  1. The manner of the defeat from being 8 points up. The patched up opposition. The fact that their ‘Russian Rocket’ looked disinterested. That Doyle was being outgated, outmanoeuvred and outsmarted. That their second string/engine room is not up to par. That they have no high-scoring rising star. That their lord and saviour Hawkins is tactically inept - DT could/should have taken 7 rides. The only saving grace for Ipswich tonight was Thompson. He can hold his head up high.
  2. I think we had the same a couple of years ago against BV, where R Lambert, S Lambert and Anders Rowe banged in 40/46 points. This obviously takes the mustard though given the opposition!
  3. Ipswich won’t win anything with the team as it is currently. It is inexcusable to let an 8-point lead slip to a patched up team consisting of an injured no. 5, 3 second strings, 2 reserves and a rising star.
  4. It was a Rob Lyon tactical masterclass tonight. Picked exactly the right moments for Reserve Switch & Tac Sub
  5. Laguta would’ve spoke to Woffinden, Bewley and Janowski about the KL track prior to signing…so that can’t be used as an excuse. Plus he actually attended for most of the home meetings, it was just the away ones he ditched Tarasenko would’ve spoke with uncle Laguta prior to signing, rode it in 2023 (scoring 8+1), and obviously Rob was Pboro team manager in 23 and KL manager in 24, so would’ve known all about the track Cook has done enough laps around King’s Lynn (as an Ace and as a Panther), as well as guesting numerous times in 24. Always seemed to go well round it Musielak it’s probably his best track in the UK, especially as an away rider. It’s definitely not the surface that is the issue, it’s either the riders riding it, or the Club/promotion in general. I’ll stick by Lynn through thick and thin, but the common denominator here is that the Club/promotion is the issue - and the lack of transparency around why riders leave has to be questioned, if not by fans then Phil Morris
  6. That is correct. However, I don’t think anyone can question Emil’s commitment to UK speedway since he’s returned
  7. But it doesn’t happen to other clubs, that’s the issue. Look at the riders everyone else has that ride in the top 2 divisions in Poland and ask yourself the question does the same thing happen? Belle Vue Kurtz & Bewley - Wroclaw Lidsey - Grudziadz Blodorn - Poznan Birmingham Musielak - Krosno Zagar - Tarnow Rew - Rzeszow Ipswich Sayfutdinov - Torun Doyle - Czestochowa Brennan - Bydgoszcz Leicester Fricke - Grudziadz Douglas - Poznan Becker - Ostrow Oxford Janowski - Wroclaw Tungate - Rybnik Sheffield J Holder - Lublin C Holder - Rybnik Pickering - Leszno Rowe - Ostrow
  8. Surely the KO cup final would’ve been in the international speedway Calendar first, as well as it being a Monday protected race night for UK, Poland should swivel IMHO and that should be the stance Phil Morris needs to take if his role is worth anything?
  9. Lynn supposedly back to full strength for this one according to Ipswich’s preview… LINE-UPS KING’S LYNN: 1. Niels-Kristian Iversen 6.74 2. Richard Lawson 6.25 3. Chris Harris 6.69 4. Ben Cook 6.04 5. Jan Kvěch 6.49 6. Nicolai Klindt © 6.02 7. Jody Scott (G) (RS). Team Manager: Rob Lyon IPSWICH: 1. Jason Doyle 9.07 2. Danny King © 6.65 3. Emil Sayfutdinov 8.87 4. Adam Ellis 5.57 5. Tom Brennan 7.09 6. Dan Thompson 5.09 7. Jason Edwards (G) (RS). Team Manager: Ritchie Hawkins Will expect a closer meeting than last time with DT in reserve and Doyle back to the level he should be. 47-43.
  10. Like you say, Oxford probably picked the right guest, but can’t see the rest of them getting close to Leicester. 54-36.
  11. Think he’s the one that needs the backbone, hiding behind his pre-meeting comments to make his point. Why doesn’t he come out to centre (concrete) green on Monday and voice his issues? So what if we’re swapping our R/S each meeting? We have been given approval to do so, if Ipswich haven’t that’s not our problem, and as such no need to NameDrop us into the argument.
  12. Would have to be 1 home and 1 away though - 22 fixtures each is plenty
  13. No doubt he’d be moaning because Lynn would’ve used the same one he wanted at that time, but we got “special treatment”.
  14. I agree, this is why Ipswich fans shouldn’t throw stones as too many of them live in glass houses. And this is why Hawkins shouldn’t be concerning himself with what is happening at Lynn now.
  15. We weren’t, but life moves on. We were supposed to have Jenkins at RS this year (even though I think it’s wrong anyway that he was allowed back into the scheme after opting out in 2024), but Ipswich kicked up such a stink that they couldn’t retain him once he opted back into the scheme that he stayed there. So much for the draft system…
  16. Would love to see us do a job on them again on Monday. Hawkins’ face would paint a 1000 words.
  17. Easy to moan about other teams manipulating/cheating but just look at your RS situation at the start of the season. Think you’ll find Jenkins opted out of the scheme in 2024, but somehow managed to get shoehorned back into it for Ipswich’s benefit in 25…
  18. Why does Hawkins feel the need to have to drag us into everyone one of his pre-meeting comments? Crack on and worry about yourself lads, no need to concern yourself with what’s going on with us…
  19. It will all come out in the wash that Sheffield were the ones pushing for this meeting to be postponed with neither Holder bros in attendance…
  20. Why should he ride for Brum? They could’ve kept him in their declared 1-7 and got guests to fill the void between then and now. But what they decided to do was replace him with Hagon. Loyalty is a 2-way street and Brum didn’t show any to him whilst he was injured, so why should Edwards show it now? As others have said he’s self-employed and I’m sure Ipswich are paying more per point than what Birmingham are/would, so financially it makes more sense for Jason…
