  1. Guessing there were no 4 pointers out there to bring in. The only choice would be a two pointer or Mulford when he's back.
  2. I wouldn't say it's f'ed, it's just going to have to change to fit the market.
  3. We have lots of interested parties, but if you feel like you want to buy a speedway club please contact us on this email. I would say that part.
  4. All assumptions which we'll never know. "Any parties interested in taking over Leicester Speedway for 2024 and beyond are asked to contact....." that's the bit that would concern me most.
  5. Which is exactly my point, why sell a profitable business, the statement is that it's due to health reasons.
  6. I've been down to Leicester a few times when Glasgow have been down and it seemed like a cracking club with great fans. I have noticed on the meetings that have been shown on Eurosport and BSN that the crowds have been far far less than what I've seen in person. On the "is there more than meets the eye" part, there always is, people don't sell profitable business' unless their heading off into the sunset on the profit they've made. Secondly, how many successful businesses with "interested parties" advertise on their club page with contact details for any other interested parties looking to buying the club. Lastly I hope to goodness that this isn't another club going to the wall.
  7. Your going to hate tyre cam tonight.
  8. What I don't understand is why the stadium was 90% empty? The tickets were 20 quid a shot, they would've known what the attendance was looking like based on the online sales so surely could've dumped a load of free tickets for the locals to come along?
  9. For some reason on my phone I couldn't scroll below " speed bikes for sale" thanking you for the link
  10. I thought someone else would've posted, but what's the thoughts after last night's performance? Too many 0's from one rider? Should Tom have been in earlier? Should we have our strongest rider at 5, it paid of for the Czechs tonight? Would you have taken the same 5 out to Wroclaw? Why was the stadium completely empty?
  11. Ok let's cut the BS When are we getting drone footage and who's going to be the pilot?
  12. Keep posting and it'll become "six pages of nonsense"
  13. Or Edinburgh or Berwick or Birmingham. (Just didn't want any of the other clubs that have more passing feeling left out.)
  14. I enjoyed the last Farewell meeting, I'm assuming it's going to be made and annual event now.
  15. Oxford dictionary Definition of a forum "an event or medium where people can exchange opinions and ideas on a particular issue;" Even Shovelar can post his crap, we just have to remind him, that it's crap.
  16. Totally agree But as long as it includes "Everybody prepares their starts, but Poole prepare them more than anyone else"
  17. Again I'm sure the Rule book is clear as mud but when does he actually become a 3.61 and doesn't the "a rider on assessed average can't drop below 4" come into it aswell? I know it's because of the Newcastle scores being expunged and I'm assuming when the rule was written, it was probably not thought that after a whole season a rider wouldn't have managed to compete in a sufficient number of meetings to obtain a CMA.
  18. Just a fly comment, pull the other one, just watched it again as I have far too much time on my hands. I'm sure you're a BSN subscriber so have a little watch on Danny's track walk again and he explains how the starts are made to look, by being ripped up and packed to appear firm, but due to the depths the bike will sink in when the clutch is dropped. Now I'm guessing with the cat out the bag,The starts needed to be changed again for the future meetings.
  19. So bearing in mind the Glasgow meeting was in July, what seems strange is that it took them 3 months to get the track suitable for there own home riders. Also let's not belittle the OP by saying all tracks are the same and are done to advantage the home team, Poole have deliberately set up the starts so they appear one way but aren't actually as they seem. Again I'll dig through the BSN Redcar meeting and get Danny Kings statement and hopeful we can put this BS to bed.
  20. If he wants to ride in the UK next year I'm sure there'll be plenty clubs after him.
  21. Why don't we have what the Poles do, I think it was 30 mins before tapes up, after the track walk. Two riders from each team get to go out and do a few laps then relay that information to the rest of the team. That way there's no surprises.
  22. Which Is a wee bit why I wonder after the track walk, should the tractors etc be allowed back out, I'm sure it's been mentioned before it's time constraints.
  23. Just double checked, page 103 of the rule book, I tried to copy the text and paste but can't on my phone and can't be bothered pulling out the laptop, But yes second warning results in exclusion and can put reserve in or take the "handicap"(off 15m) Jason Edwards had already done 7 heats so only other option would've been Wood.
