  1. Can’t see it now. The witches will be gunning for every rider that has even shown the slightest interest in riding over here. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Doyle and Ellis out and 2 new faces in.
  2. Never understood why other UK clubs and Sweden don’t suffer the same issues. In the last two seasons Lynn have had 2 riders from Grudziaz (Jakobsen and Tarasenko) been told to walk away. Why haven’t Ipswich, Leicester and Belle Vue suffered the same problem with Doyle, Fricke and Lidsey…? And another one in Laguta fully controlled from Wroclaw. What about Bewley, Woffinden and Janowski? Not trying to make excuses for Lynn, just seems that whenever we bring in riders we are controlled by what Poland says, but doesn’t seem to affect other clubs…
  3. Well depending on how KL interpret the regulations there is no reason why those two couldn’t come in on 6.00
  4. Thankfully as per the SCB regulations they both fulfil the criteria to come in on 6pt averages
  5. 1. Tobi - 8.21 2. Basso - 6.57 3. Kvech - 6.00 4. Klindt - 6.54 5. Huckenbeck - 6.00 6. Patryk - 5.47 7. Rowe (RS) Total - 38.79 Fairytale thinking I know…
  6. 1. Tobi - 8.21 2. Patryk - 5.47 3. Basso - 6.57 4. Klindt - 6.54 5. R Lambert - 7.81 / 8.00? 6. S Lambert - 4.78 7. Rowe (RS) Total - 39.38 / 39.57 Can’t see Lambert being tempted again until August however…
  7. Glad someone cottoned on to the pun! Now I’m not an accountant, but if they’re prepared to talk to him, money can’t be an issue…
  8. Was obviously going to be appealed. According to KL statements (they did everything correctly and by the book)
  9. Personally I wouldn’t get rid of Pawlicki anyway if I was Brum. He’s riding so far out of his depth at No. 1. With Freddie coming in there is far much less pressure on him to perform if others are struggling. I think Z Cook might be the one to go, and I’d take him in a heartbeat over MPT. trouble is another change would be required anyway as that doesn’t realistically make us stronger/more competitive. Need a team to look like this: 1. Tobi 2. Birmingham castaway (Cook, Worrall) 3. Basso 4. Klindt 5. 6.5 - 7.5 rides from overseas 6. Patryk 7. Anders
  10. Definitely not what is needed at the Norfolk Arena. Could barely get through 4 laps on his last visit 02/05.
  11. Money isn’t an issue if you knew the type of Dudes that KL have been speaking too…
  12. This comment! But who do you propose? they don’t seem to be queuing up to come over to the UK, as seen by Birmingham replacing Milik with Sedgeman and they need big hitters more than what we do…
  13. Heat 1: 3-3 (J Holder, Fricke, Iversen, Howarth) Heat 2: 5-1 (Patryk, Rowe, Edwards, Gilkes) Heat 3: 2-4 (C Holder, Basso, Pickering, MPT) Heat 4: 3-3 (Woffinden, Klindt, Rowe, Gilkes) Heat 5: 3-3 (J Holder, Basso, MPT, Howarth) Heat 6: 4-2 (Fricke, Woffinden, Iversen, Edwards) Heat 7: 2-4 (Pickering, Patryk, C Holder, Klindt) Heat 8: 5-1 (Iversen, Rowe, Howarth, Gilkes) Heat 9: 3-3 (Woffinden, Basso, MPT, Edwards) Heat 10: 4-2 (Fricke, C Holder, Iversen, Pickering) Heat 11: 3-3 (J Holder, Patryk, Klindt, Howarth) Heat 12: 3-3 (C Holder, Patryk, MPT, Edwards) Heat 13: 2-4 (Woffinden, Fricke, J Holder, Klindt) Heat 14: 4-2 (Patryk, Pickering, Basso, Gilkes) Heat 15: 1-5 (Woffinden, J Holder, Fricke, Patryk) 47-43 although it is going to take an almighty effort for the boys to do it. However, after last night I think Sheffield are there for the taking. Our best riders this season are probably 2, 6 and 7 and that’s their weakness that we need to exploit.
