Think he has verbal commitment to continue with Brum in ‘25 -
King’s Lynn vs Leicester - Monday 02/09/24
StarBoy replied to SamKM91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Wishful thinking and a bit too optimistic I fear. I’ll go: 1. Basso R/R 2. Rowe* 3. Iversen 4. Harris (g) 5. Kvech 6. S Lambert (g) 7. Kerr *New averages come into force from today seeing Rowe move in to the 1-5 -
Sheffield vs Ipswich 2024 Cup Final Sept 2nd

As Sheffield have now re-declared their lineup with R/R instead of Harris, could Ipswich now re-declare theirs with Harris instead of Lidsey or Brennan? -

As Phil Morris has explicitly said, decisions are made on a “commercial basis” rather than for sporting reasons. -
I’d also be surprised if he was. If Sheffield want to go top heavy again can see Musielak slipping his way back in
-
Kurtz - 9.18 Bewley - 8.74 (8.52) Cook - 6.99 Brennan - 6.76 (6.59) Total - 31.67 (31.28)
-
Even if the point limit remained the same, there’s no way you could fit that top 4 in. I also can’t see Brennan going back to BV as a second string - he wants to push on
-
To what 38, 39 for top 6? Will the RS system remain?
-
If I was to guess I’d go NKI, Klindt, Basso, Rowe

Kings Lynn v Sheffield 29/8/24
StarBoy replied to Manifesto's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Very surprised the KL promotion didn’t do a package offer for yesterday and today - especially knowing tonight’s is streamed on BSN. Was there last night and looked the poorest crowd I’ve seen all season, can imagine there will be even fewer tonight… Some gesture of both meetings for £35-£40 might have tempted a few more…? -
You don’t think Lynn are running @TTT ?
-
I also just assumed that Voulas would stay as well. Heard Lemon is desperate to get Zischke back next year so it seems like there’s 3 pretty nailed on - Bewley - 8.34 Kurtz - 9.31 Zischke - 4.57 Leaves you 17.78 for your remaining 3 (assuming team building stays at 40). If you’re saying B Cook (6.86) is a sure thing then that leaves 10.92 for your remaining 2 - who else would you get?
-
If the team building limit remains the same (40.0) then one of Bewley, Kurtz, Lidsey or Cook would have to go. I just presumed Lidsey would say since you brought him to the UK and have invested heavily in him - although he does seem to have gone backwards a little bit this season
-
Fully aware we haven’t even made it to the Play-Offs yet, but you assume all the teams that are going again have already built their teams ahead of being ratified ahead of the AGM. Also - just a bit of fun isn’t it predicting what happens in silly season. My 2025 team predictions below (based on current GSA and assuming the team building limit stays the same): Belle Vue Aces 1. Brady Kurtz - 9.31 2. Annti Voulas - 4.55 3. Jaimon Lidsey - 6.97 4. Norick Blodorn - 5.54 5. Dan Bewley - 8.78 (8.34) 6. Tate Zischke - 4.57 RS. Jake Mulford (William Cairns when he turns 16) Total - 39.28 Birmingham Brummies 1. Freddie Lindgren - 7.84 2. Zach Cook - 5.47 3. Ben Cook - 6.86 4. Tom Brennan - 6.44 (6.12) 5. Danny King - 6.48 (6.16) 6. Wiktor Lampart - 4.93 RS. Leon Flint Total - 37.38 Ipswich Witches 1. Jason Doyle - 9.36 2. Keynan Rew - 5.43 3. Jan Kvech - 6.52 4. Vadim Tarasenko - 6.77 5. Tobiasz Musielak - 8.21 6. Dan Thompson - 4.29 (3.22) RS. Jordan Jenkins if he is still applicable? Total - 39.51 Kings Lynn Stars 1. Robert Lambert - 7.81 (7.42) 2. Niels Kristian Iversen - 6.73 3. Ben Basso - 6.89 4. Nicolai Klindt - 6.59 5. Richard Lawson - 7.21 (6.85) 6. Anders Rowe - 4.94 (3.71) RS. Ashton Boughen Total - 38.19 Leicester Lions 1. Max Fricke - 8.70 2. Craig Cook - 5.03 (4.78) 3. Luke Becker - 6.17 4. Sam Masters - 7.17 5. Ryan Douglas - 7.59 6. Lewis Kerr - 4.67 (4.44) RS. Sam Hagon Total - 38.85 Oxford Spires 1. Tai Woffinden - 8.67 (8.24) 2. Erik Riss - 5.47 3. Charles Wright - 6.30 (5.99) 4. Maciej Janowski - 7.01 5. Rohan Tungate - 7.63 6. Patryk Wojdylo - 4.74 RS. Luke Killeen Total - 39.08 Sheffield Tigers 1. Jack Holder - 8.70 2. Kyle Howarth - 5.35 (5.08) 3. Chris Harris - 6.37 (6.06) 4. Josh Pickering - 6.61 5. Chris Holder - 8.65 6. Kye Thomson - 4.35 RS. Dan Gilkes Total - 39.37

I personally think Janowski and Lawson should be our top 2 targets if we go again next year. I think RL has said ‘25 is a likely return to UK, but I just have a horrible feeling Belle Vue will get him. Will be interesting to see what silly season brings as there could be a lot of transfer merry-go-rounds with Sheffield having to get rid of one of J Holder, C Holder and Tai you would imagine.
-
He didn’t ride in Sweden last night so wouldn’t expect him to feature this evening.
-
Don’t think any of the names listed above could’ve guested for Wojdylo. Other than Kemp the only other options would be Craig Cook, Kyle Howarth and Zack Cook (who would’ve been my choice)
-
Do you know something we don’t? From the rumours I’ve heard it is very unlikely we’ll come to tapes in ‘25… And with regards to the 2 riders. Assume it will be Anders and NKI

Don’t think it will matter - doesn’t look likely at this stage we will reach tapes in ‘25. But I’ll play along with a 1-7 (based of current GSAs) 1. 8.66 to play with. If we had a wealthy financier or sponsor that came in I would take Laguta again on the basis he committed to every meeting. Other options (Lebedevs, Dudek, Michelsen, Vaculik etc etc) 2. Basso - has took the piss recently, but has been the most consistent rider at home this season (6.89) 3. Lawson - has to be the first name on the team sheet if we’re coming back. (7.21) 4. Kvech - Has been an absolute revelation. Fans love him and he seems to love being here (6.52) 5. Janowski - has twice shown this season his liking to AFA. Think he’d make an outstanding 2nd HL for us (7.01) 6. Rowe - with the 25% reduction it is a no brainer, but only if we used the points saving elsewhere (3.71) RS. Boughen - I believe he is our asset -

Must’ve been a reason Bailey left citing his mental health? Fans of every other club want to make up rumours as to why Lynn riders pack up and leave, maybe something going on behind the scenes at BV that got Bailey down? If you look at the whole post I’m referring to this season… although I will give you Brennan certainly is a success story, but he has come on leaps and bounds since being at Brum -

Okay - he may have improved more significantly after riding in Sweden, but if he wasn’t given his chance at 16 to ride in the Lynn first team things may have worked out differently
