Or maybe Middlo has no more rooms available for them to stay
-
I reckon and I don't know but I would have thought Poole would pay a decent wage packet and with that comes with a good chance of winning trophies and you may earn a few more £'s at somewhere else in our league and win f*** a** I suppose you would have to ask the riders what they would rather do but I reckon they would rather be in a winning team than not but who knows maybe you're right but having played sport all my life when you win its better than losing
-
In the 80's we had Danny Kennedy he was an Aussie RIP maybe with us not according to someone on here that Tate and Keynan are not going to Wimborne Road next season we will get another Kennedy as the Ford's look far and wide for riders.
-
All these people who seem to be in know who is or isn't going where are you just guessing of Do you really have contacts and are Glasgow " sniffing around " if these chaps the Aussie 2 are not going to Poole because of a better offer then good riddance and enjoy winning not much to a good chance of winning something at Poole but they may well not do our league so all hypothetical.

Support what you say completely only thing to add in the current climate £20 to watch a meeting is to some people a lot of money but you have to ask yourself if you can afford £20 plus petrol and you love speedway then go.If your opinion is it's too expensive that's fine but quantify that by does the money really matter ? then 1 you can afford it and 2 would you enjoy it,if one them those is true then go.

That seems a good theory why he was let go it's away you need your big guns scoring as at home your second string and reserves can be the difference thanks for that info.
-
Well we can't both have Jack Thomas and in Nathan Ablitt ( Natha's brother )someone will get a rider who has had a whole season at all tracks and will be up against a few new 2 pointers so could be a good signing
-
So am i,thought he was an excellent captain and a very decent bloke not that Steve Worrall isn't but must be a reason Danny was let go as they are both as good as each other on the track and probably on the same money.Maybe money was the deciding factor we'll never know or maybe some scribes on here who seem to be well informed, someone can't remember who said Danny was going to I think Redcar a few pages ago or then Birmingham will give us the answer still rest assured the Ford's will put together a top team.

Don't know anything about him, where was he riding last season etc can someone please let me know
-
Assuming your right and people on here from what I have read seem to think you know someone with insider knowledge then we will ditch one of the big 3 and Kemp.It won't be long before we have nearly the Australian test team representing Poole so if I'm to believe what's been said then 2024 our re entry to the top league could be not far short of the Australian test team Holder x 2,Kurtz,2 Cooks, these 2 new Aussies,no better stop now the Stella is kicking in.

Not surprised his attitude in the final celebration would not have done him any favours, thought he would improve more than he did last year there is a good rider in there and if Poole can't make him better who can ( I'm ducking down )
-
Might have missed it but has anything been agreed about guest riders ,Kennett saga last season is it going to be the same should someone unfortunately get injured and be out for a long spell.

Who would we drop for Chris Holder Poole icon he is but Matt always builds top teams and if he thinks that's the way to go then who could argue but I don't think it's likely but what do I know as for an earlier post about Matt flashing the cash I don't think he does Poole is a speedway town always has been and I suppose like say if Manchester United come calling footballers find it hard to say no and I should think its the same in our sport if Poole/Matt calls you to race at Wimborne Road ( paid on time and good chance to win trophies ) you would say yes.We are lucky as Poole is a holiday resort so always get good crowds so Matt may have a bit extra to invest in riders but from what I have seen on here the Glasgow promotion have all the money and try as they may have not found the best 7 to win the league yet so money doesn't guarantee success what you need is a good knowledge in speedway and a few contacts in Australia and a big house for your riders to live in while the season is on.

In the current climate we need some comedy

Dillon for Drew ?

That's the trouble with having three no'1s and the chefs who have improved immensely you have to let one go as success costs jobs still whoever is let go they won't be short of offers and if it is Steve and he is northern based he'll have a pick from a few clubs as apart from at Poole he will be riding No 1 as we can be sure it won't be Richard who is let go but who knows one thing we all can take for granted the Ford's will build a side that will be up there again as always.

On the night the best team won, would Leicester have won if they were at home we will never know but I think it's doubtful only my take On it.Poole have tracked a six man team all season with all respect to Nathan but doing that has enabled them to have three no 1's and the Cook brothers and Drew in the same team.Drew has not kicked on like many thought he would this season and his lack of interest in the celebrations tonight look like he's been told he has not got a place next season.Richard,Steve and Danny excellent but the Cook brothers having never been to Kings Lynn before won us the meeting and I reckon Buster is asking Middlo for their phone numbers to get in quick for next season.Big statement this but I see something in Ben that reminds me of Darcy early days yet but I bet after Richard he's next to be signed for next season. There is a lot of dislike of Poole on here from a few but the Ford's are Poole speedway fanatics and nearly always build winning teams and know the business back to front and I say again if they had turned up at for example Redcar,Scunny,or Plymouth to name but three would you be disappointed.Season over now well jubilee cup thing not sure how you can run this next season when Leicester will have a premiership team and Poole a championship team but who knows, maybe next season all will be fine but we need the right people in charge.

With all these postponed attempts at trying to stage the second leg it has given all fans the opportunity to put their take On events all with differing opinions what went wrong and what the answers are etc seen a few saying they don't care anymore and that is understandable but in reality we all want well Leicester and Poole fans want the final resolved but it must be at Leicester it's only fair and not forgetting the riders who look forward to a final pay day before putting the bikes away for the winter.Next season the powers that be must sort all this mess out arrange the league matches during the summer months and leave all other auxiliary fixtures to run if and when.
-
I am sure Leicester are doing all they can to get the meeting on,whether any issues arose prior to tomorrow re track/shale is wet dry someone didn't or did do what ever is irrelevant get the meeting on tomorrow or Sunday or whenever they can certainly don't want to possibly win by having ridden the home leg only no way to win then once it's completed all the powers that be can see what may have been done wrong and make sure it don't happen again would start with the obvious running play offs in October.Howarth getting married in October he would have assumed season would have been over by now and Scott try as he will I would have thought Leicester fans would prefer Kyle to be riding his home track.Still it is what it is hopefully the meeting goes ahead and we can defend our lead. The track clearly won't be perfect so depends which team has the best gaters on the night and brave enough to fly round the boards if needed.
-
Excellent that Oxford have returned and getting well supported which is great news for speedway.Hopefully next season the promoter will have a better budget with the big crowds to build a more competitive team as last season was full of optimism but final league position would have been disappointing.Poole will probably have to let one of their heat leaders go next season so ready made no1 for Oxford or whoever needs a top championship rider.

Who of the big three do you think will be let go ?
