  1. Sarcasm....hmmmm save that for your best pal Tsunami. Doesn't beat facts though...... Just to add Wilko scored 5 double figures in those "10" meetings. Just saying that when the track was prepared the rider did his job.
  2. Not sure where all this Wilko bashing is coming from. As far as I remember most of Wilkos falls were in the "dodgy track" period. Looking at the records he only fell/retired twice though-out July to Oct. Don't see the logic either in Why Graverson would be a cert' to drop his average, which he attained riding at "second string", but is now riding at reserve ..... If the Bears are to finish bottom half I'm pretty sure Berwick and Rye House will be scrappy side by side with us...... ..... Prob' Newcastle as well
  3. Dont think that makes it right really. Do you, as they say "put it on the line " at work?In the heat of the moment, with the ever growing number of injury's etc, I just thought the original post was OTT, and disrespectful. No worry's anyway.
  4. Your post doesn't offend me, but I think it does offend every rider up and down the country from Edinburgh to Plymouth who have raced this and every season. To ask riders to show "PRIDE" is probably the rudest comment ive ever read. Especially and including last nights Newcastle team. A SPEEDWAY supporter who follows Redcar.
  5. The afternoon forcasted showers haven't turned up. fingers crossed the rain forcasted for 7-8ish arrives late.
  6. From the time the Bandits named their team in December until a wheel was turned Dyer is mentioned once. Only when the season started did you realise the goof. Sorry but its sour grapes.
  7. Exellent result for the Bears.I'd have said it was 50-50 pre-season who would be best with Edberg and Dyer. I don't remember reading pre-season that Berwick have made the wrong choice, or that Dyer would improve so much. To late now that the horse has bolted.
  8. Wishful thinking, but the silencer issue was only in heat 15. You could hear the difference in the race. It either cracked or fell off. Think 2 points to 1 was a fair result in the end. The Bears scores of 10,9,8,7,7 and 6 show that the Bears were more solid through-out to take the win. Barker and Heeps stood out for Ipswich, but other than the first heat Barker never made a gate , hence the bonus points. Some good racing at times (through squinting from the dust). Best wishes to micky D. I took my eye off Dyer in heat 3 and was watching Tungate who im sure was hit by 1 of the other riders. The crash was very similar to the Sayfutdinov / Jonsson crash in the GP.
  9. The weather aside, this was a great meeting. credit to all riders for giving it a go. Seeing riders riding the very top of the banking on 3 and 4 in those conditions was spectacular.
  10. An extra point................ Yeah , go on then ............... We'll have it
  11. Dont think Redcar have flown Nielsen in. More he's putting himself in the shop window. Wilko had shown a slight improvement recently, and will slot well into a reserve place.
  12. Id like to see the Bears team tweeked, moving Kus out of 5 (possibly swaping with Skiddy).
  13. Ive read this same post from other teams up and down the country so far this year. Could an answer be in the cold weather, a cold track, cold tires? Just a notion.
  14. We all rate Newcastles team, but the geordies like to hear people say it to boost their ego
  15. Very happy to have Diggles back. Said it before, no big hitters but solid in depth, plenty to improve upon and a good reserve partnership. Roll on Mar.......................... erm April.
  16. They can run....... but they cant hide. Anyway..... really hope Diggles signs. Along side Micky D at reserve is a great combo. Im very happy with the way this team has been put together. No big hitters but very very solid from top to bottom.
  17. Except maybe our usual away win at Leicester
