Rugby planning officers recommended approval of the Brandon estates plans before the Council rejected them.

Kasprazak rode for many many clubs throughout his career in the uk making him a journeyman as I said. If you know anything about speedway then will realise that Boughen is very young and only just started riding speedway so just like everyone he has to learn his craft and needs encouragement not criticism. -

Noun journeyman (plural journeymen) A tradesman who has served an apprenticeship and is employed by a master tradesman A competent but undistinguished tradesman, especially one who works, and is paid by the day. (Sports)A player who plays on many different teams during the course of his career Yes, a journeyman because that's what he was.His ability was questioned by somebody else not me. The point is Ashton has only just started his career and is still very much a novice so to compare him Kasprazak is ludicrous. -

See you edited to embellish your point ,Ashton Boughen is nothing like kasparzak he is a very young rider and has many years ahead of him and a slight lack of confidence is no reason to suggest he is like a journeyman like kasperzak -

Spot on assessment. -
They got planning approval to construct a new garden centre in 2015 but as usual it never happened, just happy to sit on it until now.
-
I see that a new planning application has been submitted for the old nursery site directly opposite Brandon Stadium for up to 42 dwellings. Will be interesting to see if they get approval for this in the future.

Thanks for that, He wasn't going to pose any challenging questions now was he? or more likely was oblivious to the heat 12 omission himself. -

As a matter of interest who interviewed him ? -
Coventry is grey belt i think and so the government expect 50% of those houses to be affordable which will hopefully make such a small development unattractive, also not forgetting that the development was rejected by a government appointed inspector not just the council.

Although I love the spires if I had to choose it would be the championship side for me

Oxford vs Leicester 29/08/2024 PL R2
Toady replied to IainB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well I for one thought Greg Blair’s performance tonight was a breath of fresh air a 100% improvement on the usual incumbent who is a total bore who likes the word “Obviously” and usually fails to announce the line up until they are at the first bend. -
Before work commenced on this phase of the stadium build the report passed to the planning dept clearly advised them to include measures in the 106 to ensure Speedway’s future at the stadium, however it would seem they chose not to include those measures therefore leaving the door wide open for Osbourne. Some may believe this to have been intentional. Summary of Recommendation: That the Head of Planning, Regulatory Services and Heritage be authorised to APPROVE the reserved matters, subject to the conditions set out in the report (together with any amended, omitted or additional conditions) upon the completion of a Section 106 obligation to mitigate the impact of the development and to ensure the satisfactory completion of the stadium development and the other strategic infrastructure, including the open space and play areas and the construction of the necessary drainage infrastructure. In the event that the applicant fails to enter into an agreement or fails to agree to an extension of time for the determination of the application to enable the Council as Local Planning Authority to deal with these matters, then the Head of Planning, Regulatory Services and Heritage be authorised to refuse the approval of reserved matters and; The Head of Planning, Regulatory Services and Heritage, in consultation with the Head of Legal Services, be authorised to take planning enforcement action and other legal action regarding the breaches of the s106 planning obligation. 3 It is recommended that the section 106 agreement should include the following matters; No additional housing is to be developed until the new stadium is operational and substantially complete. (The definition of operational and substantial completion to be agreed in the s106 agreement.) Other extant permissions and approvals previously granted for alternative proposals (the revised outline S/OUT/14/0833 and subsequent reserved matters approval S/RES/16/0036 for the new stadium) are to be revoked

Well aware of that but the talks are with a leaseholder who hates speedway so he does have some input I would suggest that’s all.
