  1. Think you have to complete 2 consecutive seasons in the GP to then be assessed as an 8
  2. Not many riders left who are around that average. The Kildemand signing is very strange especially on the rumoured 6.00 average he is coming in on. Oxford are going to have to bring another rider from the continent over, I would say options include: Thorssell - 7.33 Tarasenko - 6.77 Huckenbeck - 6.00 (reassessed) Apart from them three. I really can’t see any other realistic signings…
  3. Stars Spires 1. Lawson 1. Tungate (tick) 2. Kvech (tick) 2. Riss 3. Iversen (tick) 3. Wright 4. Klindt (tick) 4. Klidemand 5. Cook 5. Janowski (tick) 6. Harris (tick) 6. ? 7. Boughen (tick) 7. Killeen Thats how I break it down when doing a comparison.
  4. League predictions for 2025 season 1. Glasgow Tigers 2. Poole Pirates 3. Redcar Bears 4. Workington Comets 5. Scunthorpe Scorpions 6. Berwick Bandits 7. Oxford Cheetahs 8. Edinburgh Monarchs 9. Plymouth Gladiators Semi-final 1 Winner: Glasgow Tigers Semi-final 2 Winner: Poole Pirates Grand-final Winner: Glasgow Tigers
  5. Well I’ve already got it wrong with Jeppesson coming in instead of Hansen. But, to answer your question Kim
  6. Your good Belle Vue friend who this post was in response wanted to critique the King’s Lynn team, so I thought I’d give my twopence on his beloved Aces.
  7. Not that it probably matters, but they’ve cheaped out somewhat with the Cheetahs team, so can imagine they’ll bring in a big hitter now
  8. Birmingham: Nillsson Hansen Thorsell Oxford: Dudek Kerr
  9. But are they also not entitled to make a profit for their business?
  10. Brady’s antics means that it has already been witnessed this year when we chose to ride in Poland and GP qualifiers when supposedly “injured” preventing him riding in the UK. This is the same situation as other riders and Aces fans openly slaughter other clubs for it. All I’m suggesting there will be a lot more pressure on him this season from the GPs and wanting to perform, as well as Wroclaw who will have no hesitation in blocking him from riding in the UK if it’s in their best interests. I think the UK will be slipping further down his pecking order, but time will tell.
  11. The antics refers to him choosing to race in Poland and GP qualifiers than England when supposedly “injured”. This is coming from a Lynn fan who’s riders and everyone else’s riders get slaughtered for doing the exact same thing…
  12. 1. Bewley - will never be the 10+ rider everyone wants/expects him to be 2. Blodorn - has found his limit. A decent 2nd string who is too inconsistent to be anything more 3. Lidsey - in my opinion worse than B Cook who they’ve let go to keep Jaimon. Will never score enough points away from home 4. Z Cook - big downgrade on his brother. If he was at reserve a great signing, in the main body not so much. 5. Kurtz - Will Brady be as committed to UK speedway next year? Big season making his GP debut, as well as stepping up to Wroclaw… question marks raised over him this season with his antics, could we see even more next year? 6. Zischke - no one can question his talent and potential, but coming back from that serious of an injury and seeing all the away tracks for the first time, does make me feel nervous for Aces reserves 7. Mulford - the 2nd worst RS in the league with only Hagon behind him Again, like this year putting far too much pressure on Dan, Brady and Jaimon to score 35+ points a meeting to get them over the line. a longer tail than last year and worse 2nd string support. Aces will make the playoffs but that will be the end of the road for them
  13. 1. Musielak - 8.21 2. Nilsson - 6 3. Thorsell - 6 4. Hansen - 6 5. Zagar - 7.2 6. Rew - 5.67 7. Edwards- RS Total - 39.08
  14. And his away meetings when he was Lynn brought a haul of 14 points from 3 meetings at an average of 5.09… not exactly 2021 World Champion level…
  15. If every meeting was at the AFA KK would’ve been fine😂 he averaged 10.4 at home, however, a measly 2.91 away
  16. I heard Mads Hansen was a deal that nearly happened also
  17. If that’s true then that’s a great signing. Lynn were close to getting him last season before Kvech came in
  18. Last season he raced in League 2 for Polonia Pila, and anyone riding in that league the max assessed average they come in on is 4.5. Not sure if he’s changed club for 2025, but on the assumption he is still in League 2, I’m certain he’d come in on 4.5
  19. I’ve seen on other threads (can’t recall where) that someone kindly provided a link to all the confirmed signings in Poland, Sweden and Denmark. If someone has it, would they be able to drop it in this thread? Thanks in advance
  20. As per the 2024 Regulations Rasmus would come in on a 7.50 starting average if his previous one (7.86 - 2019) was reassessed. He has also stated previously that someone would have to pay serious money to get him back over to the UK. It does seem that Tolley is going balls to the wall this season, but maybe Jensen is a stretch too far. If I was Brummies fan, I’d be very happy with the rumoured lineup that looks very likely to happen. Not saying that it will win the league by any stretch of the imagination, but should provide entertainment and be competitive: 1. Musielak - 8.21 2. Rew - 5.67 3. Thorsell - 7.33 4. Nilsson - 6.00 5. Zagar - 7.2 6. Jepessen - 4.5 7. Edwards - RS Total - 38.91
  21. For all our wrongs, us boys in Norfolk do know a thing or two…😉
  22. League table: 1. Ipswich 2. Belle Vue 3. Sheffield 4. King’s Lynn 5. Oxford 6. Birmingham 7. Leicester Play-off Winner 1 - Ipswich Play-off Winner 2 - Belle Vue Grand Final Winner - Ipswich
