  1. No its got nothing at all to do with his past record unfortunately
  2. Yeh, but it ain’t you he’s trying to convince is it
  3. I wouldn’t have thought so, his dad is Martin Hagon
  4. Spot on, I’ve been saying the same for ages just enjoy and support what you’ve got while you can as it could be gone in a flash
  5. But Poole “don’t like Mondays” that’s why they’re championship
  6. You can have as much backing from councils as you like but you have to have people prepared to invest money ultimately.
  7. If anyone’s interested https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/23825874.abbey-stadium-future-swindon-greyhound-venue-unknown/
  8. Apologies, I didn’t think the bsf was only for intellectuals like what you is.
  9. Just an observation, it Seems to me you are the one (along with your sidekick down memory lane) who likes to argue, and their he goes !
  10. He often does I am afraid he can’t help it
  11. Yes he did say that, and the average for Poole would go up with their success (I think Matt ford said as much)but no one challenged him from scs side on that or anything else for that matter so basically what he said was well presented for inspector to look at later.
  12. They must do as he is the Landlord of the stadium so his figures are accurate I would also say the figures he suggested for Swindon would be correct ,so as you see he did come prepared with facts unlike a previous poster suggested
  13. Well I hope the inspector sees it that way and discounts osbournes figures
  14. That is what goatly was doing all last week !
  15. You’ve got to understand that Gi are just interested in money they do not care or have ever cared about speedway osbourne put a lot of effort into his pitch at rugby because somebody is paying him a lot of cash to do so simple.Just look at the game he played at Swindon !(Gi just walked off back to Swindon)
  16. I am sure there are plenty of fans would like to see the return of Reading and I know for sure there are at Swindon but unlike at Oxford and Coventry they unfortunately have not got an organised campaign group needed to keep up the pressure and find a solution.
  17. Sorry I edited my post as you were posting I believe the council own the land
  18. Where have you been, councils have no money to build stadia and as they own the land unfortunately that’s it.
  19. The folks that actually attend these meetings are well used to these things it isn’t like it’s new
  20. Fyi this was reported in s/star last week and is mentioned in another thread( new club for 2024)
