  1. Kerr has been riding as well as Masters and Nicholls in recent weeks (especially at home). Nicholls is obviously a good replacement, but can't expect Jenkins, Atkins and Heeps etc. to match Kerr's scoring. Definitely makes Oxford weaker.
  2. Lewis Kerr missing for Oxford after his crash at Sheffield last night. Rider replacement in place, with Jody Scott as the number 8. An Oxford win, but Kerr missing should make it relatively close?
  3. Yes, it was obviously a joke. Glad you found it funny.
  4. There’s celebrating a win, and the way some Poole fans celebrate a win. Brasso, for instance! I think you’re clever enough to know the difference.
  5. Haha. I never said we didn’t do it. Got to make the most of it while we are top…I’m sure it won’t last long.
  6. If Berwick lost by 16 at the unbeaten league leaders, it should be closer at Poole - a team Oxford beat almost as easily a couple of weeks ago. 46-44
  7. And gloating isn’t a form of trolling when it’s done to annoy someone? Don’t tell me you agree with him!
  8. Wait....is he the one who made that awful Ben Barker comment?
  9. I believe it's.... Glasgow Tigers: 1. Chris Harris, 2. Marcin Nowak, 3. Tom Brennan, 4. Claus Vissing, 5. Ben Basso, 6. Lee Complin, 7. Ace Pijper Redcar Bears: 1. Danny King, 2. Danyon Hume, 3. Connor Bailey, 4. Erik Riss, 5. Charles Wright, 6. Jason Edwards, 7. Luke Harrison But as pointed out below....this is not the Redcar thread!
  10. Trolling is defined as 'the act of leaving an insulting message on the internet in order to annoy someone' Not sure how you think 'playing along with a troll' isn't insulting or annoying to them. Was leaving an emoji of a clown, for instance, a nice thing to do?
  11. Really? Crikey. I didn't realise that. In that case, totally agree, it does make them weaker. And you're right, I haven't seen an announcement either.
  12. What? Seriously? I literally quoted something you said, are you that blinkered that you can't even see what's right in front of you? In case you missed it.... I'll paste it below AGAIN...
  13. They've never replaced RR with Jason Garrad have they? Garrad was used as a replacement for Killeen against Kent.
  14. I'm not going to name names on here, they know who they are.....but one person I can name is yourself. You've even admitted doing it in the past.... how's that for proving you wrong?
  15. This is true. And it could potentially make them very strong again next season.
  16. Hmmmm, not sure you can claim that. You know all the constant gloating is a form of trolling right? While I agree Poole are probably the most trolled club, there are certain individuals that bring that on. I can't deny Poole's success is impressive, but there are quite a few fans who like to make sure everybody knows about it.... a lot.
  17. For once I agree with the Toad. Not sure why crowds should fall off. The novelty factor of Oxford's return has surely already worn off 18 months later. If anything, the crowds are getting bigger, more diverse and the stadium is still improving. Probably helps that there's limited other professional sports (bar a mediocre Oxford United and an improving Oxford City) to offer entertainment in the city, mind.
  18. In an interview with Peter Schroeck at the Berwick meeting last night, it sounded highly unlikely that Luke Kileen will be back racing again this season. Bad news for the Chargers if that's the case (although it should mean they will be strong again next year as he'll keep his 3.00 average).
  19. Agreed, but heats 13 and 15 are basically Oxford’s strongest heats, no? As an Oxford fan, if the meeting is close, it’s always good to know we’ve got those in the bank - so to speak.
  20. I think the Berwick fans are being a little harsh on their team. Bar Poole, they were basically the most competitive team I've seen at Oxford this season. The three late 5-1s definitely flattered Oxford at the end - looked like it was going to be much closer before that. It was also going to be hard for a number of Bandits riders to score big when they are facing either Masters, Nicholls or Kerr in the majority of races. Schlein was superb, battled hard and never gave up.
  21. It's not all doom and gloom, and think the figures quoted might be slightly higher than reality. I have it on good authority that Oxford broke even by the start of August last season, and everything after that was pure profit. They probably are getting over 2,000 fans a week, though, but costs can't have been that high if they were able to quickly recoup that loss and then start to make money. Admittedly this is the Championship we are talking about, so costs will be slightly lower, but then there's no TV money either.
  22. Oxford to maintain their unbeaten start? A win would see the Cheetahs go nine points clear at the top. Cheetahs: 1. Sam Masters, 2. Henry Atkins, 3. Lewis Kerr, 4. Jordan Jenkins, 5. Scott Nicholls, 6. Cameron Heeps, 7. Ryan Kinsley. Bandits: 1. Rory Schlein, 2. Jye Etheridge, 3. Jonas Knudsen, 4. Leon Flint, 5. Thomas Jorgensen, 6. Jacob Hook, 7. Connor Coles.
  23. Oxford have a lease in place until at least 2031.