  14. Where’s all the haters now? Not just King’s Lynn that call off meetings due to “worsening weather forecast”. Or are you all going to say that Buster conspired and blackmailed Tolley to ensure it was postponed…?
  15. But surely then he would be more keen for riders to be ‘injured’/unavailable for away meetings and user cheaper guests? we’ve had 4 away meetings, 5th to come on Monday and 2 home meetings. The riders still need to be paid for away meetings, regardless of whether we’re generating income from home meetings. Apparently there were 1400 people at the opening home meeting against BV and 1000 at the last one against BB…
  16. That’s why I said hosting and not running, as in using the venue to host the meeting. They may hire the stadium, but I’m sure he must receive a percentage of all gate revenue…
  17. Don’t know if is son is still involved, but a variety of different income streams: 1. Owning the stadium and hosting stock cars/bangers which bring in significantly more money than speedway 2. owning the stadium and renting it out for track days 3. Construction / groundworks company There might be others, but they are the main 3 I know of the top of my head
  18. I know this is early even before the Ipswich meeting, but that one is dead and gone before it even starts. So focus shifts to Thursday already. Poland have added a Polish Championship fixture to the calendar without notifying anyone therefore, we would have been without Tobi (obviously already absent) and Patryk. 3 teams are not in action on Thursday: Oxford, Birmingham and Ipswich, so 1 (potentially 2 guests) may need to be found. 1. Guest for Tobi (Tungate, Brennan, Harris) unless a suitable 28-day replacement is found 2. NKI 3. MPT 4. BB 5. NKI 6 PW? If not available we have to try and get Scott in 7. AR Looks like it’s going to be a tough one again unless we manage to make some team changes who hit the ground running.
  19. I heard that he already had the collarbone in question plated and as part of the crash dislodged it. Don’t know if that complicates the surgery/recovery time…
  20. Tobi has been confirmed to have suffered a broken collarbone with surgery due on Monday. Following the operation his timescale of absence should become clearer, however, can assume at least 4-6 weeks. But who knows if his Polish club will allow him to come back given he crashed in the UK. Desperately need 2 replacements in place for the meeting against Leicester on Thursday, or else the season is over by the 9th May. Cannot run like this for the rest of the season or the result against Birmingham will be the first and only win of the season. 1. R/R or lacklustre guests 2. NKI 3. MPT 4. BB 5. NK 6. PW 7. AR The crowd again on Thursday was good (compared to last season), but the fans shouldn’t and won’t put up with seeing below par teams cobbled together week in week out. this is how I see us fairing against Leicester with no replacements best case scenario: 44:46 1. R/R - 2. NKI - 8 (5) 3. MPT - 3 (4) 4. BB - 12 (6) 5. NK - 9 (6) 6. PW - 8 (5) 7. AR - 4 (4) Total - 44
  21. As per KL website R/R will be used with no suitable guests available, and therefore the remaining 6 can take a ride. Heat 1 - NK Heat 6 - BB Heat 10 - PW Heat 13 - NKI would be my guess
  22. Only a bit of fun, no need to be so bitter…
  23. Only comes in on an 8 average after completing 2 seasons as a regular
  24. If money was no object, but keeping it somewhat realistic, what would your team be to fit in a 40 point limit? mine as follows (based on current averages): 1. Tobiasz Musielak - 8.33 2. Ben Basso - 6.68 3. Kai Huckenbeck - 6.0(ass) 4. Nicolai Klindt - 6.48 5. Robert Lambert - 7.81 6. Patryk Wojdylo - 4.63 7. Anders Rowe - RS Total - 39.93 Tell me that team doesn’t win the league…
  25. Not proud to say I have too much free time on my hands! I wish I did, then KL would have a superstar lineup!
