  1. Do you know something we don’t? From the rumours I’ve heard it is very unlikely we’ll come to tapes in ‘25… And with regards to the 2 riders. Assume it will be Anders and NKI
  2. Don’t think it will matter - doesn’t look likely at this stage we will reach tapes in ‘25. But I’ll play along with a 1-7 (based of current GSAs) 1. 8.66 to play with. If we had a wealthy financier or sponsor that came in I would take Laguta again on the basis he committed to every meeting. Other options (Lebedevs, Dudek, Michelsen, Vaculik etc etc) 2. Basso - has took the piss recently, but has been the most consistent rider at home this season (6.89) 3. Lawson - has to be the first name on the team sheet if we’re coming back. (7.21) 4. Kvech - Has been an absolute revelation. Fans love him and he seems to love being here (6.52) 5. Janowski - has twice shown this season his liking to AFA. Think he’d make an outstanding 2nd HL for us (7.01) 6. Rowe - with the 25% reduction it is a no brainer, but only if we used the points saving elsewhere (3.71) RS. Boughen - I believe he is our asset
  3. Must’ve been a reason Bailey left citing his mental health? Fans of every other club want to make up rumours as to why Lynn riders pack up and leave, maybe something going on behind the scenes at BV that got Bailey down? If you look at the whole post I’m referring to this season… although I will give you Brennan certainly is a success story, but he has come on leaps and bounds since being at Brum
  4. Okay - he may have improved more significantly after riding in Sweden, but if he wasn’t given his chance at 16 to ride in the Lynn first team things may have worked out differently
  5. Bit of an unfair comment tbh: Is Robert Lambert not a proven example of success under Chapman and Allitt? BV - Conor Baileys career really took off this season didn’t it? Sheffield - Dan Gilkes is progressing well isn’t he? - Likewise Jason Edwards (gone backwards since he left Lynn) Ipswich - Dan Thompson has been a success, granted, but has gone backwards since in main body and confidence declined since Emil and Jason’s injuries - Jordan Jenkins has looked poor until recent weeks
  6. And now you know how Lynn have felt all season without a number 1 & 5. And, unfortunately I think the meeting at Owlerton will be the last we ever see of Emil Sayfutdinov racing on these shores. Toruń certainly won’t let him come back this year, and I’m pretty sure they’ll block it next year as well.
  7. With Leicester, Sheffield and Birmingham not racing, it makes picking guests for a Thursday meeting a bit easier. Here’s my prediction KLS 1. Kvech 2. Wojdylo 3. Iversen 4. Becker (G) 5. Lawson (G) 6. Kerr RS. Rowe Will OS have Tungate back? Janowski and Harris should go well but I only see a comfortable win for the Stars…
  8. I honestly hope we drop down to the Championship, new promotion or not.
  9. It’s just a shame that recently (bar 2021 and even that on paper wasn’t a good team) he hasn’t had the resources to challenge with a competitive 1-7
  10. With Artem I’m referring to the lucky dip meetings he would either attend or not
  11. This is coming from a Lynn fan, I do hope Emil comes back. One of the nicest guys in speedway and pure entertainment. However, you may find yourselves in a similar situation to what we did with Vadim and Artem - fail to comply with what the Polish authorities/Torun say, or his Polish license might be revoked meaning he won’t be able to ride in Poland on his Russian one
  12. Just for the life of me can’t understand why Ellis was kept in heat 13 and not replaced by Paddy or even Rowe…
  13. Don’t think you’ll ever see Janowski fly over from Wroclaw for a guest booking, even if it was Sheffield or Ipswich paying
  14. You’re better than that! After the” incident” last year must’ve stocked up on the required parts
  15. Going to be tough with only Oxford not riding. Hopefully Basso is back tomorrow comes through that ok. Will probably have to be: 1. Riss (G) 2. Basso 3. Iversen 4. Wright (G) 5. R/R 6. Wojdylo 7. Rowe There must be someone we can bring in from the continent who would be willing to ride for us. Using lacklustre facilities for Musielak is really hurting us. Even if we get an assessed 6.0 rider surely that is better than using Kerr/S Lambert. Jan could hold his own at 1 especially at home. 1. Kvech 2. Assessed 6.0 rider 3. Iversen 4. Basso 5. Klindt 6. Wojdylo 7. Rowe
  16. Big problemo on Thursday though as we won’t have Jan (rearranged Zielona Gora meeting). With Oxford not riding again we need to try and get Bomber and Janowski, but more likely will be Bomber and Riss
  17. Get extra 5% for home meetings don’t you. Klindt 6.59 + 5% - 6.92 Harris - 6.79
  18. The post match report following yesterday’s match has Ellis and Harris as guests
  19. Bomber and Ellis guest. Basso could potentially be back for this one, if not R/R. This is how I’d line up 1. Ellis (G) 2. Basso or R/R 3. Harris (G) 4. Iversen 5. Kvech 6. Wojdylo 7. Rowe
  20. They can’t. Lynn still have 3 meetings left until they complete 18/24 (75%) and that doesn’t happen until 12th August. Polish regular season is finished by then…
  21. Might be more availability with some play off places secured in Poland and Sweden
  22. Was said at the start of the season this was the most expensive Lynn team ever assembled, even more than the team with Laguna last season. Not surprising really - can’t imagine Tobi or Tarasenko came cheap.
