  1. Let's hope so. Just depends whether Buster would want to sell the stadium as well at some point? Not that the Norfolk Arena is ripe for anything apart from a tin shed in its place
  2. With today's transfer deadline fast approaching, I don't think we will be seeing any new additions to the team. With new averages coming into effect tomorrow, MPT moves back up to 2nd, with everyone able to take a ride in R/R. Can also just see us using guests for TJ for the remainder of the season (Ben Barker) comes to mind. Unless we make an 11th hour signing of BB until the end of the season. Absolute shambles of a season from start to finish. Just hope we're at tapes in '24 in some form, along with Peterborough, Wolves and Leicester (maybe even Sheffield if Bates wants out at Leicester).
  3. I'm sure the man could at least pay for Brancaster or Holkham
  4. One for your programme already, Ben Barker in the 1-7 against Ipswich on Thursday replacing TJ
  5. Does anyone know what's going on with MPT? Half of the 50/50 draw was for him apparently. Also presenter made a remark that he's struggling mentally, physically and financially. Doesn't seem like he's going to be riding the rest of the year, and yet no replacement is being touted with the impending transfer deadline in 4 days...
  6. http://www.kingslynn-speedway.com/news.php?extend.31395 No Artem (wrist injury suffered at the weekend)....
  7. Still no preview, similar to Monday. Can't see this one going ahead. Looks like some dreaded double headers may be on the cards...
  8. I would imagine there will be a bigger crowd tonight from the Danish ultras.
  9. @Flappy won't be impressed. Pboro are over 6 points under the limit with 1st August averages. Not that I can say anything, we're over 4!!!
  10. 3, 0, 0, 1, 3, 2, 1, 1, 3, 3, 3, 2, 1, 0, 1, 3
  11. Fair enough. As I said, can only base it on weather I've experienced here in Lynn. Thank you for clearing it up.
  12. I think the decision to call it off might have been a bit hasty though. Don't know what the weatger is like in Peterborough, but in Lynn it hasn't rained since around 12 and is dry, sunny and breezy now, perfect weather to dry out a track. I remember last year in August I went to a Pboro v Lynn meeting and it absolutely hammered it down all day. The start was delayed until around 8.30 as they were working on the track, turned out to be a good meeting in the end...
  13. There's going to come a point in time though when he is going to have to pay it. Financially I would say it makes more sense to pay from Peterborough's gate receipts opposed to Lynn's as they seem to achieve higher attendances. For instance, on Thursday. I cannot see that being a big turnout (unless I'm proven wrong) but he's going to have to stump up for it then, weather permitting of course.
  14. Emil Breum could be exciting? Plus - Uncle Vs Nephew in heats 13 & 15
  15. I would imagine they would want another new recruit in before the next meeting...
  16. Get your boy MT to get his chequebook out then
  17. Panthers fans don't seem impressed by it all
  18. Personally I think it's Bomber's turnaround in fortunes compared to meeting in June. However, that Leicester team did have Nick Morris instead of Bachelor. I guess it all balances it out. I think overall the better team won, Lynn just weren't able to capitalise on getting in good positions early on in heats.
  19. A MPT replacement is needed unless he's due to return imminently...? Even if he is back on the bike next week, he's still not going to be race fit for a few meetings
  20. Well Chris Louis would have never heard of Emil Breum anyway
  21. I would imagine a 5 as that's what Rew came in on at Ipswich. He might drop to reserve though for next month as Simon Lambert's average will take him into the 1-5
  22. I'll give you odds of Thomson coming in to replace Hans...
