  1. I think Oxford will sneak it, but Lynn have done enough in the first leg to make it through untroubled. 48-42 (85-95). OXS 1. Tungate - 10 2. Riss - 5 3. Wright - 8 4. Kildemand - 6 5. Janowski - 11 6. Gusts - 6 7. Killeen - 2 Total - 48 KLS 1. Cook - 6 2. Lawson - 7 3. Klindt - 6 4. Iversen - 5 5. Kvech - 7 6. Harris - 9 7. Boughen - 2 Total - 42
  2. Could be worse, you could be Drew Kemp at the Media Day walking around in Craig Cook’s suit…

  4. What are everyone’s early predictions for this one? I’ll go with a 51 - 39. Scorers below: KLS 1. Cook - 7 2. Klindt - 8 3. Iversen - 6 4. Kvech - 9 5. Lawson - 10 6. Harris - 9 7. Boughen - 2 OS 1. Tungate - 8 2. Riss - 5 3. Wright - 7 4. Kildemand - 5 5. Janowski - 11 6. Gusts - 2 7. Killeen - 1
  5. The real winners today though… the tractor racing fans
  6. Just seen that they have bangers on Saturday night (15th), no doubt that will mean the track won’t be 100% for Niels’ testimonial on Sunday…

  8. I was at the Lattice House over Christmas - unless it’s shut again since? I could swear when I walked past recently it was still open, could be wrong though
  9. The Lattice House in the town centre is a good option; also Bank House or Marriotts Warehouse along the quay
  10. As much as I want to dream that this can happen it’s going to require a lot of things going our way this season: We will require Kvech or Cook to step up and be a genuine No.1 home and away Will have to get a lot of meetings done by Heat 13 as there could be a 12-point swing in the final 3 heats (using a T/S in ht 14) No injuries which is becoming an all too familiar trend. And if we do get an injury a replacement is brought in immediately of equal strength Winning every home meeting (even against Ipswich), which theoretically should be possible with the team we have, as they all enjoy the AFA Not getting absolutely pumped away from home and keeping it competitive to ensure we pick up more aggregate points than we lose If we’re going to push Ipswich, realistically that means we’re going to have to finish 2nd or 3rd in the league. If we finish 4th, Ipswich will just dump us out in the semis
  11. What do we think the format and standard/lineups for Puk’s testimonial will be? It would be great to see him get some big names over considering his standing in the sport - but can’t see that happening, unfortunately. I’ll go with a King’s Lynn Stars Select vs Denmark for the format. Standard league match format. My guess at lineups would be: KLSS 1. R Lambert 2. Harris 3. Lawson 4. B Cook 5. Janowski 6. Kerr 7. Boughen Denmark 1. Iversen 2. Jeppessen 3. Jepsen Jensen 4. Klindt 5. Kildemand 6. Borke 7. Knudsen
  12. Apologies - I did misread your post and thought you meant a Bank Holiday double header. Please excuse my ignorance
  13. The Lynn away meeting at Ipswich, yes. There is no mention of the reverse fixture as a ‘double header’.
  14. I don’t think there is one. I know there was a lot of talk of it taking place, but neither have it on their fixture schedules - unless a separate announcement is going to bed made…
  15. Assuming he comes in on an assessed 4.5?
  16. What do we think the averages of the Brummies team will be for ‘25? If the regulations remain the same as ‘24 then I see it being as this: 1. Musielak - 8.21 2. Jeppessen - 4.5 3. Zagar - 7.2 4. Rew - 5.67 5. Jepsen Jensen - 7.5 6. Voulas - 4.13 7. Edwards - RS Total - 37.21
  17. Tarasenko? Basso? Jakobsen? Can’t see it being anyone who hasn’t already rode in the UK recently. Season is 2 months away and organising logistics, visas, starting permissions etc isn’t a 5 minute job
  18. Think you have to complete 2 consecutive seasons in the GP to then be assessed as an 8
  19. Not many riders left who are around that average. The Kildemand signing is very strange especially on the rumoured 6.00 average he is coming in on. Oxford are going to have to bring another rider from the continent over, I would say options include: Thorssell - 7.33 Tarasenko - 6.77 Huckenbeck - 6.00 (reassessed) Apart from them three. I really can’t see any other realistic signings…
  20. Stars Spires 1. Lawson 1. Tungate (tick) 2. Kvech (tick) 2. Riss 3. Iversen (tick) 3. Wright 4. Klindt (tick) 4. Klidemand 5. Cook 5. Janowski (tick) 6. Harris (tick) 6. ? 7. Boughen (tick) 7. Killeen Thats how I break it down when doing a comparison.
  21. League predictions for 2025 season 1. Glasgow Tigers 2. Poole Pirates 3. Redcar Bears 4. Workington Comets 5. Scunthorpe Scorpions 6. Berwick Bandits 7. Oxford Cheetahs 8. Edinburgh Monarchs 9. Plymouth Gladiators Semi-final 1 Winner: Glasgow Tigers Semi-final 2 Winner: Poole Pirates Grand-final Winner: Glasgow Tigers
  22. Well I’ve already got it wrong with Jeppesson coming in instead of Hansen. But, to answer your question Kim
