  1. It might’ve been agreed prior to Monday’s meeting and there was some red tape which prevented them announcing it until yesterday…?
  2. It appears the Stars are about to launch some form of collaboration with Team Quadrant (lifestyle and gaming brand founded by F1 superstar Lando Norris). Exciting times ahead for Lynn…
  3. 1. Leicester vs Sheffield will be called off… 2. Birmingham vs Oxford will be called off… 3. This meeting was not due to be televised, thus not affecting the “TV Schedule”
  4. If it’s on, then it will be a Stars win. 48-42, with the Stars winning the Super Heat for aggregate.
  5. Maybe not enough? He may potentially need the Championship as a confidence builder for him…
  6. If Rob came in how on his 7.81 average he finished 2023 (2019) with, he would fit perfectly for Cook using the full 40.0 limit…
  7. Maybe less than 500 for the Young Stars but definitely not for main team. Around 800-1000 consistently
  8. I heard the other night on the terraces at Lynn that Emil and Jason are both on a £4k guarantee
  9. He tried to buy Swaffham Raceway for definite. Not sure about Northampton
  10. Can see Godfrey being the saviour and move Scunthorpe up
  11. It’d be fantastic if we went through, but I just can’t see how we can get to the magic 43 points barring some absolute miracle.
  12. You should win fairly comfortably. 38-52
  13. Definitely wasn’t as big compared to the last 2 times Ipswich visited. I’d say no more than 1500
  14. I hope I’m wrong and Lynn put in a competitive performance. However, I can just see Ipswich coming for blood following last night
  15. IPSWICH: 1. Jason Doyle 9.07 2. Danny King © 6.65 3. Adam Ellis 5.57 4. Tom Brennan 7.09 5. Emil Sayfutdinov 8.87 6. Dan Thompson 5.09 7. Jason Edwards (G) (RS). Team Manager: Ritchie Hawkins KING’S LYNN: 1. R/R for Niels-Kristian Iversen 6.74 2. Richard Lawson 6.25 3. Chris Harris 6.69 4. Lewis Kerr (G) 6.04 5. Jan Kvěch 6.49 6. Nicolai Klindt © 6.02 7. Luke Harrison (G) (RS). Team Manager: Rob Lyon Predictions for this one? I’m sure Ipswich will be fired up for this one following Monday’s embarrassment. I can only see a very, very comfortable home win with Kvech, Klindt and Lawson putting up some resistance for the Stars. 56-34. Ipswich 1. Doyle - 10 (4) 2. King - 11 (5) 3. Ellis - 7 (4) 4. Brennan - 8 (5) 5. Sayfutdinov - 10 (4) 6. Thompson - 7 (4) 7. Edwards - 3 (4) Total - 56 King’s Lynn 1. R/R 2. Lawson - 8 (6) 3. Harris - 5 (5) 4. Kerr - 2 (3) 5. Kvech - 9 (6) 6. Klindt - 9 (7) 7. Harrison - 1 (3) Total - 34
  16. Apparently their reasoning was “due to the final of the Premiership Knockout Cup”. Looks like PM put his foot down for once
  17. Don’t think it makes a difference either way, will be a cheap night for Buster regardless. We’ve done our job with three home wins against the witches this season. Good luck to them in the final
  18. The manner of the defeat from being 8 points up. The patched up opposition. The fact that their ‘Russian Rocket’ looked disinterested. That Doyle was being outgated, outmanoeuvred and outsmarted. That their second string/engine room is not up to par. That they have no high-scoring rising star. That their lord and saviour Hawkins is tactically inept - DT could/should have taken 7 rides. The only saving grace for Ipswich tonight was Thompson. He can hold his head up high.
  19. I think we had the same a couple of years ago against BV, where R Lambert, S Lambert and Anders Rowe banged in 40/46 points. This obviously takes the mustard though given the opposition!
  20. Ipswich won’t win anything with the team as it is currently. It is inexcusable to let an 8-point lead slip to a patched up team consisting of an injured no. 5, 3 second strings, 2 reserves and a rising star.
  21. It was a Rob Lyon tactical masterclass tonight. Picked exactly the right moments for Reserve Switch & Tac Sub
  22. Laguta would’ve spoke to Woffinden, Bewley and Janowski about the KL track prior to signing…so that can’t be used as an excuse. Plus he actually attended for most of the home meetings, it was just the away ones he ditched Tarasenko would’ve spoke with uncle Laguta prior to signing, rode it in 2023 (scoring 8+1), and obviously Rob was Pboro team manager in 23 and KL manager in 24, so would’ve known all about the track Cook has done enough laps around King’s Lynn (as an Ace and as a Panther), as well as guesting numerous times in 24. Always seemed to go well round it Musielak it’s probably his best track in the UK, especially as an away rider. It’s definitely not the surface that is the issue, it’s either the riders riding it, or the Club/promotion in general. I’ll stick by Lynn through thick and thin, but the common denominator here is that the Club/promotion is the issue - and the lack of transparency around why riders leave has to be questioned, if not by fans then Phil Morris
