Top league again they have clearly lost the plot ! -
Poole is very close (admitted it’s the inner Quay)

Every other week would be an improvement! Crazy people get out of the habit with these breaks.Needs to be same day every week and on a day that works for the track.Friday or Saturday to get me back too.
-
Needs someone with money to get involved.Various people keen to help (me included) but without financial backing nothing is going to happen.

Why does everybody hate Poole?
Wessexbobcat replied to FishersGate's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
They are very good at what they do.Sadly they have no interest in the other clubs just their own interests. -
The owners sadly don’t want speedway there and are prepared to play the long game eventually building on it.They have to re home the football which has proved a challenge!I so miss Friday nights at the Wessex.Best hope in my opinion would be a field elsewhere along the lines of Somerset.Needs someone with deep pockets mind . The football club as far as I’m aware are happy at the Wessex ,money needs spending on it though. The owners of all the land around it including the ex track want to build .As to where the football goes that’s the big question? No where suitable has been found so the Wessex lives on ,sadly not the speedway site though.

Probably not,the fact that riders ride for more than one team puts me off already. When we last ran at Weymouth some riders did double up but were trying to break into the second not ride in all three divisions. If someone set up a team with the intention of returning Weymouth as a stand alone club I probably would watch . -

Couldn’t agree more.GP stops all weekend speedway and attracts people who won’t go again until the next one! -

Not interested without a club to follow.I don’t think the cost justifies what you get either.15 races of follow your leader, same riders double up down guest amateur at best .I probably won’t bother online with speedway soon. Will always remember the 70’s and 80’s National League great racing no guests , or playoffs and proper tac sub rule. They call it progress maybe?(self distract I think)
