a spot of sand racing.
  7. A free Parmo and a lemon top for desert on entry and I reckon 10000 to 15000 through the turnstiles easily.
  8. When they said the new asset would be in the top 5, did they mean MBA maybe . That would make more sense and make the numbers add up.
  9. 5.20 and 5.00. both (whoever the second one is) should be capable of holding those figures. If they come close I'm sure most Bears fans will be happy. Like we've been told, its about building for the future. Don't worry, I have faith that it will be a good season
  10. From the little I've seen of MBA,and some of his results, I think he will do OK. Said to be better than JBA. You have to remember the new rules mean we got him on a bargain 5.20 and not the 7 we would have had to use last season.
  11. Yeah that's what I thought, but the stats don't add up now. Cant see us been to far short of reaching 42.50 so maybe we are miles off the mark. What we lose out on the three heat leaders we should make up for at second string and reserve.
  12. I cant see any team having three heat leaders unless you class Vissing at Glasgow, Covatti at Ipswich, Wright at Sheffield or Ellis at Lakeside. So JBA wont be a heat leader really, just a strong second string with Kus or whoever as second heat leader. I thought I had the team roughly sussed, until a rumour came out that the new asset wont be at reserve. We will see in time
  13. Yeah Stewart. &*^% knows where Andrews came from.
  14. Four riders signed = Total: 24.03 Remaining: 18.47 The second asset rumoured to be Jordan Stewart on 5 (now said to be riding in the top 5) means (with Pijper riding at 7) the second reserve has to be between 4.20 and 5.00 (take your pick from Ayres, Garcia, Greaves, Busch etc leaves between 8.81 and 9.23 for the last rider. Either the Bears have a new number 1 or are going to be well short of the 42.50 limit. I.m confused with the average Danes and Swede's are given (said to be between 5.20 and 7.00, So maybe the new asset is a Dane/Swede on 7, which would fit better in the top 5 and would leave 6-7ish for a second string ie BWD/Berge. #confused.com
  15. I think that was half the problem. Some big ego's on here who don't like newbies coming on their patch
  16. True, but most of it is from non-Redcar fans though
  17. Have to admit though fair play. Who'd have thought such a simple red herring to keep people guessing and hide the secret of who the big reveals at the crimbo party would be would cause such a kerfuffle.
  18. Just saying, but that's exactly the way you have come across for years now...
  19. ^^^^^^^^ Like I said, here come the fun police.
  20. If they cant tell the difference between a bit of banter and some of the other spiteful garbage that some people post then I wouldn't worry about it.
  21. Barker did the same last season. Posted he wasn't signed up and was looking for a club had everyone's team predictions in uproar. Then what happened...
  22. Looks like the fun police are coming out the woodwork. A bit of fun and a few red herrings, so what.
