  1. Describing that Tungate rode last night is a bit of an exaggeration. Me personally from watching on TNT is that he had no interest in riding in heat 3, hence his lack of frustration from being disqualified. If that was for Rybnik he would’ve been a lot more animated…
  2. I thought it was common knowledge that he didn’t bail and had only signed a short-term deal…
  3. Can’t see past a relatively comfortable Ipswich win tonight. 52-38. Witches 1. Doyle - 10 (4) 2. Ellis - 7 (4) 3. Sayfutdinov - 9 (4) 4. King - 9 (5) 5. Brennan - 8 (5) 6. Thompson - 6 (4) 7. Edwards - 3 (4) Total - 52 Stars 1. Kvech - 10 (6) 2. Iversen - 6 (4) 3. Harris - 5 (4) 4. Lawson - 6 (4) 5. Klindt - 8 (5) 6. Cook - 3 (4) 7. Harrison - 0 (3) Total - 38
  4. Least we know Lynn are running next year, always question marks come September time…
  5. Where the track required extensive work due to the downpour in the afternoon. If it was a normal evening it would’ve been done and dusted a lot earlier…
  6. He’s been a pretty loyal servant to Lynn the last 4 years (with a little bit of time spent with Oxford in 2024).
  7. Should be a very comfortable night at the office for the Stars. 56-34 Stars 1. Kvech - 13 (5) 2. Iversen - 8 (4) 3. Harris - 6 (4) 4. Lawson - 10 (5) 5. Klindt - 8 (4) 6. Cook - 9 (4) RS. Harrison - 2 (4) Total - 56 Spires 1. Wright - 6 (4) 2. McDiarmid (g) - 1 (3) 3. Tungate - 7 (5) 4. Palovaara - 2 (4) 5. Janowski - 10 (6) 6. Kildemand - 7 (5) RS. Killeen - 1 (3) Total - 34
  8. Lynn could potentially hit 60 now (although Buster is begging inside they don’t), as it will probably be the lowest crowd of the season. Can’t see much more than 700 being in attendance
  9. A rare home Thursday race night for the Stars in 2025 with the perfect opportunity to collect 3 points. After the surprise win on Monday at Perry Barr (hold my hands up did not expect Lewi Kerr to be our saviour), Lynn must come into this one fully expecting a convincing win. Ben Cook is due to make his second comeback at reserve this time and he should fill his boots. Musielak and Zagar will put up some resistance, but the Stars should have far too much to see them reach 50 points easily. I’m going with a 54-36 scoreline. KLS 1. Kvech - 11 (5) 2. Iversen - 7 (4) 3. Harris - 7 (4) 4. Lawson - 10 (5) 5. Klindt - 6 (4) 6. Cook - 11 (5) 7. Harrison - 2 (3) Total - 54 BB 1. Musielak - 12 (6) 2. Jeppesen - 3 (4) 3. Rew - 4 (4) 4. Castagna - 1 (3) 5. Zagar - 9 (5) 6. Barker - 6 (5) 7. Hagon - 1 (3) Total - 36
  10. Because he’s not good enough. When you’re going from Harris, Kvech and Klindt all at reserve consistently scoring 10+, Kerr is just not in the same conversation. The opportunity was there to get Ellis or D Thompson in as guest who would’ve added some firepower to reserve. It just makes me laugh how Rob says he wants the team to win every remaining fixture, however the promotion haven’t got out of their way to secure a guest to contribute to that. Kerr will score 4(4) tomorrow - 2, 0, 1, 2
  11. Very much dependent on who the guest for Cook is. If we can get Ellis or D Thompson we stand half a chance of grabbing a result
  12. Then Thompson will have to stay in one of his later heats, which I’m sure Rob is astute enough to put Klindt in
  13. It’s funny, because when you speak to different riders they all say they reach their primes at different ages - some are late 20’s other are mid 30’s

  15. We didn’t have Klindt at the beginning of July, he was riding in Poland. Z Cook was at reserve…
  16. They all need to their job for us to stand any chance, not just Klindt. Getting to 46 points is going to be tricky and will require a monumental effort from everyone. Iversen - 5(3/4) Lawson - 9(5) Harris - 7(4) Nicholls - 4(3/4) Kvech - 6(4) Klindt - 13(7) Harrison - 2(3)
  17. I see your point, but again, no disrespect to Luke as he has been doing a fine job and exceeded my expectations, but there is always a chance that an underperforming rider may just turn it on for one heat, something that I wouldn’t expect Luke to do. To me it just seems too much of a risk to use young Luke late on in meetings, especially when Leicester will have the opportunity to bring Kemp in for Thompson as well.
  18. But as a foreign rider, I thought his average couldn’t be below a 4.00, regardless of what the conversion is?
  19. I’ve questioned whether these changes breach the regulations. Surely Nick Morris will be using his established average from 2023 (6.43), and as a foreign rider doesn’t Etheridge’s average have to be 4.00 as a minimum? Removing Kerr and Sedgmen from the 1-7 leaves Sheffield with 9.91 to replace them, and combined Morris and Etheridge are 10.43, putting them at 40.52…
