  1. Not to my knowledge, but apparently Sheffield have put Brennan down for both meetings in the line-up submitted to the referee(?) Perhaps they've since realised their cock-up, hence the reason neither team seems to have put out full lineups yet.
  2. So, with one-and-a-half matches left, I'd say you must've failed basic maths.
  3. I've heard of some strange rider demands, but I didn't know the club was supposed to supply that!
  4. They've either ridden 7.5 matches, or only one team turned up for one match
  5. From: "Nobody knows what time it starts" to: "Actually everyone knows what time it starts because it clearly says 6.00pm in all the advertising" to: "Well.... erm.... erm.... You should tell someone else too. Does seem to be the most bizarre self-own of all time!
  6. There were only 2 passes after the second bend of lap 1 though...
  7. Think you may well have the wrong end of the stick with half the information.
  8. Klindt is third in the KL averages. The one immediately above (Basso) can take a ride, and anyone below (Iversen, Kvech, Wojdylo, Rowe)
  9. Surely he'd be bottom of the list, due to his loyalty to Oxford? I'd imagine BV would use their own asset Jake Mulford, who was their rising star last season until getting injured and being switched for Connor Bailey. Antti Vuolas would be my choice at No.6
  10. Says who? If I wanted to buy Swaffham tomorrow and open it for speedway, why shouldn't I be allowed to? Was Cradley "instead of" Wolves. Is Notts. Forest "instead of" Notts. County?
  11. Any idea when it will be? Nothing showing on the dates yet. https://britishspeedway.co.uk/2024-ndlrc-series/
  12. Wolverhampton fans didn't support Cradley. They were rivals 8 miles apart. Why wouldn't King's Lynn want a local rival?
  13. Swaffham is only 13 miles from King's Lynn. But then again, Wolverhampton was only 8 miles from Cradley Heath...
  14. At the start of the season we were told that there was a commitment to development of future British riders. All clubs must either compete in the NDL, compete in an organised second-half competition (NJL, MDL), or run a round of the new Development Series. Anyone failing to help the future of the sport in this country would be fined £5,000. Below is a list of the clubs and their commitment to Development League racing. Are we to assume Berwick, Ipswich, King's Lynn and Plymouth are opting to take the £5,000 fine? Or do they have plans? Belle Vue - National League Berwick - NOTHING Birmingham - MDL Edinburgh - National League & NJL Glasgow - NJL Ipswich - NOTHING King's Lynn - NOTHING Leicester - National League, MDL, & Development Series Round Oxford - National League Plymouth - NOTHING Poole - Development Series Round Redcar - National League Scunthorpe - Part National League Sheffield - Part National League Workington - NJL
  15. Anyone who says they wouldn't swap out a perfectly pleasant, 26-year-old, reserve journeyman, for an 18-year-old, next-big-thing, exciting talent, is either lying or foolish.
  16. poor show from Poole not to have a couple of local track reserves available. Denying a young kid some laps.
  17. All you are proving is that the people you are criticising know the rules, and you don't. Ocford have had 6 riders all season, having named Alex Spooner but him not be able to take his place. This means no facility for the space in the team. Leicester were missing Arran Butcher due to racing grasstrack. Had he been 18 or under, they could have had a guest. However he's over 18, so no facility. The only option for a "no facility" situation, is an unattached 3.00 rider. You still haven't named the unattached 3.00 rider who would be better than the choices made.
  18. If you mean Kai Ward, Mickie Simpson and Dayle Wood, they're all in 1-7s of other teams. So try again. Who are you saying would have been better than Sam Woods?
  19. Not even one of those occasions where the rules are ambiguous. The rule is very clear: SR11.4 "If riding at #7 a guest from the Rising Star list must be used, their MA must be lower or equivalent to the missing rider. The Rising Star guest must not be in a current Premiership 1-7."
  20. Easier said than done. There just isn't a supply of riders around. With hindsight Sam Woods worked out badly, but before the meeting he was potentially the best option.
