Lawson 8.48,cook 7.39 and Brennan 7.15 not exactly top heavy in my books

That is the more realistic option imo gives a decent reserve all season long Aslong as Oxford don’t weaken there own team during the season like this season,don’t think it would win them the league if they wanted to they would have to have musielak at no1 or a top heatleader and have a dominant top 4.

Or maybe he doesn’t want Joe Thompson on a 5.62 average to go alongside his brother his average would drop in the 1-5 alarmingly,I would be surprised if it was above 4.50 after a full season in the 1-5.

Potentially that could happen,but to have only 5 matches left at that point in time would be rare,but I wouldn’t be against that planning.

Your pulling these teams out this morning lol,I would say that looks spot on I’m guessing Gilkes has a fair chance of being at Oxford going from his performances and a straight choice between Heeps and Jenkins which based on performance this season is close but overall as a rider I’d go with Jenkins.

From what I’m hearing that team is looking very likely now,I would be pretty happy with that,the team defo has plenty of balance to it,decent enough top4 to get you through meetings plus Thomsen and Foord who have proved better than there averages and when cairns comes in then you’ll most likely have Thomsen back at reserve again.

Don’t forget the 2.5% reductions for all British riders Il save you the hassle for Lawson he is 9.17

I heard they want a bit of continuity any riders riding in top flight for Oxford more than likely ride for them in championship which is fair enough

With that rumoured team I would be very happy with that powerhouse top 3 Pickering very gd back up most tracks now,Anders Rowe will find it tough but he’s only going in one direction and the reserves know the Sheffield track and all of the away tracks well enough now,you’ve gotta have a few risks in team building but also make sure you have enough heat winners and that team should have plenty.

Cheers would of liked Vinnie to stay tbh you know the reasoning for Vinnie to Glasgow as I’m guessing Poole haven’t offered him a deal which seems strange.

If that’s correct then that’s Ashame continually get weakened year on year where as they make the premiership stronger each year,a lot of championship clubs got to rip up there teams every year with this stupid 38pt limit for 7 riders essentially forcing riders to jump around and end up being less competitive every year so there ends up being there’s no continuity and then fan base dwindles.

Where are Vinnie and Sam going? Thomsen was 50/50 for me done well majority of season but seems to have tailed off at the end. If Poole go with Lawson 9.17 with 2.5% reduction Rowe 6.11 with 2.5% reduction Z Cook 6.23 Total 21.51 hopefully they push the limit upto atleast 40 for the benefit of the league ideally 42 would be better but can’t see a huge increase upto 42 so 40 would be progress. im assuming 2.5%reduction is still in place would Poole go with someone to fit in between Rowe and Lawson in the averages…that’s the big question but I would be happy that Rowe signs as he’s definitely progressing every season.

Ben and Tom plus Sam Hagon I’d say, l wouldnt lose any sleep if Zach Cook went aswell but can’t see that happening.

Asked him at testimonial and he said everything went ok. back on topic thoughts for next years team,think Ben cook and Brennan will go leaving a 2nd heatleader birth spare and I’m assuming Zach would be at no3. 2 riders I’d like back would be Danny king and Anders Rowe wether they want that is another matter completely and the points limit,but that would be a decent top 4 would come to around 29-30pts.
