  1. If thats the way it looks to you, then whos the kiddie PS...How do you take a stand back.
  2. ....................... FREE THE REDCAR FOUR ..........................
  3. Thats the problem tho that the Redcar fans are saying. Watson has been included because he is a very good rider even tho he hasnt acctually rode for Glasgow. But for the tournament as a whole, its best to have the best riders in the competition. The 4's tho Redcar have done nothing wrong. We were penciled into the original line up. But only through bad luck and injuries did we miss out. If you want to go by the rules that have been brought in that the 4's (as a competion) should have the best teams and riders as seems to have happened in the pairs then pick any 4 from Havvy,Grieves, Kerr Trez and Auty and Id say there you have a team who if they wont win the competition will be there or there abouts. I did read somewhere that one of the reasons Redcar wont be in the 4's would be the cost of re-printing the program, the program will be re-printed anyway. Whose going to read old news from weeks ago and what would be wrong (if they did use the old program) printing out a 4 page insertion to go inside it with the new line up. Teams like Rye house will have changed anyway. Going back to last year, if I remember right Redcar were niether in the Pairs or the 4's as we were a new club and it was fair that the established team were in these competitions which was fair enough. But this season we see Birmingham in both. REDCAR has done bugger-all in trying to cheat or swing things our way yet feel let down by those above Come on Havvy and Greivesy... Win the pairs for the Bears (catchy rhyme there for Redcar supporters )and show everyone that the 4's will be a total farce without some of the BEST riders in the premier league been aloud to ply their trade . These competions want the best riders..... My Arse

  7. The weather looks wet for friday, but clear for sat (or is it to early to tell? ). Hope the drainage is sorted to get most of the water away.....Trust in Glyn
  8. I would think you can watch the practise, well most of it at least. The gates should be open around 12.30 if not sooner (thats a guess but prob' 12 ish)
  9. Former Boro Bears star Paul Bentley is considering an entry in the New Year Classic grass track on the South Tees Motorsports Park shale. Darlington-based Bentley is keen to borrow a bike for the event on Saturday December 20 (practice noon, first race 2pm). Rob Grant snr, Rob Grant jnr, David Howe, Paul Cooper and Tony Atkins are among the confirmed entries in the 500cc class, while organiser Glyn Taylor is hoping to add South Tees Silver Helmet winner Richard Hall too.
  10. "IT'S GRANTY V GRANTY Rob Grant Junior and Rob Grant Senior will meet in a father v. son showdown at South Tees Motorsports Park on December 30. For the pair are both confirmed entries in the 500cc category in the New Year Classic 'grasstrack' meeting at the home of the Redcar Bears. The meeting, organised by Bears co-promoter Glyn Taylor and Pickering DMC, will see grasstrack action on a shale circuit. Taylor had hoped to put on a speedway meeting but only one permit a month can be issued outside the regular season, and they have all been taken. As Speedway Star went to press, there had been a big entry for the 250cc, 350cc and pre-75 classes, but the 500cc riders were dragging their heels a little. However, Taylor remains hopeful that both David Howe and Richard Hall will enter. Paul Cooper - who played a starring role in the first ever speedway meeting at the track last April - is a confirmed starter in the 500cc class. Practise gets underway at noon, with the first race at 2 pm."
  11. No it doesnt, it depends on the riders individual style. Name me a rider who leg trails at one track then not at another.
  12. It worked well enough on Thurs. Come and see Matty Trez next season...it works OK for him.... There should be a training school for all speedway riders on how to leg-trail
  13. The forecast I have seen is rain until 1-2 pm then dry for the rest of the day....its overcast and windy now but no rain...Touch wood, but it should be a go-er
  14. Yes...Stockton road (also known as the wilderness road)...found this the other day while surfing.... http://www.multimap.com/map/photo.cgi?clie....x=6&upleft.y=2 it loks like it shows half the track still there , but multimap thingy is a few years old now.
