I think the decision to call it off might have been a bit hasty though. Don't know what the weatger is like in Peterborough, but in Lynn it hasn't rained since around 12 and is dry, sunny and breezy now, perfect weather to dry out a track. I remember last year in August I went to a Pboro v Lynn meeting and it absolutely hammered it down all day. The start was delayed until around 8.30 as they were working on the track, turned out to be a good meeting in the end...

There's going to come a point in time though when he is going to have to pay it. Financially I would say it makes more sense to pay from Peterborough's gate receipts opposed to Lynn's as they seem to achieve higher attendances. For instance, on Thursday. I cannot see that being a big turnout (unless I'm proven wrong) but he's going to have to stump up for it then, weather permitting of course.

Emil Breum could be exciting? Plus - Uncle Vs Nephew in heats 13 & 15

I promise I'm not a witch... -
I would imagine they would want another new recruit in before the next meeting...

Get your boy MT to get his chequebook out then

Panthers fans don't seem impressed by it all

Personally I think it's Bomber's turnaround in fortunes compared to meeting in June. However, that Leicester team did have Nick Morris instead of Bachelor. I guess it all balances it out. I think overall the better team won, Lynn just weren't able to capitalise on getting in good positions early on in heats. -
A MPT replacement is needed unless he's due to return imminently...? Even if he is back on the bike next week, he's still not going to be race fit for a few meetings
-
Well Chris Louis would have never heard of Emil Breum anyway
-
I would imagine a 5 as that's what Rew came in on at Ipswich. He might drop to reserve though for next month as Simon Lambert's average will take him into the 1-5
-
I'll give you odds of Thomson coming in to replace Hans...
-
Only 2 of our original 1-7 remain. I could see you guys making a move for Thomson.

Being an SGP2 rider I can't imagine he is cheaper at all

According to programme notes and meeting reports, work is being done in the background to bring in a new face. I hope that they're looking at a prospect from the continent with a view to trying to bed them in for the '24 season. -

The 50/50 prize amount was a record this season. -

As they in football, play to the whistle. Kemp done well to clear the track to be fair to him. I think the big difference maker was Bomber. When Leicester came in June he scored 2+1, and was erratic to say the least. Last night he rolled back the years on his way to 10+1. Nevertheless, a good meeting all round. At times there was some good racing, which was a positive to see. Also, from what I saw crowd numbers looked slightly up from the last home meeting against Sheffield so that's a big positive too. -

Mr Lambert and Mr Klindt will be having busy nights again. 14 rides between the pair of them (assuming Klindt takes a T/S if one is required) -

Yes, indeed that maths is correct. I'm just giving my predictions of scores across the board -

2 & 4 determine this one for me. If Lynn are to win need a minimum of 12 points between Thomson and Jorgensen. AL - 12 (5) KT - 5 (4) RS - 6 (4) TJ - 7 (4) NK - 10 (5) SL - 7 (5) AR - 2 (3) Total - 49 -

BV potentially, but i don't think so at Lynn. He does a big swoop Lap 1 Bend 2 at generating a lot of speed down the back straight, but I don't class that as passing. Some may disagree however -
Lynn fan here. Peterborough to win both meetings on 24th and 27th comfortably.

Yeah but if you look at the current 1-7 you could argue they're all a waste of money bar Lambert and what Klindt shows up...? -

I wouldn't say waste of money, I would say expensive luxury which can't be afforded when money is stretched and a bigger points return could be generated by having 2 riders instead of one. He's a very different rider in the UK compared to Poland. Here if he doesn't hit the start he doesn't want to know, but in Poland he will ride every inch of the track for 4 laps. -
I did mean homegrown riders, sorry if that wasn't clear. Obviously, Brennan would work for this
