Bad day for Leicester fans as I’ve heard that if it ends up only being 1 league in British Speedway, Stewart Dickson will snub Leicester to focus on Berwick.

Great news, hope Etheridge is the first name on his team sheet.

Etheridge very good in the final tonight - no doubt about that, but I can’t be the only one who wouldn’t go anywhere near him when it comes to building our team for next season. He’s been a decent servant for Berwick but if you want to go and win trophies you can’t have him in your 1-5, especially away from home where he is woeful. thoughts?

RIP Peterborough Speedway Best race track I’ve visited in this country. Very sad day!

Ridiculous that Tarasenko is allowed to ride at Championship level by the way, never mind him being on a 5 point average. One of the reasons the sport is on its arse in this country. Can’t blame the ‘splash the cash Tigers’ however, great coup for them!

Proud of the the Bandits tonight, didn’t sit around and moan about the track conditions, just went out on the track and gave it their best shot. Congratulations to Glasgow! Whatever happened to the fours by the way? Always loved the fours and would love to see them return.

Here at the Ecco Arena today. Gutted that both Bandits are heading home empty handed, however they gave it a great go. Roll on next season when we win it all and Bandit59 swaps Glasgow for Berwick once again

You’ll come running back to Shielfield in a couple of years when Ashfield is demolished and turned into another ‘Allied Vehicles’ carpark. If you can’t ‘get behind the lads’ during the bad times, you don’t deserve the good times.

Sad to hear that young Berwick NJL superstar Owen Booths season has come to an end. He’s made some great progress this year and hopefully he can kick on again next year. Definitely one to watch out for in the future for the Bandits!

Hans Anderson turning right on Steve Worrall on the back straight then left down the home straight was definitely the highlight of the night - unreal

Poole somehow managing to squeeze a team GB World Cup star in at reserve might’ve had a say on the result tonight. Pleased with the effort from the Berwick lads however, Knudsen getting his average down for Redcar next season?

Hopefully the travelling Poole fans get to see a decent meeting tomorrow night, although even just a singular pass will top the dross they watch at Wimborne Road every week.

What average are they both coming in on?

Hans Anderson is a Bandit!

Rory Schlein would’ve got more than Worrall - no doubt about that. Fair enough TJ probably wouldn’t have won 2 races but Sedgy didn’t exactly score too well in the end. Hooky would’ve got atleast 6 tonight - far more than Luke Killeen. Guests didn’t improve us and the small group of travelling bears can be thankful that we weren’t at full strength tonight - it could’ve been a cricket score.

Plastic. Bet you’ll be rushing back to Shielfield next week now that we’re heading for the playoffs!

Redcar’s performance matched the away support - bang average. As for the Bandits, well what can I say - even without our two star men we still managed to keep Shielfield a fortress. Can you imagine if we had a fully fit Rory and TJ tonight? I certainly would’ve fancied us for the bonus point!

Bandits very unlucky tonight. Boxall and Pearson brilliant but we just didn’t win enough races to challenge Edinburgh - always going to be difficult against Cookie and Picko. Normal service resumed for Jye Etheridge tonight, and as much as I wish TJ a very speedy recovery, I hope it’s the last we see of him at Berwick - got to go down as one of the worst ever signings after dropping 3pts on his average in just 3.5months. Onto Redcar at the fortress now and a massive match in our quest for that final playoff spot!

No doubt Glasgow will throw the cheque book at him next season.

What a night of speedway! Gutted it didn’t go our way, but that’s life. Looking forward to visiting the West Lothian Community Stadium next week as we attempt to gain the all important bonus point.
