  1. Look at Anders Rowe’s progression 2023: 5.95 2024: 7.76 (4 meetings) If I was in the Championship I know which one I’d rather have…
  2. But if you can’t attract/pay for a big hitter never mind 2, what other approach is there?
  3. Sure Pawlicki and Milik did too. I’d personally take Zagar over either of them 2
  4. I agree. Kvech can be a 7.5-8.0 rider, especially now he’s seen all the away tracks at least once
  5. Neither of them look like a tight budget team to me, especially the one on the right… World No.3 and Tungate who will dictate No.1 earnings as he rode that all of last year for Oxford
  6. Apparently Masters (Oxford) and Douglas (Lynn or Birmingham) are both leaving Leicester, as well the yearly rumour that Lawson is going back to Lynn. Could be a very different 1-7 next year for the Lions: 1. Fricke - 9.14 2. Sedgmen - 4.79 3. Tarasenko - 6.77 ??? 4. Becker - 6.57 5. Musielak - 8.21 ??? 6. Kemp - 3.95 RS. Hagon Total - 39.43
  7. Would love to see Douglas at Lynn, but not at No.1 on his average of 7.30 as can only see that dropping.
  8. It’s a solid team, which I guess is the strategy for ‘25. Should in theory win every home meeting comfortably (50-40 minimum), just on the road feel it might get exposed and not see us pick up many aggregate points. If at all possible, I would like to see us incorporate both Janowski and B Cook. 1. Janowski - 7.02 2. Iversen - 6.83 3. Kvech - 6.58 4. Lawson - 6.91 5. B Cook - 6.99 6. Z Cook - 5.57 7. Boughen - RS Total - 39.9
  9. Too long of a tail even if the points limit is 40. Won’t win anything with a reserve at 2 and two rising stars at reserve
  10. Good job he’s rejoining Lynn who are in the fortunate position that they can change their race night to a Monday
  11. I agree we should be a Premiership club, as Lynn is an institution of British speedway, but we do need to start acting like one. Let’s say we assemble the “strength in depth” team that has been rumoured 1. Lawson; 2. Iversen; 3. Klindt; 4. Kvech; 5. Cook; 6. Harris. Minus Jan I look at that team and think it’s a Championship team anyway. I know for whatever reason it didn’t work out this year, but at least people were excited about our team before the tapes went up for the first time. We had a proven Premiership No. 1, a No. 5 who had significant room for improvement and the best reserve pairing in the league. The only thing on paper that let our starting 2024 side down was our middle order. We need to go down the same team building route to stand any chance this year and that does require a genuine No 1 being in the team. 1. Fricke/Tungate (if they become available depending on what Leicester and Oxford do) - 9.14 / 7.71 2. Iversen - 6.83 3. Klindt - 6.59 4. Kvech - 6.58 5. B Cook - 6.99 6. Boughen - 3.00 / Kerr - 4.77 Total - 39.13 / 39.47
  12. Pretty sure he enjoyed being at King’s Lynn more than at Zielona Gora. I know he’s at Torun next year, so might be different. would be lovely if he could bring one of his teammates in Dudek or Lambert back with him
  13. I would go out on a limb and say that team is actually cheaper than the 1-7 that started last season
  14. Get rid of Basso and Klindt and have Tungate and Lawson and then it’s a competitive team - especially at home. Should win every home meeting and nick a few bonuses 1. Tungate - 7.71 2. Iversen - 6.83 3. B Cook - 6.99 4. Kvech- 6.58 5. Lawson - 6.91 6. Rowe - 3.91 Total - 38.93
  15. Frederik Jakobsen has show his liking to Foxhole previously…
  16. Let’s see… Lemon has been tracking him for a long time and will need to replace either B Cook or Lidsey. Keynan fills the void nicely
  17. My updates predictions as of 24.09.24 Belle Vue Aces 1. Brady Kurtz - 9.18 2. Annti Voulas - 4.13 3. Ben Cook - 6.99 4. Keynan Rew - 5.67 5. Dan Bewley - 8.52 6. Tate Zischke - 4.57 RS. Jake Mulford Total - 39.06 Birmingham Brummies 1. Freddie Lindgren - 8.13 2. Zach Cook - 5.57 3. Steve Worrall - 5.69 4. Adam Ellis - 5.47 5. Ryan Douglas - 7.30 6. Wiktor Lampart - 4.93 RS. Leon Flint Total - 37.09 Ipswich Witches 1. Jason Doyle - 9.36 2. Fredrik Jakobsen - 5.71 3. Tom Brennan - 6.52 4. Jaimon Lidsey - 6.58 5. Tobiasz Musielak - 8.21 6. Dan Thompson - 3.10 RS. Jordan Jenkins if he is still applicable? Total - 39.48 Kings Lynn Stars 1. Andzejs Lebedevs - 8.00 2. Ben Basso - 6.89 3. Jan Kvech - 6.58 4. Niels Kristian Iversen - 6.83 5. Richard Lawson - 6.91 6. Anders Rowe - 3.91 RS. Ashton Boughen Total - 38.12 Leicester Lions 1. Max Fricke - 9.14 2. Justin Sedgmen - 4.79 3. Luke Becker - 6.57 4. Nicolai Klindt - 6.59 5. Sam Masters - 7.32 6. Craig Cook - 4.56 RS. Sam Hagon Total - 38.97 Oxford Spires 1. Tai Woffinden - 8.67 (8.24) 2. Erik Riss - 5.55 3. Charles Wright - 6.32 4. Rohan Tungate - 7.71 5. Maciej Janowski - 7.02 6. Lewis Kerr - 4.77 RS. Luke Killeen Total - 39.61 Sheffield Tigers 1. Jack Holder - 8.85 2. Kyle Howarth - 5.05 3. Chris Harris - 6.06 4. Josh Pickering - 6.74 5. Chris Holder - 8.79 6. Kye Thomson - 4.35 RS. Dan Gilkes Total - 39.84
  18. Come on you’re better than that. You know even Buster won’t put a team out that’s 3.3 or 2.3 under the limit to start a season. Maybe at the end, but not at the start
  19. In an ideal world you would have a blend of top end and strength in depth, especially to win your home meetings significantly to gain the aggregate bonus point. In my head the the perfect makeup of a team to get you to the magic 39 points should be (or as close as you can get): 1 - 8.5 (Lebedevs 8.0 ) 2 - 6 (Iversen 6.83) 3 - 7 (Kvech 6.58) 4 - 6 (Klindt 6.59) 5. - 7 (Lawson 7.09 / 6.91) 6 - 4.5 (Rowe 5.21 / 3.91) 7 - RS Total 39 (38.82)
  20. A great listen guys! Very unsure of what the strategy is for ‘25 unless Rob is keeping his cards very much close to his chest. Very doubtful that a “strength in depth” can be described as exciting unless they can find another gem in the dirt like Jan!
  21. Think the more pressing need for Birmingham if they go again is a competent Manager.
