  1. Line ups wolves masters and Morris RS belle vue zagar and fricke RS ipswich Doyle and king RS lynn pickering and Lawson RS Peterborough harris and Hans RS sheffield holder and Ellis RS
  2. From what I’m hearing they will be
  3. Exactly. Belle Vue already been paid but it doesn’t look good on belle Vue also
  4. Really good night. Great result. Great racing despite the score line. Good crowd. I’d say there was 2k there. There was over 1000 in grandstand and the south stand was pretty full.
  5. It only takes card which is crazy and the card machine failed so they couldn’t take payment.
  6. Been some great racing tonight. Eurosport missing this. not sure if we are very good or Sheffield are very poor.
  7. 900 advanced ticket sales in just the grandstand so far which is a decent number. So should be a good crowd
  8. He will be better than that today. He’s on form.
  9. Yeah. Perfect speedway weather. 16 degrees all day and cloudy
  10. Yes. Tofeek is musielak. That’s his nickname
  11. No. No Tv meeting this week. Belle vu v lynn on Tv next week
  12. Be some battles tonight Zagar v holder, Zagar v tofeek, Zagar v Ellis fricke v Ellis, fricke v tofeek, fricke v holder kurtz v tofeek, Kurtz v ellis, Kurtz v holder not forgetting Manc bragging rights of wright v howarth can’t wait for this. Could go either way. Very hard to predict
  13. A bit of morning rain aswell. Then dry and 17 degrees all afternoon. Should be a perfect track
  14. If this meeting can’t attract a crowd after 3 weeks of no racing. And good speedway weather. Then nothing will. 2 top teams going at it. It could go anyway. looking forward to this
  15. With what happened after the tumble (seizures) I should imagine he will miss more than the 12 days protocol. it was a rather hard whack to the head he had. it was a horrible sight get well soon palin
  16. Palin had an horrendous crashh at belle Vue today in the team GB day today. he spent the night in hospital. And looks like he will be out with concussion. And he’s a very lucky boy as it was a horrible sight what happened. best wishes to Jordan
  17. I will take a listen. because sadly what happened as taken away what was probably one of the best meetings on Tv with some excellent racing. Which is sad
  18. Wow. Brilliant news.good on them. Just shows it can be done.
  19. They have bought the stadium I have heard
  20. Sheffields statement just show a how unprofessional the sport is Surely if you have a section of air fence that’s different to the norm then you have a spare for that specific section just in case for that 1 moment you will need it. not having spares lies solely on Sheffield promotion. The patchy track that caused the crashes lies with the Sheffield promotion. And BTW. Other clubs would have been the same. Let’s hope they will learn from this mistake and go get the spares they need.
  21. No. They can move up. He will be moved to no2 where he will still be protected in heat 8. good on Tom. Can only help his development.
  22. No, I agree. British speedway is harming itself. But that’s just us die hards that can see that. Eurosport are broadcasting it to the nation with a shambolic presentation team. And I imagine any newbies tuning in would turn off after 20 mins of Sam.
  23. Breath of fresh air for British speedway. Gives us all every race. Ipswich very lucky to have him. During speedway is lucky to have in. hes 1 rider that as stuck with Uk speedway through the bad times.
  24. Yes. She’s the belle Vue presenter on the centre green. The whole presentation skills of BSN is good. I’ve been very impressed with Lee kilby. And I think Phil lanning is very good.
  25. The embarrassment of it could have been saved a little by Eurosport themselves. BUT…… they don’t have the presenters who can fill long gaps in proceedings. You get a good presentation team and they fill in the gaps comfortably and make you forget there is a delay. Instead we get Abbie who’s ok but nothing else. And Sam who is a nice guy but is terrible when being out infront of a camera. they also had the opportunity to show some racing from wolves to fill the time. Not the odd snippet of a race. The whole night was badly organised by Eurosport. now I’m not taking any blame away from Sheffield as they were it fault aswell. Yes you can’t avoid a crash like that but you can help avoiding it by not having a patchy track. No one’s come out looking any good from this. Especially the sport in this country as a whole. eurosport are damaging our reputation, so the quicker we can break a deal with them and start using in house streaming the better.
