  1. So Oxford has clarified the Dugard situation, stating the following: Cheetahs were hit by the withdrawal of Kelsey Dugard after two rides with a reoccurrence of an arm injury. Looks like both Embleton and Dugard aggravated old injuries and neither should have been replaced in heat 14!
  2. They are the rules, but has it actually been said that Dugard aggravated an old injury as opposed to sustaining a new one, or is this all pure speculation? There certainly wasn’t anything wrong with him at Edinburgh the night before. Edit: Looks like Oxford has now said it was a recurrence of an old injury. Oops.
  3. Bickley said in his Instagram post that he planned on retiring before last night’s match, but didn’t want to leave Edinburgh without a rider. Doesn’t sound like somebody out for revenge - he could have just not bothered turning up if that’s the case. More likely he had already retired in his mind and was just going through the motions, trying to get the meeting done without any issues.
  4. Sounded like the Monarchs shot themselves in the foot a bit, but a pretty impressive win for the Chargers regardless. On to Berwick.
  5. Out of interest, how do you compile this list? Just your opinion, or is there some statistical analysis behind it. Apologies if this question has been asked before.
  6. Monarchs at full strength, while Kelsey Dugard makes his debut for the Chargers and Mark Parker is in for Luke Killeen. Can anybody help me out with Parker, I've honestly never heard of him? Monarchs Academy: 1. Kyle Bickley, 2. Mickie Simpson, 3. Adam Roynon, 4. Alex Spooner, 5. Jacob Hook, 6. Dayle Wood, 7. Kyran Lyden. Oxford Chargers: 1. Jordan Jenkins, 2. Jacob Clouting, 3. Henry Atkins, 4. Jody Scott, 5. Ryan Kinsley, 6. Mark Parker (guest), 7. Kelsey Dugard.
  7. This is a match I think Oxford need to win if they have serious aspirations of a top two finish.
  8. I think he’s top of the averages in the Championship (across all comps) this year isn’t he? He’s in amazing form.
  9. Has he announced it's his final season? Haven't seen that news anywhere. I'd be surprised if it is.
  10. And so was I with my initial post. What's your point? Being accurate doesn't mean you should be a d**k about it. I thought I was being quite gracious in defeat, there was no need for a response like that other than to gloat.
  11. Wow. You're gracious when you win aren't you? It's called team building. When your second string are strong, your heat leaders won't be as strong (especially when facing Oxford, who have exactly the opposite). That's why there's a points limit. Poole have gone down this route, and it's working.
  12. The first time Poole haven't hit 100 points in a two-legged knockout tie since the 2021 playoff final... let's call that a win!
  13. This is hilarious. Just have a look through his previous posts (especially in the Oxford section) and you'll see Toady is the last person to be saying "it's a forum", he literally doesn't listen to anyone's opinion! In fact, I'd go as far to say he's only commented on it as he gets a thrill from arguing with people - best to ignore him!
  14. Yeah, he must be fine. Oxford said he'll make his debut on Friday in Edinburgh.
  15. Agreed. A very strong team once Killeen comes back…. 1. Jenkins, 2. Clouting, 3. Atkins, 4. Scott, 5. Kinsley, 6. Dugard, 7. Killeen
  16. The Chargers have signed Kelsey Dugard, who replaces Jacob Fellows in the team.
  17. Pretty sure it's a super heat for the draw on the night, and a second super heat for the aggregate bonus point. Edit: I'm wrong. The AGM press release stated: "Should both meetings between two clubs result in draws, and therefore the aggregate scores are also tied, one Super Heat will be held which will resolve both the meeting victory in the second match, and the aggregate bonus point."
  18. Every lost track should be mourned. What a horrible comment.
  19. Might end up 45-45 here, and then there will be TWO super heats!
  20. Even if you don't make the playoffs, it's surely a better side now - which is progress isn't it? Just watch Laguta and enjoy it if nothing else.
  21. Kye Thomson in. Kasprzak and Pickering out. It's all on the KL website... http://www.kingslynn-speedway.com/news.php?extend.31354
  22. Confirmed that he’s joined King’s Lynn. First meeting on Thursday.
  23. Laguta confirmed on his Instagram. Congrats. Hell of a coup. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cs1lnKgMdyu/?igshid=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==
  24. Wouldn’t be surprised if there are a few Championship bosses watching him there tomorrow as well. He should be eligible in August I think.
