Yeah, I was excited when we got the news that WBD was gonna run it. But seeing where they’ve taken it after 4 years, I do prefer BSI.. but I get your point.

WBD is one of the worse things that has happened to speedway. But Latosinski must be the worst thing

Will end up being just like any other non-Zmarzlik Pole. Will deliver few good heats during the season and then we are forgetting about them again... unfortunately.

And that also brings the news that Leon Madsen is back on the national team. He'll be needed for SON later this year.

Just like in any other sport, we are good at starting out good and then throw it away later 😅

Madsen's absence from the Danish Final has nothing to do with his issues on the national team. He simply didn't register to compete in the semi-finals. Also, AFAIK the national team would be happy to have him in the squad...

Let's remember that this year, the highest finishing non-SGP rider will earn the Wild Card spot for the Vojens SGP later this year.

The four highest-scoring riders from the main round advance to the final. Points earned in the final are added to the total score to determine the championship. In the event of a tie after the final heat, the riders' finishing positions in the final will decide the final standings.

So the qualifier from Zarnovica has been removed from fim-moto tv. After paying for their GP Challenge season pass, which had that race included last month 😠

7+1 yesterday. The national team coach have the option of giving one wildcard to the final, which would mean the lowest ranking rider already qualified would move down to first substitute. Madsen not in the qualifiers because he didn't participate in the Danish Final last year which gave spots for this years qualifiers.

The track was fine. I hope they'll never participate in Danish speedway again.

That is true.. but still great considering five of the seven teams are located in the same area of Denmark thus having to fight for the same spectators

The streaming product, including the commentators, is indeed not good. Go a few years back and watch when it was sent on Danish national TV. They knew how to make it entertaining. About the crowds, I don't think it's too bad considering it's the danish league. In Vojens the attendance today was around 2600. Last week there were 3300 in Grindsted, 2600 in Holsted, 1800 in Slangerup and 1500 in Esbjerg. All on the same day and time.

Now this is interesting.. somebody posted on X "It is compulsory for each rider to always wear their riding number jacket or race jacket design on race suits during TV interviews, draws, free practice, qualifying, opening ceremony, press conferences, racing, prize giving ceremony and in the pits area." Many of the riders were not wearing their race suits.
