  1. You better hope so, positive talks with that landlord mean diddly squat.

  6. Yeh I think it was a fair decision as he must have looked at it several times .
  7. What a move by Scotty in heat 15 he was well fired up for that.
  8. Try this https://pa.swindon.gov.uk/publicaccess/applicationDetails.do?keyVal=RWYWO9PT0EE00&activeTab=summary
  9. This doc was submitted to the council this week it is saying that greyhound racing will finish at the stadium this year so they want to change the 106 agreement As all operations will cease at the stadium later this year Osborne would like the council to reflect this and let him walk away easily.
  10. Final throw from Osborne. The Requirement for Change Further to discussions with officers over the past 9 months, the stadium has now permanently ceased the operation of motorsport, and later this year will cease all its operations. As such, a variation to the s106 agreement is necessary to take account of a different approach to the delivery of the final element of the regeneration of the area. Whilst this will ultimately be delivered by a fresh planning consent on the site, until then, it is necessary for the clauses associated with the current consent to reflect the reality of the position with regards to implementation. Variations agreement: This Deed of Variation request, therefore, seeks to make the following amendments to the above mentioned s106 Insertion of updated Milestone Programme and Milestone Plans. Deletion of the ultimate longstop (12 months from the date of the New Stadium Permission). Deletion of the speedway and greyhound racing covenant. The parties subject to the new agreement will be amended to reflect the relevant updated land ownership position. The above amendments are considered acceptable as they relate to the construction of the stadium, which has now permanently ceased. As such, the variations are critical to progress with an alternative proposal to deliver the final element of the regeneration of the site, which will deliver significant and lasting benefits to the local area. To proceed with this Deed, the Owner agrees to meet the Council's legal costs and confirms agreement to the changes noted above.
  11. But that’s exactly what you’ve been doing your always at it.
  12. Ha Ha, my point was right and you know it....You were desperate for changes so that when on your travels as a proper fan you would not be upset by the Oxford Spires losing away. You can’t be much of an intelli gent if you can’t remember any of that.
  13. This was exactly my point about this comment. This guy was desperate for changes to Oxford for the same reason as you(attending away fixtures) and now he’s suggesting the complete opposite. Double standards I think.
  14. Ha Ha you clearly don’t have any !
  15. I seem to remember someone from Oxford saying something similar about their team but a few weeks ago.
  16. Nice thought to think Osbourne would even consider loaning money for a new stadium build it is indeed a shot in the dark. However most of his promises lead on the road to nowhere.I also think we are all becoming a little paranoid with all this speculation.I would shed no more tears if Osbourne went straight to hell as he is definitely one person I would not like to meet on the other side.
  17. The council have spoken (it must be election time)https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/24375749.swindon-council-leader-says-abbey-stadium-will-not-used-housing/
  18. Good point, he does seem to generate plenty speed into the first corner from any position on the start grid and from what I've seen he doesn't appear to roll or jump the start but always remains static. Maybe it's his set up, all to often riders I’ve seen get lightening starts only to be passed in a flash down the back straight.
  19. It's good to see Connor in sparkling form after his injuries last year. He has bonded well with the team and on current form must be looking to improve his average. His commitment and energy are there for all to see and it is good to see him attacking the circuit again. I am sure despite some resistance in some quarters the majority of Edinburgh fans look at his signing as a positive for the club. Well done.
  20. Have to agree, no one could touch him.
  21. That’s the Cheetahs for you we get that every week !
