  1. Starting the league matches in June and trying to spread out the Whopping 8 meetings to make it look like there's lots of competitive speedway probably wasn't a great idea. Had they started in April without any weather issues it would be all done by the end of May.
  2. September's going to be very busy for just about every team in the league.
  3. Did he have Stoneman in his pits? I can't think of any mechanical failures he's had this season with him in the pits.
  4. Dammed if you do and Dammed if you don't, with the amount of rainoffs we've had up and down the country we're going to be looking at October/November Playoffs again.
  5. Just want to confirm, do we have to wait until Steve Shovelar or Lisa Colette posts the thread for the Redcar v Glasgow meeting this Friday, since Danny King, Ben Basso and Danyon Hume are racing, which means it's practically a Poole meeting anyways?
  6. After seeing Dan round ashfield for the U21's where he was only 3 bends from winning, I thought he looked far improved from his form in 2023. Great to see him showing Dicko what he lost out on.
  7. Brilliant night of racing. The first 8 point lead went with the tac sub in heat 7 with Brennan off the pace. Then the second lead was lost with Brennan's fall in 11 and Brennan back out in 13. I don't really think we gave it away, but more Tom being off form and Poole capitalising. Sam Hagon's audition was outstanding, unlucky to get squeezed out in heat 8 and great decision with the reserve switch in 14. Ben Cooks position switch in heat 12 with Newman would indicate someone's watching his average for 2024. Which would suggest he's not looking for a new club in 2024. Anders Rowe relishes the racers track but might need to watch he doesn't get to expensive points wise for the future. As everyone's mentioned it's definitely a strong 4 horse race for the playoffs and injury free teams could be the difference.
  8. As a non fighter, it amazes me why riders decide to throw fisty cuffs at someone wearing a crash helmet designed to withstand high speed impacts. Surely it would make more sense to resorting to a kick fest instead?
  9. Whyin the world of speedway madness does it matter....... Let's stick on topic here.... Poole mess with their starts Boo Boo Meany's.
  10. Tom has been confirmed to be heading to Glasgow so luckily we will have 71% of our team available.
  11. I don't know why we don't start the season in March, we've had a lovely spring the last couple years and always seem to be loaded with rain offs towards the mid/tail end of the season.
  12. Weather very heavy showers today, rumor mill now saying Tom not available as he's racing for Lodz tomorrow, so going back to the Sun of God's statement of "the extra gear they have to beat Glasgow"............I think I've found it .........half Our friggin team isn't going to be there
  13. Have a wee scroll up and see why. I'm very aware it's all there
  14. Don't know if this will work. **Evidently not. @lisa-colette I've seen you link screenshots and videos before, would you possibly be able to add a screenshot of the current GSA's. I tried but it's only a downloadable link, which I wouldn't click to download anything from a forum/social media etc.
  15. Across the fan base of all the clubs in the championship we are trying
  16. Lee complins calculated match average is 3.61. his average has been calculated over his last 8 championship matches including the ones he had for Plymouth. The Aussie riders CMA is 4. So if we want a guest for Lee complin we can only use a rider up to or less than 3.61 which they aren't. When none British riders (tend to be Aussies just look at the league) come to the championship they come in on an Assessed average of 4. (There is certain conditions) The rolling match Averages that you are seeing are not the riders CMA it's just a match by match rolling averages, CMA's are only calculated once per month. I have a feeling and I can't find it in the book for after their first year but I don't think they can ever drop below 4.
  17. It was his wedding. But yeah they lost their heads over it, mouthed off again and Marcin went and Scored 3 and 6+1 from the #2 spot from his two visits at Armadale this year.
  18. It's their Green Sheet, Calculated Match Average that it's based off of and they're both on 4. Aussies (or riders that haven't ridden in Poland, Sweden or Denmark) come in on a Assessed average of 4 and I have a niggly feeling they can't drop below that.
  19. Booking a holiday ..... And a wedding may just be viewed slightly differently , I genuinely have no idea but what I find funny is that in the rule book, it states a facility will only be granted if....... And then lists A-P reasons why it would be granted, what flipping rule book has 16 flipping reasons why something would be allowed .
  20. *Edit sorry misread it's early I think Glasgow get the facility due to the "extenuating circumstances " his wedding being scheduled on a day when there wasn't meant to be a meeting. The 25% below the absent riders CMA is only when no facility is granted (pages 99 and 119 for those who care )
  21. To do that requires every heat that Marcin and Bomber, and Claus and Ben are in they need to score 5-1's and who ever then has the two points from those heats to go out and score in their individual heat to get to 9. 2+2+2+3= your answer. That is why I would be amazed if we have a chance of a win on Sunday.
  22. This was suggesting that there were no 4 pointers to bring in prior to July 26th!!!
  23. Can't see anything but a home defeat, even with the top 5 performing will still need points at reserve and I can't see it happening.
