  1. Would anyone post it on here Lisa? Of course there is objections, doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out where those objections are coming from.
  2. These away meetings mean absolutely 0 to the outcome of the league standings. The longer they can drag this out the greater the chance we won't get a replacement in before the 28th and be stuck with RR for the playoffs, meaning Claus, Ace and Lee taking the RR rides. How can a Governing body have the promoters of rival clubs making decisions on who can and can't sign for an opposition team. The PDA came out of the madness of the BDO and look where both parties are now. So maybe it's time to say thank you goodbye.
  3. I 100% agree that the rulebook is a mess and laughable at times, but you cant foresee the unforeseeable. If a ridiculously wealthy gentleman/person/toaster had money to burn and liked the smell of burning methanol and told any GP rider that he'll pay them £1500 a point and £10 a mile you'd have any team packed with them before you knew it.
  4. Bartoz Smarslek is on £1200/1500 a point you find the team that can afford £22,500 a night for one rider !!! plus I'm sure he's not going to have a sign on fee of a bottle of Irn Bru and Scotch pie. Rules aren't written for eventualities that haven't been forseen. But we're talking about a number 2 riding in the 2nd Division in Poland who's going well round Peterborough. So again if the alleged teams representatives are dragging their heels because they're concerned that one rider could stop their team finishing top. He cannot drop into reserve and get 7 rides, he is replacing another pole who had scored in every one of his last 21 heats!!
  5. They Key word is Assessed, "To judge or decide the amount, value l, quality or importance of something" But the judging criteria is based on "wether they have ridden in Poland, Sweden or Denmark" if they have they get a 5 Or Having never ridden in Poland, Sweden or Denmark..... It's a 4. Nothing to do with wether they rode as a heat leader or reserve, nothing to do with what actual league did they ride in Poland, nothing to do with their averages they have obtained in their foreign league, nothing to do with how did they perform in their countries individual competition. Probably devised by the same people that decided out of a potential 30+ meetings in the championship this year only 50% of those will count towards a "calculated match average"
  6. Emil had a Coventry Average from before. Again the rules are massively vague, but a riders average can be reassessed after 4 years out of the league and I believe if 1 season out Injured.
  7. Rybnik won the first leg against Ostrovia yesterday, so still matches to go.
  8. The even funnier part is any rider coming in to a team anywhere in the league that hasn't ridden in the championship is going to get a 7-11 match rehearsal that will do absolutely nothing to their average for team building in 2024.
  9. Losing 3 riders I can't see Glasgow getting anywhere close. The targets got to be, get it as close to 40 as possible with a view to maybe visiting again in the playoffs.
  10. He has two bad meetings scores 3 and 4 I think and they immediately got their feathers ruffled at Rzeseow. Their in the top spot for the playoffs and Marcin is their number 1. The financial benefit from going one league up is supposedly incredible so they want every tool at their disposal to give it there best shot. Marcin has been quoted the reason he was here was to improve his riding skills which he has most definitely done, but it's crap that we lose him at what is the pinnacle point of our season too.
  11. I think if you were looking to strengthen, up until the Berwick home meeting eyes would've been firmly in a different position in the team with no replacements realistically available.
  12. Yes please take probably the most consistent number 2 and give us someone who's never ridden the British Championship tracks. Marcin has scored in everyone of his last 21 heats. His scoring may not look as impressive as the riders doing the 2,6,7 shuffle but they don't have Bomber Harris paired up with them. He scored relatively well at all our away meetings and as can be seen with our regular visits to the northern tracks Marcins performance went from diabolical to a 3 heat win in Berwick and a respectable 6 in Edinburgh. Losing him is of absolute no benefit to us.
  13. Apologies it was a Shovelar and friends fishing attempt. As can be seen they jumped on it like a fat kid on a happy meal. I will now return to speaking the truth only.
  14. Not quite but was up with the Dumfries Glasgow Tigers faithful in bend 1. I don't even think Broc has turned a bike since the California gig with Bewley and friends.
  15. Glasgow are obviously going to use this to strengthen the team, especially since Lee's taken off the divers weight belt and getting the passes going. Heard last night some polish riders 2015 Leicester lions Average 5.64 has been reassessed at a 5 due to the time out the league I've never heard of him Szymon Wozni something ?? But again will probably struggle on the more technical tracks.
  16. If he went out of gate 4 after August, there was only one place he was going.
  17. The "Marcin was a mistake" brigade have gone "f"ING quiet recently, 2021 - @ Edinburgh scores 1 @ Berwick Scores 0 While riding at reserve 2023 - @ Edinburgh Scores 3 then 6 @ Berwick scores 6 then 11 Scores, 6 at Scunthorpe, 5 at Redcar and 6 at Oxford, his 2 at Birmingham should've been 5 if he had his dirt deflector on. All while riding at #2 alongside Chris "scoring points for fun" Harris. Probably one of the most sensible #2 signings this year.
  18. Complin passed more tonight than I've seen all season, new engine came just in time let's see how he goes tomorrow.
  19. I'm not going to go through all the Scunthorpe stats for his heats, but Poole did reserve switch him in heat 9, so he was getting heat 2 Vs #6/7 heat 4 Vs #7/5 and heat 9 Vs #3/4. His "Poole Form" was manufactured because of the heats he was in against. Now before I end up getting a "Ablitts number 1 fan" tattoo, it was more the BS that went with it with the "developing youth" Nonsense that got under my skin.
  20. Riding RR for Marcin, he's riding for Rezeszow in Poland on Friday.
  21. Apologies, he wasn't "needed to score" any more than zero. Of his 38 meetings he scored 0, 15 times, 39.47% of his meetings, so your right in the fact he scored in "most" His total accumulated points in the championship across those 38 meetings was 44 points. 8 of those points were scored when an opposition rider fell, retired or got excluded. His rolling average would be around 1.46 for all meetings. But here's where I'm trying to make my point. He didnt get the opportunity to improve. He got the chance in heat 8, 6 out of the 38 chances...... 15% , which also matched the number of times that he actually got 4 rides. Again all the nonsense of "apprenticeships" and "giving the youngsters a chance" makes me gag. He was there for one reason and that was to have 7 riders on the declaration sheet. Thankfully at Scunthorpe he's now actually getting a chance. *Edit, just double checked from 14 championship meetings this year scored 36 points.
  22. Nathan was deliberately used to allow Poole to have King, Worrall and Lawson. He was required to score 0, he never road in heat 8, only had 3 rides and reserve switched from heat 12-9 to give Zach Cook/Ben Cook 2 shots at the opposition's 7. Was complete tactical genius from Poole. This year with the drop to 40 points everyone except Poole have a 2 pointer and now your seeing who of the two pointers are competing. Very surprised Edinburgh stuck with Dale, they've got a whole NDL team to try out and see who could make it.
  23. And most importantly Marcin's won his last 3 heat 8's Vs Worral and Anders X2. He's improving week on week.
