Unfortunately the bspa have no clout regarding other people’s property and therefore its not their call what does or does not happen at these venues sad to say.
I am talking about my team, having already lost it once and also the team I supported in between now gone forever.I wouldn’t support any old dross and understand your point but most of the time I’ve been totally entertained at Oxford and at Swindon before that so that is where i am coming from.
Matchams is owned by one of Clark osbournes mates a stock car man who he quoted at the Brandon appeal. He is also part of his joke Swindon motorsports venture.
As I said, was that not the role of the council and Scs barristers to pose those questions ? Iam afraid that ship has sailed. One can only hope that the proposed development fails on the other matters up for consideration as was laid out at the start.
When Osbourne was asked about the motorsport project he said “it’s making good progress” but no one pushed him on it,as usual he just had an easy ride.
He isn’t anything to do with Brandon estates but I think they reached out to him after his success at Swindon and considering the work his team have put in on behalf of BE a large brown envelope will have been presented to him(I expect a nice bonus to be given if planning is granted)
Neither of the two barristers for council or scs challenged him on his record in business sad to say , he was only questioned around stadium/speedway/Stox viability to which he had done his homework and used his questionable experience.
Yes he did say that, and the average for Poole would go up with their success (I think Matt ford said as much)but no one challenged him from scs side on that or anything else for that matter so basically what he said was well presented for inspector to look at later.
