  1. Think you'll find that Armadale are the team who wanted the limit increasing to allow Aussies in, not the team suffering from it...... Kyle Bickley 9.58 Jacob Hook 8.00 Lee Complin 7.27 Danny Phillips 6.86 Josh Embleton 3.92 Gregor Millar 3.17 Kyran Lyden 3.00 41.80 (Just need a 3.00 rider if Millar can't be convinced to give it another go).
  2. Yes, what is it they say about rumours? Oh yes..... They're usually true.
  3. Seems like my prediction last week of who the next two signings would be was spot on. Hard to believe that Berwick wouldn't want to retain Ace Pijper. Seems to fit in with the rumours that Workington have been throwing big money at riders to try to tempt them away from their clubs.
  4. D Thompson 9.73 J Thompson 9.11 M Perry 5.67 T Spencer 5.26 A Boughen 4.95 V Foord 3.85 M James 3.00
  5. Anyone wanting to rethink Oxford's 100% fact yet?
  6. If you watch one game of basketball per month you have too much time on your hands.
  7. Keep up! Mulford came in as the new No.8 when existing No.8 Jenkins stepped up to replace the injured Palin.
  8. Well he will be at Oxford when Leicester visit. But it's not 100% fact because he could be injured or unavailable.
  9. This week's Speedway Star says that Coles isn't in the Lion Cubs 2023 team due to the clash of Saturdays with Berwick CL. I can imagine Connor will double up with the two Berwick teams. I'd say Leicester will include Joe Thompson, Max Perry, Tom Spencer, Ashton Boughen and Max James.
  10. No. Jenkins came into Peterborough as their No.8 when their existing No.8 Dan Gilkes was injured. Obviously when Palin was injured Jenkins took over his place in the team, which was the whole point of having a No.8
  11. No. He didn't. Jordan Palin was Peterborough's No.7 last year. It was possible to ride in NDL, Championship, and be on the rising stars list as a No.8. which is what Jenkins did. This year there are no No.8s and Jenkins will be Peterborough's No.7 rising star
  12. Don't think Gilkes is allowed to ride in all 3 leagues. Same applies to Jenkins. Can only imagine Boughen at Leicester.
  13. Sure. Leicester - Dan Thompson Peterborough - Jordan Jenkins King's Lynn - Jason Edwards Wolverhampton - Leon Flint Ipswich - Jack Thomas Sheffield - Dan Gilkes Belle Vue - A choice of whatever is left after the above picks.
  14. Common knowledge who the rising stars are. They had to pick in reverse order of the league table (although Belle Vue were moved to last pick as reigning champions even though they weren't actually top of the table). So the order of choice was Leicester, Peterborough, King's Lynn, Wolverhampton, Ipswich, Sheffield, Belle Vue. They had to declare who they wanted so that the rest would know who was left, so really only Belle Vue can keep their choice a secret.
  15. Wrong. The criteria is that the rider has to have been eligible to ride in the NDL (doesn't have to have ridden in it) and not have represented a foreign country. So a British rider who went straight into Premiership or Championship and didn't ride in NDL would still get a reduction, because he was eligible for NDL, but someone who has represented Australia wouldn't.
  16. Out of interest, who are the 19 riders who you think shouldn't be in the NDL? Or if it's easier to answer, which is the one rider that you think is the only one who should be in the NDL?
  17. Simon Lambert was in a declared 1-7, so there was no problem with him guesting.
  18. Been working fine for me all day and still working fine now. So the site isn't down. Sounds like a problem at your end. Have you tried clearing history and cookies?
  19. Not on Tuesday they weren't. They may have changed their mind again on Wednesday once the 2 home 2 away was scrapped.
  20. Done a bit more investigating. The programme is apparently from BBC3 and it is called "Ru Paul's Drag Race UK". It seems to be a really vulgar version of X-Factor for Pantomime Dames, but without any singing. The lad in the speedway top appears about halfway through as some kind of judge. I wouldn't watch it, but it's here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m001f7cl/rupauls-drag-race-uk-series-4-episode-9
  21. Never had any problems here. I mainly use Brave Browser on the computer, and Chrome on the phone.
  22. Did anyone see this on BBC1? Some lad wearing a shirt made up of pictures of an Arena Essex racejacket, Trackstar fork cover, and a Speedway Star logo. Think he said his name was Ole something? He said something about being a competitor in a "Roo Paul Drag Race" (??). (Looking at him I'm guessing this is something to do with people in women's drag rather than actually being drag racing). Whatever it is, it said it was coming on BBC iplayer soon.
  23. They weren't on Tuesday when Championship was set to be 2 home & 2 away. Bewick, Armadale and Plymouth were all set to dump NDL. Did they change their minds on Wednesday?
  24. No. Someone else trying to grab the Lions share of the heat leaders
