I agree we should be a Premiership club, as Lynn is an institution of British speedway, but we do need to start acting like one. Let’s say we assemble the “strength in depth” team that has been rumoured 1. Lawson; 2. Iversen; 3. Klindt; 4. Kvech; 5. Cook; 6. Harris. Minus Jan I look at that team and think it’s a Championship team anyway. I know for whatever reason it didn’t work out this year, but at least people were excited about our team before the tapes went up for the first time. We had a proven Premiership No. 1, a No. 5 who had significant room for improvement and the best reserve pairing in the league. The only thing on paper that let our starting 2024 side down was our middle order. We need to go down the same team building route to stand any chance this year and that does require a genuine No 1 being in the team. 1. Fricke/Tungate (if they become available depending on what Leicester and Oxford do) - 9.14 / 7.71 2. Iversen - 6.83 3. Klindt - 6.59 4. Kvech - 6.58 5. B Cook - 6.99 6. Boughen - 3.00 / Kerr - 4.77 Total - 39.13 / 39.47

Pretty sure he enjoyed being at King’s Lynn more than at Zielona Gora. I know he’s at Torun next year, so might be different. would be lovely if he could bring one of his teammates in Dudek or Lambert back with him
-
I would go out on a limb and say that team is actually cheaper than the 1-7 that started last season
-
Get rid of Basso and Klindt and have Tungate and Lawson and then it’s a competitive team - especially at home. Should win every home meeting and nick a few bonuses 1. Tungate - 7.71 2. Iversen - 6.83 3. B Cook - 6.99 4. Kvech- 6.58 5. Lawson - 6.91 6. Rowe - 3.91 Total - 38.93

5.71

Frederik Jakobsen has show his liking to Foxhole previously…
-
Let’s see… Lemon has been tracking him for a long time and will need to replace either B Cook or Lidsey. Keynan fills the void nicely

Come on you’re better than that. You know even Buster won’t put a team out that’s 3.3 or 2.3 under the limit to start a season. Maybe at the end, but not at the start
-
D King -> Birmingham K Howarth -> Leicester
-
In an ideal world you would have a blend of top end and strength in depth, especially to win your home meetings significantly to gain the aggregate bonus point. In my head the the perfect makeup of a team to get you to the magic 39 points should be (or as close as you can get): 1 - 8.5 (Lebedevs 8.0 ) 2 - 6 (Iversen 6.83) 3 - 7 (Kvech 6.58) 4 - 6 (Klindt 6.59) 5. - 7 (Lawson 7.09 / 6.91) 6 - 4.5 (Rowe 5.21 / 3.91) 7 - RS Total 39 (38.82)
-
A great listen guys! Very unsure of what the strategy is for ‘25 unless Rob is keeping his cards very much close to his chest. Very doubtful that a “strength in depth” can be described as exciting unless they can find another gem in the dirt like Jan!
-
Think the more pressing need for Birmingham if they go again is a competent Manager.
-
Could put Pickering in that team also…

I think Musielak is pretty much a guarantee for Ipswich. Emil won’t return and that is a big void to fill and Musielak kind of fits the bill perfectly for them. I think he wants to do UK, just for whatever reason it didn’t work out at Lynn. The more I think about it maybe Tarasenko is unlikely. Ipswich would do well to go for Freddie Jakobsen - on his his last 2 visits to Foxhall he scored 13 and 7+2 and would come in on a bargain 5.71
-
Only probably for them is that he is a Lynn asset, so either Buster has first refusal, or they would need to pay a loan fee
-
Then if Huckenbeck was to come he would be on a 6.00 like Kvech. Although I can’t see him coming
-
They only come in on an 8.00 if they have ridden in the GPs for 2 consecutive seasons within the last 5 years. in terms of riders like Huckenbeck, Lebedevs, Kubera etc I don’t know, if they were in the GPs next season that would count as their 2nd consecutive season of they would have to complete 25 and for 26 would come in on an 8.00. How I interpret the rules I would say they still come in on a 6.00 for next season. the regulation is chapter 10 - 0.10.2.2 of the SCB Regulations if anyone interprets different to me
-
Kurtz not doing UK next year? Thought he’d be the first name in Lemons 7…
-
I see this as the Ipswich team. It fits if the points limit remains at 40.0. If decreasing to 39.0 replace Tarasenko with Ellis 1. Jason Doyle - 9.36 2. Keynan Rew - 5.79 3. Vadim Tarasenko - 6.77 4. Tom Brennan - 6.67 (6.50) 5. Tobiasz Musielak - 8.21 6. Dan Thompson - 3.11
-
Certainly haven’t stepped on my toes @Bald Bloke like you said my thread was a general one for fans of all teams to voice their predictions. As a Stars myself I am totally on board with the setup of this thread😬
-
Re Milik - for team building purposes he might have to be on a 5.0 but unsure of the rules
-
A lot can happen in the six months between now and March
-
The logistics reasoning is correct, he has mentioned it for a while when he was at Lynn in 21 & 22. However, every time he has guested at Lynn this season and gave interviews he says how much he loves the club, track etc so who knows… We had a decent team this year and if it wasn’t for the shenanigans I truly believe we would’ve won the KO Cup and made it to the playoffs
-
What I heard is that he had a verbal agreement with Lynn and then Leicester offered £20 a point more and that swayed his decision along with the logistics as well
