  1. I still can’t get my head around the idea that streaming is the answer, when all that does is take away the spectators paying their entrance money at the tracks
  2. Women playing at football was the lead on BBC 6 o’clock news.
  3. Wasn’t Dan a Bees mascot when Bomber was there?
  4. Just imagine what the figure might be for a PROPER World Championship Final, like there used to be before this wretched GP series (OOFC) was dumped on us.
  5. The GB v Soviet Russia Test Match at Brandon in 1964, preceded by the Golden Helmet Match Races between Nigel Boocock and Ove Fundin, was included in that night’s BBC “Sportsview” programme.
  6. Pictures not as bad this week as in previous meetings, but the talkers….. OMG. She gets worse meeting by meeting (that’s not Brady Kurtz), Kelvin is erm Kelvin, Scott not too bad, but sometimes overtakes himself (National Showground). Chris Louis shows he would be an improvement.
  7. Televising speedway meetings has eliminated the chance of having such anticipation of a live appearance
  8. Woffinden shouldn’t be mentioned in the same sentence as the great Ivan Mauger
  9. TJ rode his socks off TJ rode out of his skin or…. TJ rode out of his socks (KT)
  10. Surprised Kelvin hasn’t mentioned how long the riders have taken at the tapes each race
  11. Saw him recently at the Grasstrack at Dalton Barracks, handing out Brummies leaflets
  12. What!??? Did you want Fundin, Mauger, Tony Rick banned to give others a chance? No, they were looked on as legends.
  13. Oh! Hardly unbelievable though? Thought it was some dramatic happening that was… unbelievable! Thanks, pal!
  14. Not to mention that the meeting is on tv too. I’ve said all along that televising UK meetings keeps paying spectators away.
