How many Stand alone matches did the bullets run in 2022? Or was it mostly doubling up.

Has anyone heard or seen of a Jubilee cup final match or was it all just a dream?

Thank goodness we have 9 weeks empty to fit in a potential Semi final and Final of KOC Final of the BSN Trophy and that’s if they were all to be done in May June July. still got August and September to get some paint on the walls get my speedway friends round and watch that stuff dry for a Fridays night entertainment.

I’m genuinely thinking of looking at all the away matches at Armadale and going to watch them too. will definitely be down in Berwick for our away meetings

I genuinely hope they find some individual events to fill the timetable since the premiership has the pairs running and 2 home and away.

There are 4 Fridays in May Glasgow has 1 meeting scheduled for the entire month. The World Cup of speedway is making a welcome return and will be run once every 3 years………… let’s schedule Glasgow vs Poole on Friday the 28th July !!!!!!!! come on people???

Completely agree when all 3 improved there averages from last year.

Any ideas of the fixtures list coming, got summer holidays to book Premier leagues is already out and I understand adding in 2 extra teams must be very challenging.

I think I’m the only non - Birmingham supporter who likes the look of there team sedgeman turned himself around massively from a season where he was dropped by both his championship and premier team into a two point increase in his average and performing well at Sheffield too. Nick Morris scored himself out of position elsewhere this season, should be getting at least 5 rides a night so I’m hoping he does well. surely everyone can agree that the side looks stronger than what I did in 2022

No arguing at all. Brennan was done in those finals, but he raced on until he physically couldn’t.

It would be interesting to see how Edwards scored in heats 4 and 12 and compare.

It’s all about clicking at the same time, will be interesting to see how Pooles riders that are now racing in Poland and doubling up in the premier will do with the extra rides and traveling, last year for Glasgow towards the important end of the season the riders that were doing a lot of rides all over Europe seemed to run out of steam.

In all honesty do you think they would’ve kept him even if they stayed at 42 points? Richie, Steve and Danny all dropped on their 2022 averages.

Reading the piece in the star this week I genuinely felt sorry for the lad. once the Poole team line up from 1-7 was ready for the playoffs and cup matches he never got his heat 8 ride, then depending on the opposition 6 and 7 he could lose his heat 12 ride to Zach too. So in reality out of his programmed 4 rides against his oppositions #7 he was in only getting 2/3 to try and make/improve on his average. From the outside looking in and seeing his scoring he wouldn’t be very attractive for teams for 2023 which is a shame as most teams are taking a 2 pointer at reserve. Had he been allowed to actually race in all of his designated heats maybe his scoring may have been a lot more impressive. Not that I’m hoping for anyone in the league to lose there spot for 23 but it would be interesting to see how he performs when given all four of his rides in the designated heats.

@SpeedwayTShirts think it’s an outstanding idea. Ully had something very similar last year where for £45 you could have your name on his bike covers. At the end of the season all those who had sponsored were put in a draw to win the covers, goggles and a few other bits and bobs used over the season. Sponsoring riders shouldn’t have to be thousands of pounds and when riders put things like the 100 club together gives fans the opportunity to feel an even closer part of the race team. @SpeedwayTShirts what’s the thoughts on a gloves or Goggles giveaway at the end of the season and then I’ll be sorted for the wife’s Valentine’s Day present. ;)

Hopefully that isn’t the case, Eastbourne maybe coming back, Workington back at NDL, rebels coming back, Oxford came back after 15 years?

@gmuncie totally agree with the maybe lack of perspective and the fact that I’d go see speedway regardless of who was racing. I think the basso thing was always going to be Glasgow but with the potential 30 ish meetings he was only going to ride in the championship. having not been to an NDL match, hopefully in the not too distant future we may see one in Glasgow, you never know. What are the attendances like at Armadale, Berwick, Leicester Oxford etc when they run NDL meetings without the championship teams running?
