Well done Ipswich. good match racing wise to start the team season. And it goes the way every season does for us. A home loss. We didn’t even look like winning this one. People will blame cook and norick but lidsey was the concern for me. cook we know will be better away and norick had a nightmare but that shouldn’t happen again. great to see Thompson starting the season so well. Ipswich got a trump card at reserve. Bewley was class last night, carried on like last year. Racing alot more aggressive. Needs to ride like that in GPs and he will put up a challenge.

This is exactly why I predicted Leicester to run out easy winners. to many new to the league riders for a first match. It will get better for brum at home. Just hang in there

When Cardiff was dropped and Manchester was announced 90% of comments, threads, posts etc, were all about the social side which suggests most people that went went for the social side.

They did hold tickets back in grandstand for the one day sales. they have to. They can’t tell you there will be one day tickets and then say there isn’t any when they are on sale. I worked it out that there is around 400 tickets saved for Wednesday for the one dayers. pricing I thought was a little steep in the grandstand but Bloodyhell they sold way quicker than I thought so they got the pricing right. all they got to do now is use the money they got from this to improve the south facilities before the GP hopefully

There was a lot of tickets blocked off which I assume will be for the one dayers next week. the £250 tickets never went on sale so they must be for the guests and hospitality and once that’s sorted will go on general sale. so while it looks like the grandstand is sold out it isn’t. But it’s sold better than I imagined it would so that good. south stand is selling very well and east is ok so far. More there than there was for son so far so that’s better.

I put aside £130 so I have £15 change happy days. See you all on June

We are notoriously bad starting season. Especially the first matches of the season. so could easily be an Ipswich win in both legs. but we must start the season well at some point. Hopefully this year is it

Frickes only had a handful of good performances at NSS since his departure, not sure why. But then we always have 2 very good riders who can beat anyone round NSS so it’s always hard for heat leaders here

They moved mulford to reserve so they improved the line up massively, no disrespect to Jake. this is not one to be missed
