  1. Unfortunately in speedway you need to be ruthless, just ask Robert Lambert - made a whole career out of it. Still no reason not to get a guest for TJ and if they struggle just replace them with Simon and Anders, which is what we will be doing with R/R anyway. Cheap night for Buster anyway without PP running so worth taking the risk on someone imho.
  2. You would like to think so. However, management don't fill me with confidence in proactivity
  3. If it's all in the greater good to ensure we're at the tapes in '24 with a competitive team then I can get behind it. Tbf the ambition was shown earlier in the season as only 1 existing member of the team remains.
  4. I can't see this being an absolute hammering. Will go with a 50-40 Sheffield Scores 1. TM - 13 2. KH - 7 3. CH - 7 4. JP - 8 5. TW - 10 6. CV - 3 7. JE - 2 King's Lynn Scores 1. RL - 16 2. TJ - RR 3. RW - 7 4. CM - 3 5. MPT - 6 6. SL - 6 7. AR - 2
  5. Cheers. I have canal channels but for some reason every one except the one speedway is on
  6. Tbf to him he was on it initially, but then when Alex left his levels did certainly drop
  7. Was pretty obvious it was coming, however bit surprised it's C Holder instead of J Holder
  8. Not as straightforward a win as some would expect if that's the case
  9. Very reliable source from someone extremely close to the club
  10. Laguta was poor at Beaumont earlier in the season. Tbf, I know he hasn't rid all UK tracks but he was poor anywhere but AFA and NSS.
  11. I've heard that Tomalin has done a big old runner and this is Buster stumping up for Artem. Maybe trying to give you a big send off?
  12. Conor Mountain, Stefan Nielsen, Kye Thomson, Paco Castagna
  13. Just surprised there has been agreement from all the big hitters that's all
  14. I think Leicester are unfortunately in a position now that if they want to make playoffs they need to take a risk. They've already done that with Batch/Cook (admittedly due to factors beyond their control) and how has that played out. It's also not exactly like those 2 are the most revered characters in the sport
  15. Assume fixture fulfillment before cut off date. Very surprising that Sheffield have been able to get Tobi and Tai (Wroclaw on Sunday) to agree to it. Same with Fricke for Leicester
  16. Artem Laguta is available. Significant team changes would be required though and he didn't seem the biggest fan of Beaumont Park
  17. His "shoulder injury" absence from tonight's meeting... Just reading between the lines
  18. Would appear that Ellis has had his marching orders
