  1. I genuinely wouldn't bother traveling that far with the uncertainty.
  2. The bloody Shame of it is I saw the Plymouth Fans on the Stream that were so loud up at Glasgow for the U21's on the telly and feel for them, the enthusiasm they showed for Dan Gilkes and Ben trigger was more than any other rider got that day. Hope they still have a team to support next season cause they deserve it.
  3. How much money has been wasted, ambulance hire, BSN turning up and setting up, saw a few bandit fans so travel costs etc. How many of those that showed up and paid money will be back next Tuesday for Redcar? I have never ridden a bike or graded a track in my life, but In my present profession and past employment I have alway adopted the 6 P's, Prior Preparation Prevents Pi$$ Poor Performance. If as Greg has stated, that they had been there since midday and nothing was done until one hour before tapes up was schedule, have the Plymouth track team put in sufficient "preparation"?
  4. I do hope this doesn't mean no Greg Blair for a while, I find him very funny and I think he managed the filler on Friday very well.
  5. Unless I missed it I didn't see a post for it. With 6 league matches left and only 2 points short of a playoff spot for Berwick it's all to play for. For Plymouth it's been well over a month, probably closer to 2 since they've turned a bike and with 9 meetings left and 4 points to make up on Edinburgh it's far from over. Live stream on BSN tonight.
  6. Two things, do you think Glasgow will finish with the same 7? And in Bombers announcement today, do you think Glasgow will come through with shining colours?
  7. Sticking with the Shovelar logic, because Leicester decided to move up a league, they should forfeit the trophy. Plus Poole would've won by loads anyways so it's not like they're stealing it.
  8. Would Oxford want Atkins guesting for the team they are fighting the number 1 spot?
  9. I can only think that the stringing out of the meetings was to try and make the season seem fuller than what it actually is. Had they run a home league meeting a week for each team the season would've been over end of May. Based on a ridiculously warm August last year they seem to have stacked this month which has bitten them in the proverbial Again I know this is an Edinburgh thread, but Glasgow v Oxfords meeting has taken 4 months to reschedule!!
  10. I don't think a single person on here would disagree.
  11. Do you honestly think Poole should be awarded the victory after 5 heats? Again I'm sure on forums individuals aren't allowed to be targeted specifically, but I am seriously questioning your ability to tie your own shoelaces. Speedway is raced over 15 heats and a meeting result can only stand after 10 heats have been completed. Thinking a little further, are you by any chance behind the construction of the rulebook and league schedule this year, cause if so, that would make a lot of sense.
  12. 6 and 7 last year started with Danyon and Connor Year before Jensen and Connor Year before Bickley and eventually Connor Before that was Sarjant and thomas I wouldn't say the past have been a problem at reserve, I would completely agree that this year it has been a weak spot, but the management went in knowing full well that Ace was in his first year and making his average was the Goal, which he has done. This put all the focus on Lee scoring well at 6.
  13. Would give a thumbs up but " can't react to forum posts" at the moment, anyone know how to fix that?
  14. Amazing what the boy can do when he's riding in the heats he's meant to
  15. Berwick's reserve pairings have scored 7,8,11,8,12 in their last 5 home meetings Last night they got 2. Complins last 3 meetings (championship) at Berwick he's scored 6,8 and 4. He's on a 3.61 Average. May not be "anything special" but he he seems to get round Berwick very well
  16. "Speedway isn't run like that" is not quite true, Sweden and Poland both run squad systems. "British speedway isn't run like that" would be the correct statement. In football comparison, we (British speedway) are probably kicking around the Vanarama national League level of international speedway. If Complin isn't on the shopping list for Berwick 2024 after his performances there this year then there's some cages needing rattled.
  17. Just clarifies the guy has no grasp on social interactions and timing.
  18. Very much lost on me?? How many fingers are mechanics meant to have??
