  1. TBF he did prove that last Thursday. The fact the decision was made to use a T/S when Jakobsen was the other rider, it was never going to materialise into anything positive.
  2. Agree with everything you say apart from the T/S decision in heat 12. Feel like the aces 4-2 was likely anyway even without the T/S. Would of been much better used in heat 14 or 11. Bid hey what do I know, I'm not a team manager...thank god
  3. It's a shame it's this way but as a starting point keeping meetings competitive is a big step forward for us at present.
  4. Think we'll see Pickering back on Thursday. Maybe Jakobsen was planned if the "change" was to bring in another Ekstraliga rider. Tungate hasn't had the greatest shows at the AFA...
  5. The whole team should be doing better in general. However, I will give them their dues it appears to be much more competitive tonight than what I expected...
  6. Must have been in the pipeline and planned. Can't imagine it was off the cuff. Maybe that's why the regime made him captain to try and convince him to stay...
  7. Which again, imho is around his level. He is a 4-6 rider. He could score 8-10 at home (on a good night) but he's always going to be 3-5 away. Unfortunately, that is the way it is. We can't afford passengers but we've had to get used to it.
  8. He started the season on a 6.35 GSA. He's never a 6.35 rider imho. I would say his current average 5.74 is about his level.
  9. I don't think you can expect too much from TJ. He's got an inflated average for some reason.
  10. KK could be back in contention with only 2 riders from Ekstraliga allowed.
  11. "An unchanged one-to-seven is named by the Stars, who are continuing to assess their options going forward". This makes me think that change was planned, probably someone from the continent and they couldn't get it over the line in time imo.
  12. Don't look like there's any changes ahead of tomorrow's meeting according to the preview: http://www.kingslynn-speedway.com/news.php?extend.31362
  13. It is such a sad state of affairs. Obviously everyone wants to win and against Peterborough everyone should have a guaranteed 4 wins (except KL). But, you at least want the meeting to be competitive, no one wants to see blow outs meeting after meeting.
  14. Any inkling who you think the change could be BB? I really can't see it being Tungate. He is a similar mould to C Holder and Bachelor. I know Buster isn't running the day-to-day anymore at KL but he still must have some sway. Then again if he's prepared to have him at Peterborough then clearly he doesn't see him that way.
  15. But Ben Cook is currently in the main body of the team as well. Technically with only 1 addition at present, Hans is the one with a lower average. I see your team 1-7 as this (without any further replacements). 1. NKI 2. BC / Tarasenko 3. BB 4. Tarasenko / BC 5. RW 6. HA 7. JJ Obviously, this will change if you do manage to get further signing over the line.
  16. 5? Because you haven't technically replaced anyone with that 1 signing.
  17. Well I definitely know he's got strong shoulders...
  18. Artem could pull a few strings at Wroclaw....
  19. As much as I like Josh and think he's a terrific rider, he was thrown in the deep end massively last year think he rode at every HL position. He definitely was never going to be No.1, potentially a No.5, but even then I think that was asking a lot. His best position would be in the engine room, but unfortunately, circumstances prevented that from happening so it's no surprise his average dropped. I would welcome him back with open arms, but he certainly needs to put some meetings in with Edinburgh and in Poland first to get back to full fitness.
  20. It's one they slipped in again just like the Thursday priority.
