  1. Don’t think Bailey will be back, on a 4 and a bit average I’m guessing it’s a 2 pointer going in at 7.
  2. If they didn’t it would be another talent lost to Poland.
  3. He’ll be the hottest 2 pointer around after the Scottish open and silver helmet displays. Getting him and his dad at 6 and 7 will be bloody interesting for whoever gets them.
  4. Don’t think you’ll find many riders that will race in the Ekstraliga and a championship club in the U.K. only leaving out the premier league. regardless of what happens with the league and playoffs and all the “Facenas are throwing money desperately trying to win the league.” Statements. I genuinely couldn’t give a hoot, because thanks to them we now get to watch Ben Basso fly around Ashfield for 16 league matches and that’s worth every single penny of the season ticket.
  5. Difference this year will be who’s at 3 and 5.
  6. Wonder if they’ll be boo’ing him next year ??
  7. Will masters stay? I know he’s been there since 2016, but fitting him or Nick Morris in anywhere is going to be tight.
  8. This is about as accurate as your “Marcin was not and will not come back” statement. Richie lawson is the highest performing out of the 3 heat leaders at Poole.
  9. Dillon was good fun to see round Ashfield, he took the Basso lines. But as mentioned between 5 and 6 is going to be difficult to slot in.
  10. Awkward average, I think it’ll be two 5 pointers at 2 and 4 Dillon’s sitting on 5.47.
  11. For sure, because when you lower the standard of riders, more people will flock to the stadium, plus think of the cost savings : • only need to power half the floodlights since it’s a lower standard of riders hurtling round the track, they don’t need to see so well. •no need to maintain or replace air fences or high impact foam fences, these can be replaced with all weather footballs held together with cello tape, cause we all now lower scoring riders crash far softer. • no need for those expensive ambulances we can just have “ Big Dave the brickie” who completed a 1 week first aid course when he was 13 in the sea cadets and will provide the required medical care for 20 quid a night and a pie. for those who geographically live 200+ miles from the nearest Premiership club we’ll happily keep the likes of Sam Masters, Chris Harris, Nick Morris etc and pay the extra 5 quid to see them race.
  12. The more matches the more accurate the average, I believe it should be every single match including cup matches and playoffs.
  13. I’m pretty sure in one of Marcins interviews at the end of the 21 season he promised he would practice on the kiddies training tracks out in Poland before heading back here.
  14. I’ve heard they bought Dan Bewley a flat in the west end of Glasgow ready for the move up to the premier in 2024, have made themselves the largest shareholder in the methanol supplier to speedway and are going to cut off supplies to any team that looks likely to catch up with them, lastly are paying Sam Masters £100,000 per point he can take off his average so they can sign him for the reserve spot around July.
  15. With a reduced average and one less team to fill I would think that the riders on or around a 7 will potentially struggle to get a ride.
  16. If you get the wrong 2pt men your season is over as you can’t get anyone from the main body down there. im pretty sure the majority of teams will be taking one 2 pointer this season.
  17. This year they got paid for 20 league meetings, 2023 is scheduled for 32 league meetings that’s 12 more pay days?? How many do they need to make it worth while.
  18. No Team will take two 2 pointers, that’s 8 heats of potential 0’s you’re looking at. Poole managed to carry one with three 0’s per meeting and making the points up with their number 6.
  19. Great Season of viewing, hope they offer the same good value annual package for 2023
  20. “Fortunate” …… it was a speedway miracle, just have a look at the result when Drew and Nathan were at reserve against Leicester at home, coincidentally Zachs form took a dip after, resulting in scoring less than Drew in every meeting following this until the July cut off and then Boom slots into reserve and starts scoring for fun. What a turn in luck for Poole. Sometimes all you need is the right things happening at the right time. Even more crazy in his last 16 meetings he’s scoring 8.5 points on average per meeting so getting him on a 4.9 for next year is probably the biggest bargain in the league.
  21. 100% there are clubs that are expected to win and if your not performing your out. Bit less pressure and he’ll be sorted.
  22. I don’t think it was the one race that caused him to be like that, he was carried through September and October at 2. correct me if I’m wrong but he was from the same rising star crop as Tom Brennan and Leon Flint and clearly hasn’t made an impact in the main body of his team like those two have. heat 14 was his chance to show his abilities to beat two similar riders and contribute to the team total and he didn’t.
